It went great! Before calling Craig I was very frustrated because other providers either wouldn't call back or when they did, said that the work I had wasn't enough for them to come out without a $300 minimum or some other excuse. Craig said he could take care of both projects for me at the same time, and his estimate was very fair. He was professional, punctual, and went above and beyond to make sure it was done right. The downspout turned out to be harder to fix than anticipated, but he got it done, it looks great and better yet, works great... The garage door system is also doing very well. His final price even came in under what he estimated. I would definitely hire him again in a heartbeat, he does fantastic work at a very fair price.

Craig is a professional who also has a lot of integrity. He has come out to look at and bid a couple of jobs and simply said that he wasn't the right guy for some very indepth projects (like opening up a load bearing wall). When I had a small plumbing issue and also needed a disposal changed, I called, he quickly knocked them out and was extremely reasonable on price. The next home project that I need help with--Craig will be my first call.

His name is Craig Hixon. He's super responsible and fast. He came out and gave me an estimate; then he bought the materials. He came in right on the estimate. He did an excellent job. He worked me into his schedule very rapidly. He was personable and nice looking. He's an ex-Marine. I've used him before.

I have used Craig for the past 3 years to complete repairs on a rental property that I own. He's always responsive and his broad knowledge of home repair has saved me both time and money. Most recently he was able to troubleshoot a leaking water softener. A local plumbing company told my property manager that it had to be replaced. Craig fixed it for about $100 in parts and labor. It's rare to find that combination of knowledge and honesty.

Craig called us ahead of time for an estimate on the job and how long it would take to complete. He showed up on time, quality of work was great, very friendly and professional. Already planning on scheduling him for a future job! Would recommend.

It was great! Craig was a little late for our appointment but called to tell me that he was about 15 minutes behind schedule . Once he arrived he went straight to work and dispatched my list of things to do quickly and efficiently. He resolved a couple of problems that had been a source of concern for months, the loft railing and the mal-functioning window. I loved his suggestion to attach a white garden lattice to my loft railing. The result was a decorative barrier to prevent my elderly cat from hanging over the edge! It looks wonderful. The work he did in my hall bath helped to make it look brand new. He even hung up the shower curtain after rehanging the shower rod. He cleaned up well after each little project and left my home in better condition than when he arrived. I will definitely call Craig for future work.

Mr. Hixon did a good job of caulking around the new trim boards. It was a fairly simple job. We remain pleased with the work months later. We would not hesitate to call this company again for additional work.

The gutters on both the first and second stories of our home were pulling away from the house allowing water to pour down the sides of the house and into the basement. In just a few hours Craig reattached and secured the gutters ...allowing us to have the first worry-free nights sleep in weeks knowing that our basement would be dry. Craig knew exactly what he was doing and even took the opportunity to take pictures of additional problems he identified when he was on the roof. He was on time, courtesy, very professional and charged us less than he estimated due to the job taking less time than he estimated. We definitely plan to have Craig back many times this Summer for additional projects.

The battery in the smoke detector on my very high vaulted ceiling was dying (and beeping loudly!) and I didn't have a ladder tall enough to reach it. We debated between renting a ladder or seeing if someone could fix it quickly and at a reasonable cost. We called Craig, found out he lived very close by and that he'd help us for just a little more than it would cost to do it ourselves. Just a couple of hours later and it was fixed! I'm so thankful to know there's a trusty handyman not far from home!
