On Tuesday night one of the large springs for our overhead garage door broke. Wednesday we decided to call three companies that we had determined were our top three based on our Angie's List search. All three companies had 200+ reviews with an overall A rating (Paramount had over 600 reviews!). We got quotes over the phone for replacing both springs (it was recommended that when you replace one it's best to replace the other because it will probably fail soon also). Out of the three companies we called Paramount was by far the lowest price and in additional to the great price they offered a 10% discount to Angie's List members which saved us even more. Typically the lowest price would be a cause for concern but I felt confident in having them perform the work based on the large amount of reviews they had on Angie's List. We spoke to Paramount Wednesday evening right before close and they said they could get us in the next day around noon. TJ Nolen was our installer. He showed up on time and was very informative and professional. He pointed out another component of the garage door that was a little loose and went ahead and replaced that for us as well. He was very knowledgeable and was done in about 30-45 minutes. We paid the invoice then and that was that. Overall it was quick and painless which is what you hope for. We would definitely recommend and will use again if we have any future problems.

Our garage door was stopping about three feet off the ground. Provider came out and diagnosed problem and fixed it promptly. Also last summer he had straightened the rails of another door, that I had hit with my car. Prompt and professional

They are awesome. We have used them twice and when we call them they come to our home and offer us options. They give us an opportunity to repair, rather than immediately replace for more money. They have done that for us a couple of times. At the same time they replaced the garage door opener motor, since we were repeat customers, they also gave us a free keyless entry pad so I can open the garage door if I don't have the opener. They also gave us a good deal on the garage door opener itself. I will never call anybody but them.

It took two trips but the job was done and done well.

Short and sweet! Got here when promised, explained what the problem was, fixed it promptly and left. Couldn't ask for anything more.

He was really easy to work with and he actually tried to diagnose the problem over the phone to see if he even needs to come out, which I thought was pretty great. When he came, he was quick and efficient.

They were absolutely fantastic. The guy did a fantastic job. It wasn't very expensive at all. Price has never been an issue with them. I never got the feeling that he is trying to up sell me and spend more money. He is really just interested in what we need. The price is very fair. It's just been very good that way. He's now my garage door guy.

The installer arrived on time and the work was completed as agreed. He even installed a larger than normal seal at my request for no additional cost to ensure both ends were tightly sealed.

From bid to close, TJ of Paramount was a pleasure to work with. The bid was fair and TJ brought out samples for us to look at that enabled us to make our garage door selection in our home. The install went smoothly and the debris from the old garage door and installation was hauled away immediately after the job. There was a bit of follow up required after the installation and this was handled quickly and professionally as well. I highly recommend Paramount Garage Doors.

Did a wonderful job, kept costs as low as possible by using the good pieces of the door being replaced to rebuild the other. Very polite, professional. Found a perfect match to existing pattern and color.

I purchased a service through Angie's List Big Deal and the company NEVER contacted me (as per the Big Deal, they were supposed to contact me). After not hearing from them for several weeks, I decided to try to contact them. I e-mailed and called them repeatedly but never got any response. Angie's List eventually had to refund the money I paid for the service. It was quite a disappointment.

I will need to contact provider for a another service call. Door now makes a "poping" noise prior to closing.

The provider and I kept leaving messages for each other. I was never able to schedule the service.
