Paramount Garage Doors

They were fine. they came when they were supposed to come. They were reasonable in their price. We signed up for a special deal and then they came. We thought one garage door was bad but it turned out the other one was so we did end up having to pay a little bit extra but they fixed the original problem and they looked at the other garage door so it worked out fine.

It went very well. He was on time for the estimate and on time for the installation of the door. He was very professional and did a very good job. Even after he installed the garage door I asked him if he could get the insulation off the old door and he did. He had to pull everything out of his truck again and he was more than happy to do it, even though he had to work up a sweat. If I ever needed anything fixed with my garage door I wouldn't call anyone else. He had very reasonable prices. I was expecting $1000 and it was much less than that. He was punctual and I did not have any issues. He was very thorough and offered to do a tune-up in the summer. He told me to call him. He came all the way out here to fix a simple problem and he did not charge me a service call fee. He just asked me to cover his gas. I will use him again.

A phone call after 8AM on 3/20/14 to Paramount Garage Door (TJ Nolen) voice mail resulted in an immediate response to my wife to set up an appointment time (11:30AM to 1PM). TJ showed up just after 11:30AM, analyzed why door opener was not working properly, suggested a replacement since mine was to old to repair any further, and completed the installation in a couple of hours (included new hardware with proper safety equipment, and the opener). He was very professional, his appearance made my wife comfortable, the job was first class, and the price was very reasonable. I would recommend Paramount Garage Doors (TJ Nolen) as a first choice for anyone needing garage door service.

I have no complaints on the work they accomplished, but I really had to dig to get the financial impact of additional services they indicated my garage door required. Ultimately i did not get the additional services because of this.

Finding Paramount Garage Doors was definitely worth the membership price in Angie's list. His reviews are excellent and it is easy to see why. He is knowledgeable, professional, friendly and efficient and as the business owner and tech you are not paying for extra layers of management.

I could not tell a difference after the work was completed. It was a straight-forward experience.

He put on new rollers and lubricated the door. The door has worked fine since.

He also did a minor repair to the brace on the door and there were no extra charges for this. They were here for about an hour to complete the work.

He was excellent. He is just great. When the main spring broke, he came out the early the next day and replaced it so I was really appreciative of that.

This is the 2nd time I have used TJ Nolen of Paramount Garage Doors. As per the 1st time, I am extremely pleased with his service and promptness. He did a thorough inspection of the door, made some adjustments to close some air gaps, oiled all the major parts, adjusted the sensitivity of the opener, and tightened up some loose bolts. At my request, he replaced the bottom vinyl strip on the door which had become worn thru repeated use.(For an extra cost). I have a much more well-known garage door company nearer to my residence, but due to a "bait and switch "attempt on their part in the past, I would only trust my service to Paramount Garage Doors.

Wonderful! He had installed the garage door opener after the original one from when the house was built (1995) died last year and I was planning on calling him to come back to maybe replace one of the panels anyway. I was able to get hold of him right after the incident occurred and he came out this afternoon at the time he said he had available. He was able to get everything taken care of within half an hour and told me that is was covered in the year warranty on the opener. He was able to answer all of my questions as well and showed me how he got the door back on the track in case I want to try and take care of it myself if it happens again. A very nice guy all around and easy to work with. I'll definitely be recommending him to all my friends and family!

We are very happy with Paramount Garage Doors. We needed additional work done, they only charged us what they said for what they did and then we contracted them to do more work too. The young man was very nice, helpful and personable. He didn't try to sell us anything. My husband dealt with him mostly on what was needed. He was here when he said he was going to be here and he came back when he said he was going to come back. We were happy with the service. We didn't research the product, we found the company on Angie's List so we figured they were a reputable company and we just went along with what needed to be done so I'm not quite sure about how to rate the quality of the work, but the price was fair.

The service was great. Thomas was very professional. Showed up on time and assessed the problem with my door quickly. Luckily, it wasn't anything major. He made a bracket for my door that would ensure better support for the opening and closing. Also, he educated me on my door and detailed things to be cautious about. Never tried to pressure me into any upgrades or unnecessary extras. Honest, reliable, local businessman with a great sense of integrity resulted to a very satisfied customer.

It's always nice to find someone who really knows his business. TJ instilled trust and we'll use him in the future for service on our new garage door.

He was on time, very nice guy, did a great job, gave us advice on some concerns we had. I would highly recommend.

He was good. I had the deal to look at garage door and do maintenance on the garage door but the garage door that I was having issues with, he was able to just adjust the garage door opener so we haven't used the "Big Deal" yet, I'll be able to use it at a later time. I had great service from him. He didn't try to sell me something I didn't need yet so it was great.

TJ came and assessed my situation, provided an estimate and installed my garage door opener within 4 days. Because my garage is small and the ceiling is low, he had to build a proper track and install the opener in the back of my garage. He did the work in 2 1/2 hours and it works great!! His estimate and actual charge were the same and well within my budget. I have recommended him to a couple of my friends with garage door problems and will continue to do so. I try to use local "Mom and Pop" businesses whenever possible as opposed to larger, corporate-type businesses. Great work TJ! Very professional and helpful!

See above - the work we needed was not part of the services included in the Angie's list deal. The owner will return next week to complete the work necessary and charge us for that. Apparently, the incorrect spring on the garage door was installed several years ago, and needs to be replaced.
