Expert Window

In 2011, they did an awesome job for us at a reasonable price! However, I tried many times to contact them last fall, and again this spring, for additional repairs. I have not been able to reach them at all. They have an answering machine answering all calls, but I never received a call-back. I finally gave up and contacted another Angie's List recommended company.

They have not returned my phone calls.

They did an awesome job. Jared is a true craftsman. He measured and remeasured. I LOVE the new windows. Heat transfer problem due to sunny side of houe is significantly reduced wiut the low e windows and tint.

Jared was a pleasure to work with. He gave me a quote and the work was done the next day. The workers were very professional and did an excellent cleanup job. I had a few questions about the work and Jared responded quickly and answered them to my satisfaction.

He explained the work his crew would do in great detail, and described the ways in which this repair project would match or exceed the quality of new windows. His crew was very knowledgeable and professional in every way. They were punctual, courteous, and completed the work according to the schedule. During the purchase and inspection of our home there were several window issues identified. We contacted Expert Window to review the situation and give us an estimate to repair and paint the windows. After a thorough inspection of the windows by the owner, an estimate was provided and the repairs began. The crew arrived timely each morning. They were very respectful of our home and lawn. Shoes were always removed as they entered the house and the end of the day clean-up was as if they had not been there at all. I had complete trust in the people here and left the house several times without concern. My husband and I inspected the work having had window issues with past homes. We were very pleased with the attention to detail. One of the reasons for choosing Expert Window was their ability to fabricate and replace parts rather than the entire window. We know from experience that many window repair companies would prefer to replace the windows as they charge a much higher fee. I spoke at length with Expert Window owner, Jared Bingham, about the process. His philosophy is to determine the reason for the window issue and solve this rather than just replace or repair them without addressing the underlying problem. For example, he told me that screens should be left in all winter for our type of window. The screen keeps snow from laying on the window sill, freezing and thawing and causing the joints to pull apart. This is just one example of a simple thing that will keep our windows in great shape and avoid expensive future repairs. Our experience with Expert Window began at our previous home. We recommended them to several of our neighbors then and with our recent move were pleased to find they were already doing business in our new neighborhood. We did not check for other quotes as we were confident the price was competitive and the job would meet our high expectations. We believe Expert Windows is an outstanding company and highly recommend their services.

Jared and his team did a great job replacing all of our siding, rebuilding our screen porch with new windows and a new door. They coordinated their efforts with our painter to make sure they did their work and installation just before the painter was available to paint. They resolved any issues we had to our satisfaction. It was a big job and they did great.

I selected three companies with solid A ratings on Angies List, and made appointments with them to come to our home and estimate the cost of repairing some rotting wood around the exterior of our windows. Tyler Prater from Expert Window, by far, provided the most thorough inspection and detailed estimate. He asked me to join him as he inspected the damage. I worked from inside the house, pulling the screens out enough for Tyler to see if there was any damage under or inside the screens. As he inspected each window, he showed me where the damage was, and what pieces would need to be replaced. In all, nineteen windows needed repairs. The estimate was broken down for each window, listing the repair to be done and the cost for repairing each. Since I was asked to join him in the inspection, I knew that each window he recommended for repair needed it. Because he took the time to look under and behind the screens, he found windows needing repairs that the other two companies missed. Even considering the repairs not caught by the other companies, I was rather surprised at the variation in the estimates provided, and I would urge anyone to get several estimates before proceeding. Expert Window was not the cheapest bid, but they were far from the highest bidder also. Considering Tyler's attention to detail, I felt more comfortable going with Expert Window. The repair crew arrived on time and got right to work. We were very pleased with the quality of their work, and they did an excellent job of cleaning up when they were done. I recently got an estimate from a company to paint my home, and he, too, praised the quality of the work done. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I would 100% recommend this company and the owner Jared. I was about to purchase new windows when I found Jared's site on the internet. He came by immediately to provide information and an estimate. His estimate was 1/2 of the price of replacement windows. He was very professional and knowledgable. His pricing is great and he can provide continued maintenance service to keep the windows looking great.

I have wood casement windows which were in dire need of attention. I did tremendous amounts of research from repair, high end repair to replace and high end replace. For the money my view is repair made sense. Jared Bingham and Expert Window were professional, courteous and completed excellent workmanship if you buy into the repair vs. replace which I do. Bottom line is wood windows need to be maintained or you need to spend 20X to replace them which you may never get your money back and Expert Window met the mark.

Very prompt service from initial request for estimate through work completion. Worked around our schedule, allowed us to complete half of the work in the fall and the remainder in the spring. VERY professional crew, worked hard from the moment they arrived. High quality work. We live in a cedar wood house with wood window frames they repaired just about every window in the house and the work looks fantastic. My neighbor was so pleased with their work he hired them to come and repair his windows.

I contacted Expert Window and Home Improvement in April regarding wood rot damage that I noticed on one of my front windows. Jared Bingham, the owner, contacted me within a couple of days to set up an appointment. While here, Jared spent over an hour with me inspecting my windows and found several of them in need of various forms of repair. He also found two areas with extensive structural water damage involving the roof and an alcove area on my home, which needed attention fairly quickly. Several decorative cedar board trim pieces also needed replacement around the windows. I received a professionally typed itemized repair estimate within a few days of our consultation. The repair estimate was very detailed and easy to understand. After going over the estimate vs. an estimate that I received for new windows, which did not include the costs of repairing the structural wood rot damage, we decided to go with Expert Window to do repairs. I contacted Expert Window to put me on their schedule to do this job. Expert Window contacted me within a few days with an unexpected opening in their schedule and said they could begin the next day. The crew arrived on time and began the repair work. The crew on my job was very professional and personable. I was able to be here through the three days of repair and I was always consulted on any issues that came up. Jim, the crew supervisor, was very informative as to what they were going to do each day. The crew cleaned up every day, and was very cautious about working around the landscaping, landscape lighting and a fountain. I am very pleased with the repair work that was performed by Expert Window. The windows that were repaired have been taken to as new condition and the structural water rot damage has been fixed along with the guttering issues that caused it were remedied. I would not hesitate to have Expert Window do any future repairs to my house. These people are greatand mdash;they know what they are doing. I am a very happy customer. The workers arrived on time, were polite, clean and friendly. They took care to minimize any mess and made sure everything was clean and tidy when they left. They worked very hard and kept going at it. Before they left, they went above and beyond to help me unstick a few of the second floor windows and scrape off paint that sloppy housepainters had left on the outside of the windows. It was not part of their job, but they wanted me to enjoy the windows to their fullest and now I can. I have one more window to replace and I won't have to bother with getting more estimates. I know Jared and his men will give me a fair price and great service.

Jared and his staff provide prompt and professional service. They made convenient appointments and if they needed to modify the time, they called in advance. They were clean and neat in their work and very pleasant to do business with. The quality of the work was excellent. One window came in just a bit too small from the manufacturer and rather than try to "make it work," Jared's employee quickly explained that to do the job right, they would need to order a new window, which they did. They were prompt in finishing the work when the new last window was shipped.

Expert Windows will inspect your windows and recommend repairs and/or replacements. I was told that my windows were in good shape overall. I only had two sashes that needed replacement and repairs to sills and sill noses on some other windows. Composite materials were used where possible which will prevent decay in those spots again. Jared and I communicated by email and phone and he was very responsive. He actually called several days after the work had been done to make sure that I was satisfied before he sent the invoice. Window repair is much more cost effective than replacement and I will definitely use Window Experts in the future. I have recommended them to my neighbors.

Jared was extremely helpful in assisting us in finding a source from which to order the replacement windows needed to match our existing windows. Once the windows were obtained, Expert Windows quickly installed them and removed all of the replaced windows and related trash. They did a very professional job and we are quite pleased with the result. Should we need additional window repair in the future, we will certainly use Expert Windows for this work.

I thought the service provider was great. Even though there was a mistake on one of the windows, they sent it back and got it fixed with out any charges or problems. I would recommend him to family and friends.

Jason from Expert Window came to our house for a prescheduled appointment to do an estimate on the window repair. He spent an hour and a half going up and down a ladder looking at the interior and exterior of every window. I received the estimate shortly after. The written estimate was very detailed. A lot of time and effort went into creating it. After reviewing the bids received I chose Expert Window to do the work. They were the most professional and thorough in bidding on the work.The work crew showed up on time, was extremely professional, and very interested in doing a good job. They completed the work in a timely manner and did a very good job. I would highly recommend them!

Jared was very thorough in his estimate, taking an hour on his first visit to check every window very carefully. He saved us thousands of dollars by repairing only the parts of our windows that were damaged. Other contractors suggested that we needed to either repair every exterior surface of every window, or install all new windows. With his careful repairs, Jared gave us the equivalent of new windows for a fraction of the cost. We are very pleased with the results.
