They were courteous, efficient, and did a very good job.

Installer was very quick and efficient. He installed a Lift Master door opener that has operated very well, and he helped program the door opener in my car as well as an extra device. I was a *little* disappointed to discover that the ability to remotely close the garage door that the tech described, required an extra device (hardware). I'm not certain the tech was aware that hardware was required for that feature and it did not come as part of the door opener. I was also a little disappointed that the opener does not have a motion sensor to turn on the light (as the Lift Master in a family member's home has). In retrospect, I'm very happy with the service, but I wish I could have explored more features and options for my door opener.

We have used this company in the past for service work and they did a nice job at a reasonable price. We had a spring break on garage door in the afternoon. Could not open door to get vehicle out. Called Precision and was quoted a price of $121.50 to replace spring. They waived the $65.00 service call because of Angie's List - thank you Angie. They said they would be here between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm next day. They showed as scheduled and replaced spring. But, they also found several other things that they said needed attention to the tune of $160.00. When it came time to pay - they don't do paper invoices - all via electronic receipt. They cant give it to you while they are there - they email later in the day. When we looked at the invoice the $65.00 service charge was still applied, and there is a $15.00 fee for travel/trip? Called them - they credited us the $65.00 service fee. Not sure if the other things really did need attention. That's just the way it is today - right. Would I use them again - probably. They did good a nice job, they were timely, and the price to replace the spring was not out of line. Just beware of the "up-sale" for other services.

Their punctuality was great and they wanted to make the service right. They replaced parts on the garage door and replaced the bottom of another door. They installed an opener with a code which has been great.

Spring broke the night of 5/14 and I called in for service at 08.00 the next morning. I was slotted for a 1-3 time on 5/15 but they had a cancellation and our tech Eric was actually able to come earlier, so at a bit after 9 he was on site. The broken spring was a symptom of a deeper problem with the bearings supporting the door axle and the torsion wire drums. That being the case, a door rebuild was in order and even though I thought it was a bit pricey for a new spring, bearings, drums, and cables, Eric was very professional, personable and prompt. He explained everything he was going to do, parts he was going to replace, etc. Job was complete and Eric was on his was in approximately and hour or so. Door was working like new again.

I initially purchased on the specials. While dioing that work, the tech (forgot name but VERY professional) pointed out several placees that were in need of repair. The door was extremely hard to lift but found out it was installed (by someone else) incorrectly. Tech reworked the dooe so that 70-year old can open one handed - finally using the garage the way it was intended.

Purchased the $99 Big Deal to replace the rollers and general maintenance of the garage door components. The technicial was prompt and efficient and job was done in less than an hour. Technician was professional and very helpful in answering my questions and he also provided estimates on the cost to change the weather stripping on the garage door. He also offered recommendations and advice on the status of the garage door spring as it was older and needing future replacement but he did not try and sell me on additional repairs, just offered his recommendations. Overall a good experience and would use them again.

The did an excellent job. I did end up spending alot more money than what I wanted to spend. They were really nice guys and they came out and were timely. They were also very thorough and did a good job.

They were great. They were on time and professional. They explained every thing they were doing before the work was completed. I had them do more than they suggested to prevent any safety issues from occurring in the future. They cleaned up after they were done, spent time setting up my phone to be able to use the remote access and explained how everything worked so that i would be able to tell my husband how to use it on his phone!!

Our technician was wonderful . He even called and came 2 hours early on a Sat. Afternoon. We could not get the garage door to open and close. He analyzed the problem and put in a new wall keypad My only problem was the Angiee's list coupon was not honored as Precision did not consider this a repair and the coupon only applies to. Repair on the door itself. This is not listed on the coupon. I would definitely use them again but I will always ask now for any clarifications before I use someone's coupon.

Ladies were pleasant, efficient, etc. Only reason I would not schedule again--I need total house done (upper level and enclosed porch during the summer) but the price is too high for me to get it.

Technician took plenty of time to explain exactly what needed to be done and did a great job. Would definitely use them again.

No show. No call. When I finally called (after the time window), they informed me they were not able to honor the appointment due to time constraints. If you expect responsive, punctual service, this is not the company for you.

Was given a window of 10am-12pm for Tech to arrive. By 12pm nobody had shown up or called to inform me they were running late. Since I was already home all morning with two kids waiting on a tech and ready to get out of the house, I booked services with a different company. Shortly thereafter I received a phone call informing me the tech was running 30 minutes behind; at which point I informed them I had already made new arrangements and could not wait around any longer. They did apologize afterwards but at that point I was ready to move on...

Contacted the 24 hour call center on Saturday afternoon, 3/8/14 around 2 pm after a catastrophic failure of my garage door and opener. The lady that I spoke with was more than happy to set up someone to come to the house to give me a quote to replace both the door and opener. The following Monday, 3/10/14, a representative contacted me and told me they were no longer offering free estimates due to heavy work loads and I would have to put down a 25% deposit if he were to come to my house. He did provide me with some "ball park" numbers based on some questions for comparison purposes, although the prices were a little high this was greatly appreciated.

Jeff was our technician and he did a fabulous job of giving us answers to questions we needed. Did not pressure us, but gave us accurate information so we could make our own decision. Would definitely use them again.

The technician arrived about half an hour early - which was ok with us. Checked out the door asked how long it had been in operatable - so long we couldn't give him a definite time frame. Suggested replacing the rollers to give smoother operation and increase the life of the opener. After installation went over the operation and use. We were very satisfied.

Overall was very satisfied. Andrew was very professional and thorough in explaining all of my options. I called on the morning of 2/19 to report my garage door wouldn't open they said they could have someone out the following morning. The only thing that could have made the experience better would have been if they could have gotten someone out sooner. Aside from that I was pleased with services provided and would use them again in the future. Worn out gear was replaced.

Josh did an excellent job. He showed up on time. Quickly resolved the issue and did not charge me since it was a simple resolution. This is EXCELLENT customer service. He did recommend the rollers be changed within the next two years but no high pressure sales job which was GREATLY appreciated. When the time comes, I will call Precision Door to do the service. I also had a wonderful experience with the customer service representative Vicki. My dog got loose while I was on the phone with her and she was very patient with me as I wrangled him back into the house. She originally scheduled the appointment for the afternoon but called me back within a few minutes and was able to get me a morning appointment. Overall this was an exceptional experience and I would highly recommend their services !!

Jeff and Mike (2 trips due to the ceiling needing to be fixed) were both very prompt, professional and thorough. They did not pressure me into more than needed, but explained what a priority should be and gave me some good options to consider. Precision is an honest company and I use them at my personal home, as well as rental properties.

After a miscommunication (I stated I wanted to stick with the same color door so that I would not have to paint trim - the color that the tech suggested ended up being vastly different, and looked terrible on the house) the owner contacted me directly and was quick to come back and change out the panels to a better match. Very happy with the overall outcome and the responsiveness of the company. Work was done quickly and we have had no problems.

We bought the opener at the Home Show in Indianapolis and got a good deal on it. However, when the service guy showed up to install it, he put a sales job on my wife that scared her into spending twice what we had budgeted for this item. Now, I'm sure that the items he sold her probably needed to be replaced or repaired, but apparently he only sold her half of what needed to be fixed, so now I'm going to have to call them back to finish what should have been included in the original service call ($65 for the service call, $15 fuel surcharge for a total of $80). And I'm not sure if I got this part of the story exactly right, but the service guy said all of the repairs needed were part of a package, so now we don't get the package price since it wasn't performed in the same service call. So, in summary, $400 in unbudgeted cost, no discount now because of the way the repairs were explained plus set us up for another service call to finish the repairs the service guy said we needed. I said in the questions above that I would use them again, but it will be with when I am home and not at work (another cost).
