We are a locally owned and take pride in the work we complete. Paramount Garage Doors has a full selection of garage doors and openers to choose from. When you choose Paramount Garage Doors all work will be completed with our own employees and no subcontractors. We do offer an Angie's List discount so please ask when you call. All estimates are free and with a wide selection of garage doors and openers to choose from we will schedule an in-home consultation. We also offer a $20 discount to seniors.

TJ estimated the project. He was on time and very courteous. He also was the installer. He ordered the door and set up a date for the install. He was on time and performed the work in approx. 3 hrs. This included the full cleanup and disposal of the old door. TJ is a very likable guy and easy to work with. We are very happy with the new door and the change to the look of the house. I would recommend getting an estimate from Paramount and if the price is good, then I would recommend Paramount for the work. Paramount was not the low bid, but it was very close. I took their price because of TJ

The service went very well. I will use them again for preventative as well as repair services.
Description of Work: Garage door was noisy when closing. He checked and lubricated the mechanisms and tightened all of the door bolts. Door was then quiet as new.

I am really disappointed we never received any follow-up from this company and feel like I wasted a lot of time waiting for this guy to come through. Very unprofessional and downright strange, too, especially for such a large job. I do not want to have to chase someone down to give them my business. However, given how overpriced his estimate was in comparison to his competitors, it is probably for the best.
Description of Work: We are planning on installing a new carriage style garage door. I met with TJ Nolen to discuss styles and what was needed as part of the installation of the new door including a new opener and tracks. TJ gave me a ballpark estimate of $4000 - $5000. About a week later, he emailed me a picture of the garage door without a firm estimate. I emailed back indicating which style I preferred and asked for an estimate for the pictured door and one additional model. He said he would follow-up but did not. I emailed a second time to request an estimate for the carriage style door only but never heard back. I have since received 3 additional estimates from highly rated Angie's List garage door companies in the $2000-$3000 range for a similar carriage style garage door.

I called the number on the page, and I got a personal voice mail. I left a message. I got a call back about 15 minutes later. I told the guy my problem, and he gave me a few things to check on my door. We made an appointment just in case I still needed him to come out and do some work. Well, I did the things no the checklist and my door has been working ever since! I called him and thanked him. If my door ever goes down in the future, I will be sure to come back to this guy because he earned my business!

The service turned out well. I have used them before in the past. They actually ended up replacing the receivers at the bottom of the door. The technicians were nice, professional and timely. Scheduling was not an issue.

He called because he was running later than the scheduled 9:00 appointment, and asked if he could come at 9:30. He still arrived 15 minutes late and brought his toddler son because he didn't have a babysitter. I don't think he spent more than 15 minutes total at my house..

Thank you for your feedback. I am terribly sorry you were unhappy with your experience. I make every effort to satisfy my clients in the best possible way. Sorry I don't recall the exact day since a year has transpired since this service. However some circumstances do arise that prohibits my usual 30 min window for a appointment, in which I do call as a courtesy to my clients. Also to address the toddler, which is my son, although its very rare that something would come up that he needed to be with me a call is extended to inform my clients if this should be a problem. Assuming the work was completed would I stand corrected otherwise if this was not acceptable. The service you purchased on 5/14/2013 is my tune up and inspection offered through Angies List. If you have any questions as what was provided it is listed in the details of this special offer. This job does avg 30 mins depending on the doors being service. With all this aside I am very disappointed that we were not able to have an opportunity to address this a year ago. If any clients are not satisfied my primary goal is to reach that level of service. It turned out very nice, he did a nice job. They were very timely and professional. They did excellent work. Their pricing was very competitive. It was high quality. They were very punctual.

The quieting package did not make much of a difference, but I liked the professional attitude and we have since used Paramount for a few small garage door issues. Paramount is very professional.

I called after hours on a Thursday night to report a broken spring and he called me back that night and was able to come the next morning to replace the spring. He also was able to order the weather strip stuff we needed for bottom of door that got ripped off when stuck to ice in the winter. He did a great job, very professional and friendly and I feel he charges a very fair price. Thanks!

The owner came out to do the work. He was wonderful! We had to have him come out on off hours and there were no issues. He did a really good job and I was happy with them!

TJ provided an in home estimate that was comparable to other highly rated service providers. After an informative comparison of the products used (clopay door, liftmaster opener) and total cost of the requested services, I agreed to the offer provided by Paramount Garage Doors. TJ was punctual, professional, and informative. The installation was completed efficiently and there was no mess left behind to clean up. He seemed eager to educate me about how to fix it myself for the future. He was also willing to help me over the phone to fix the problem. Scheduling was fine and we did not have any problems. He was here for a small amount time to get the work done for a reasonable amount of money.

One, he was on time and I guess I can say springs are break. It is pretty basic, but he did the job as scolded and he was fine. He wasn't cheapest, but his service is fantastic. You can't expect good service and good price together.

It was a pleasant experience. He charged me what he quoted me and said he would be back in a couple of days to start and complete the job. He was late due to being tied up with a previous job, but he called and let me know he was running late. The job took no time at all. It was all wrapped up in a half an hour. I have reclaimed my garage and I couldn't be happier!
Description of Work: Replaced the top section of my garage door with a re-enforced panel and added safety protocols to my springs. Also added a stronger bracket to assist the garage door opener.

I talked to two other garage door companies and went to their showrooms, but neither was showing me what I was describing what I wanted the new door to looks like. TJ picked up on it immediately and showed my the door that matched what I wanted. He worked with me to do a custom window placement. The door arrived on time and he installed it promptly. Everything was clean when he left.

TJ, the owner, performed a marvelous job with the two garages. Not only he did what needed to be done, he also performed extra steps to prevent any issues in the future and provided recommendation in regards to the garage.
