It was a great experience working with Indiana Kitchen Company! Everyone we met there was very friendly and helpful. Our designer Shari was a delightful source of wisdom with design questions we had. We pretty much knew what we wanted going into the project, but when we came to hesitations on which way to go with certain decisions, she was terrific at outlining the pros and cons, i.e. had a hard time deciding cabinet hardware. Her help was terrific and we love the look! A very big point early on was with the cabinets themselves. Since we had some unique design requirements, she knew who could provide us with the "best bang for the buck" resulting is beautiful... less expensive... custom made cabinets! We are very happy with Indiana Kitchen Company and would not hesitate to use them again!

Julie was great. She showed us options that were within our budget and had some great ideas. She has a very good eye for matching colors and materials. In the end we found another cabinet line that matched very well with the cabinets that we already had and were keeping, and they didn't carry that line, so we went with another company.

Anything that could have gone wrong did go wrong. I was very thankful that I did not have to fight with Jon, the owner, to convince him that things were a disaster. There was plenty of blame to go around between Jon and the cabinet company. It was unbelievable. Jon did what he could to make things right in the end, but the amount of money spent and how the job went made us feel like we over paid and they under delivered. We chose to go with a custom cabinet company called Custom Cupboards. This is a cabinet company that Jon works with and recommends. Jon assisted us with the design of the kitchen although he would not release the design until we put down money/ordered the cabinets. It was hard to get an appointment with him as he was busy and doesn't like to do weekend hours. Either the order wasn't placed when we thought or the cabinets took longer than we were told. Regardless the cabinets were delayed/late which delayed the job a bit. When the cabinets finally arrived, not everything came or correct. The island was not delivered. There was not enough crown molding and there were no toe kicks in the order. Cabinets/doors were wrong. Anything that was damaged or did not arrive had to be told to Jon as there is not a good system in place to verify what you ordered is on the truck, correct, and undamaged when it arrives. The contractor or homeowner has to figure this out and tell Jon. All of the cabinets with two doors were wrong. Jon realized this but didn't say anything until I called to tell him. He was checking to see if it was his mistake or the cabinet companies mistake. The doors were to be full overlay and there was to be no divider between the doors in the cabinet. one of the doors was to have glass on it but that was wrong. The shelves in the cabinets weren't all included. Of course this was not realized until after the contractors installed the cabinets. The cabinets/doors took an additional 4-5 weeks to reorder. The contractor didn't want to stop working and wait since this would delay other jobs he had planned for after mine. Our family had been without a kitchen/running water for 4 weeks so the thought of another 4 weeks was difficult. I didn't think I should have to pay for the wrong cabinets. Jon said he they would replace the wrong ones with the right ones. By the time the correct cabinets arrived, the contractor had already done the under mount lighting, tile backsplash and laid the granite. We had to decide whether to repair what was there OR replace. If we replaced the cabinets there was the possibility of damage being done to the granite, tile backsplash, crown that would have to be removed from the wrong cabinets and reinstalled on the right cabinets. A domino effect. My contractor encourages us to have someone come in and repair the existing cabinets. We opted to repair in the end out of fear that by correcting one thing we would create other problems. Jon would only refund two cabinets (ones that were more difficult to remove). This totaled about $500. We also got a refund on the shipping which was a whooping $200. Oh and the doors after they were reordered...wrong AGAIN. I still can't believe we paid so much money and had new cabinets repaired to look like new. There were so many other little things that went wrong with the cabinets, but hopefully you get the picture. The quality of the cabinets and finish is just OK so that makes me nervous for the years to come about how the finish/quality will uphold. Jon Oliver is a very nice person. I felt bad that things went so wrong, but the attention to detail and follow through was just not there. He means well and wants to do well for his clients, but in the end it was very disappointing.

We had also used them in the past and were very pleased with that job as well. They do excellent, professional work. They are honest, capable and reliable.

Jon was outstanding to work with. He took note of all of our needs, style tastes, into the design. Jon is just very pleasant to work with and is good about identifying the pro's and con's of what we wanted vs. what would work.

We were shopping for kitchen cabinets for renovating our 1910 historic home. We were not looking for design work, although they do this too. We already had a design from our architect. Total price for the cabinets was fair, but the designer refused to give us an itemized list of everything that was included in the order. She told us that she had worked up the price from detailed drawings, which I am sure is true. She did seem to be quite thorough. However, since we are shopping price and trying to compare them from one dealer to the next, it was impossible to see if we were comparing apples to apples without a detailed list. This was quite frustrating and we decided to look elsewhere for our cabinets. They were very good about letting us borrow samples and answered all of our questions about the product itself.

If you want a kitchen company who will give your project as much time and attention as needed and offer great products and great advice, this is the cabinet company for you! Shari Porter and Jon Oliver are a terrific team and were both involved in our project from start to finish. We were on a tight timeline and they both worked overtime to get our kitchen designed and the cabinets ordered in a very short time period. Shari spent lots of time with me going over every detail and had great design ideas. Since we were remodeling, we had some quirky design details to work through, but Shari and Jon figured them out! Their professionalism and follow through are outstanding. Shari has the patience of a saint and never made me feel like I was bothering her with my 100's of questions. I would highly recommend using this company. They have cabinets for every budget and a beautiful show room.

We had gone to several other places for cabinets for the bar and were really liking one of the layouts but there were some things that we wanted and they were not able to provide it within our budget. After going to Indiana Kitchen Company, we were able to work everything into the layout, INCLUDING the things that were out of reach with other places we had been so we ended up ordering them from Indiana Kitchen Company and we are so glad we did! They were very easy to work with, our cabinets came in when we wee told they would be in, and they are perfect! We would recommend them to anyone interested in cabinets!

We used Indiana Kitchen Company to remodel our kitchen and bathroom at our former home. The owner, Jon Oliver, is involved with every aspect of the design to construction to sending you your bill. If you are looking for hands on service from the owner of the company, Jon/Indiana Kitchen Company is the place you should have your Kitchen or Bathroom designed or remodeled. Check out their showroom in Noblesville. Our new bathroom feels like we are showering at a hotel room every morning.

Jon Oliver is the owner and runs his own business out of Noblesville. He is the general contractor for the Kitchen design and my wife was thrilled with his work and suggestions. He uses advanced technology with his design work and is very trustworthy. His father has built custom homes for over 30 years, so Jon has great experience in this industry. We also used him to remodel our upstairs bathroom. We have since moved from this house, but keep it as a rental. When we remodel our kitchen in our new house, we will use Indiana Kitchen Company again.
