It turned out great. One of the men who came out talked to me and it has gone to a bunch of money. I am glad that he did because it took care of all the problems. They came out within a week after I purchased the big deal and charged me an extra $420 over the big deal amount. The technician was excellent. I did not check the price with anybody else so I suspect that it was alright. The quality of their service was excellent. They responded very quickly and were on time. They were also very professional. The other guy was a college graduate even so he was well spoken and he knew his topic well. I have already given them two referrals.

The service was excellent. Aaron was our technician. He called on his way out to the house, he arrived on time, he was professional,polite and most important competent. He replaced the garage door lift cables on one of my garage doors, he inspected both garage doors, made sure my springs on both had the appropriate tension, he lubed both doors, springs and casters and advised me on when I should consider replacing the doors. Aaron was a pleasure to deal with and I would not hesitate a minute to call Precision back out for a garage door service call.

Josh was very knowledgeable and educated us on what our door needed. He gave us several options and gave us the pros/cons of each. He rebuilt our door (new cable drums, cables, roller, springs, etc) and installed a new opener. He worked quickly and cleaned up after himself. He even took our old opener with him so we didn't have to take care of it. The door and opener work better than they ever have!! We couldn't be happier. Thank you!

Originally, contacted Precision Garage Door Service to have one broken spring replaced and was quoted $145. Upon inspection the service technician, Josh, recommended a second spring to be added raising the price to $210 which seemed reasonable. However, upon inspecting remaining garage door components a complete overhaul was recommended to replace drums, cables, bearings, and rollers. It was at this point that I indicated that I only wanted the springs replaced given that my home was only 7 years old. The technician really pushed the overhaul and raised safety concerns if the overhaul wasn't completed. In hindsight I could have gotten by with just replacing the springs which would have fixed my problem. Overall I cannot complain that the service technician did a good job and the garage door works and operates better than it ever has. Definitely appears based on other reviews that the technicians are selling customers on overhauling existing garage systems that are not up to their standards when builders cut corners. I spoke with the owner and he takes great pride in his business and the work that his company delivers.

very good service Called early in the morning and got an appointment in the afternoon in a two hour window between 2 and 4. Josh was the technician assigned and called at about 10 till 2 and said he was enroute and about 10 minutes away. Once I showed him the broken spring he started performing his inspection of all of the door hardware and upon conclusion made some recommendations that made sense and needed to be done. I didn't feel like I was up sold something I didn't need. About an hour later he was finished and the door hasn't worked as quietly and smoothly in a long time. Great service and very responsive.

I called Precision to come out to repair a garage door opener that had become unattached from my garage door. They came out the next day and they were on time. Unfortunately the technician that came to my home wasn't able to explain to me that he knew the proper way to fix my issue and I did not end up using them to repair my door. I believe if I would have had another technician come to my home that I may have used this company. I did have a good conversation with the owner of this company and I do feel they care about their customers and their business. He was very professional in listening to my complaint and did have steps in place to fix the issue.

The installer was very organized and focused, very professional. He had one difficulty due to the age of the garage and the height, but he procured the correct hardware to make the installation correct.

Company responded immediately and sent someone out same day. Josh the garage door tech was on time. He was thorough, professional, took time to explain/demonstrate/recheck repairs. Josh provided instruction about cost, option with no "sales pitch." He supplied information about proposed maintenance & hours to contact the company for future service. I will use this company again and ask for Josh specifically. Highly satisfied. Highly recommend.

Everything went very well from the beginning to the end. The lady that I had spoken with on the phone was very friendly, and was able to set up an appointment within just a couple hours of my phone call. Josh was the technician that came out to my house. I appreciated that he called before his arrival, and was even willing to come a little earlier than quoted. Before he started, Josh was able to give me a detailed assessment of what the problem was, and what was necessary to fix it. Since I do not have a lot of knowledge regarding garage doors, I was happy that he took the time to break everything down for me. The price was higher than I wanted to pay, but I was convinced that it was appropriate for what I had done. He was also happy to apply an Angie's List discount. Josh even went above and beyond by helping me link my garage door opener that is installed in my car. This was a great experience. It is never fun to have to take time out of your day and spend hundreds on a home repair. However, this company made it easy and hassle free. Both Josh and the lady I spoke with were very professional and easy to work with. I would highly recommend their services to anyone in need of any type of garage door repair or replacement.

That went well. Then he saw a couple of other things that he suggested we replace, such as the cables and the actual cable rollers. So he went ahead and replaced those. We paid an additional $250. He was knowledgeable enough that he was able to see some things that we hope will extend the life of the door itself. So that is a good thing. If somebody is having a door issue, I would recommend them. The price was very competitive. He was very punctual. He called and said he would be there at a certain time and he was there. He was very professional. If we have a problem, we would definitely give him a call.

The service man arrived within the last half hour of the service arrival time that was told to me. I had come home ealry from work to be sure I was there when the serviceman arrived, so I had been waiting a while. However, once here, he told me that he did not have a touch pad opener for my garage door in his truck. I was the last stop of the day, and he had run out. So he apologized but wanted to reshedule. I was very unhappy, indicating that this was unacceptable. He then called other servicemen from their fleet and was able to locate a touch pad for my garage door. He left and return about 3/4hour later. He had some difficulty getting the unit to sink up with my door and so it took longer than expected to install. The "garage door servicing" part of my purchase amounted to him spraying a lubricant on the hinges of the door.. took him about one minute. that was it. The serviceman himself was very nice, very apologetic and I have had no issues with his work. However, because the company sold me a product that wan't even on their truck.. and the advertised "servicing" was simply a minute of time with a spray can.. I am disappointed in my experience.

It could not have gone any better. The technician, Jeff Whiteside, was awesome. He showed up looking and acting and very professional. Did a complete inspection of the door. Educated us, which previous companies had not, on things to look for with regard to potential future issues which we should be on the lookout for. Our expectations were exceeded by the quality of the work and the friendliness of Jeff. We informed Jeff that we replaced the spring on the door about a year ago. He specifically asked us if the previous company actually walked us through things to look for with the door or did they just show up and do the work. Jeff took the time to point out several areas that we need to keep an eye out for. Through his comments were a bit technical he made sure that we understood what he was explaining before moving on. We plan on replacing our garage door in next year and will most definitely call Precision Garage Door.

This deal turned out fine. The technician came out and replaced all of the rollers and did a diagnosis. They found a frayed cable and he was able to repair it for only $50. I was glad they showed me that because it saved me the hassle and cost of coming back out and fixing it later. Scheduling was great, no problem at all. They brought a trainee to the job and I noticed a good relationship between them. The veteran technician was explaining everything he was doing and watched over the trainee while he did work. I felt very comfortable with them doing their work.

The service turned out fine okay and I paid the $ 99. When I made the appointment I said, I'd like to see that and then pay the difference, which they were fine with and it was a reasonable amount. I cant remember how much more was there. It's hard to say whether they did anything wrong or not because you know I'm not an expert. What they did was fine and they were polite and then he did try multiple ways of trying to make it work. I mean he had several models with him and he could not get the key to work on my garage door. I mean we had the old one but I wanted to get a new one. They did not charge me more than $ 99. I got the rollers replaced and I got the tuneup. The responded very fast it was like a couple of days and I was very surprised.

I had been having issues with the garage door randomly going up when I was away from home. The day that I called for service, I couldn't get it to go down unless I disengaged or used the manual overdrive to pull it down. Since I had been having issues with that particular door, I called Precision having used them in the past with great success. Of course, when the technician arrived, the garage door went down with no issues. Figures. He did stay and tried to get it to act up, to no avail. He rechecked the sensors and they both appears to be in good shape. I was told to give them a call the next time it happened and they would come right out. So far (fingers crossed), I have had no more issues. Per the special that day, he did replace the rollers and now it is so smooth and quiet. I would highly recommend Precision. They are very prompt, courteous, and get the job done quickly.

Jeff called ahead to let us know he was on his way and arrived in 10-15 minutes as he said he would. He was punctual, courteous, and professional. He installed the rollers and then offered us the keyless entry pad for half price, which we accepted. Jeff showed us how to operate the pad (re-set password, etc) and advised us on other garage door maintenance. He gave us a quote for future spring replacement. He noticed my university license plate and we chatted for a few minutes afterwards since he was also from that region of the state. I definitely noticed that the new rollers make opening/closing quieter. Overall I was very impressed with his professionalism and I would certainly call Precision Garage Door the next time I need work done on my garage door.

It went fine. There were additional charges beyond the big deal amount of $99. We ended up spending about $625. This was the first time we used them. I don't have any complaints.

I was not there but my husband said he was professional. Unfortunately, shortly after this service, one of the garage doors has not quite acted right. We have just been too busy to follow up and am not sure if it was from their service or not. Seems strange that after a "tune up" the door would break so quickly.

I purchased this $99 deal to replace the Key-less Entry Pad, since mine was broken. Ended up upgrading and paid $140 to also replace the original metal rollers with nylon ones. I was able to schedule the appointment to accommodate my schedule. The technician was on time and very professional. He was done in probably less than 30 minutes, including consultation where he suggested to also replace the springs. Even though it was Angie's Big Deal I think the service price is fair. Pad with nylon rollers can be purchased for under $50 for both. The rest $90 for 30 minutes of labor is just fair.

They are terribly terribly expensive. We had to have it open so we went ahead with it. It was $80 for just having the service call. I was uncomfortable that he didn't leave an itemized bill. He also took my full credit card information without swiping anything, so that made me uncomfortable too. The door is working though so far. He was very polite. He also said that he went through training which I was pleased to hear. I'm hoping that the door will continue to work. The door was loud before so I was hoping it would be more quiet, but it still is loud.

It went very smoothly. He gave me a half hour's notice of arrival time. The job took less than a half hour. The serviceman was courteous and explained how to work the new code pad. I would definitely use Precision again!
