Don did estimate & worked w/ins. Company roofers showed up when promised & was done one day. Siding order was short put work done promptly & well as it arrived. Left the area better/cleaner.

Ben came out and gave an estimate for replacing existing windows with new ones. We wanted high end, composite material with a high R-rating. the product is top of the line, and while the work was delayed due to a lot of rainy days, they finally managed to hit it hard and finish in one day, including exterior coil trim finishing. EHI is scrupulous about cleanliness... I could barely tell they had been in my house and yard. I have used them before, and will definitely use them again!! Worth the money.

EHI and, while not the least expensive, was the most comprehensive. Meeting with Steve and scoping the project was a great experience. We were able to discuss and and view multiple options that were possible. Steve did a great job identifying things we wanted while also providing multiple alternatives to create a great living space. After finalizing the contract, Steve introduced us to his project manager, Hilary, who performed and oversaw all aspects of the project....even those that were not directly related to EHI. The quality of work performed was incredible. And their attention to detail was impressive. As you can see from the attached photos, quality is definitely the name of the game when it comes to EHI.

Excellent service arrived on time and fast work

Out of the three service providers on Angie's List that I called for this job, Steven was the only to reply and he replied immediately though he was on vacation. He provided a written, detailed estimate as promised. Appointment for roof repair was first and completed on day promised. Painting had to await the weather to break and was done within a week of request. All repairs were completed on time, on budget and executed perfectly. Steven was a pleasure to deal with. Very professional and courteous. Would absolutely recommend this vendor and use him again. Great experience!

On December 23 a rare tornado passed by our home, brining down trees and damaging our home. We called Elbert construction and they sent someone out to estimate the damage. Several weeks went by and we didn't receive and estimate. I called again and was advised that the employee that was supposed to write our estimate was let go. So another employee can out and inspected the roof and said he would send an estimate... Now several weeks later no response. It is April and the damage was in December, apparently it isn't a big enough job for them to care about. We have worked with them in the past and the same thing happened. They made it right so I figured I'd try them again. Apparently last time wasn't a mistake, they either don't want our business or so disorganized that we keep falling through the cracks. Now I am searching Angie's list for a more reputable company. I don't want to leave on a bad note, their employees are nice and their trucks look good.

They were prompt and efficient. Everyone was professional and courteous.

The work of the people working for them stood out. They're honest and they provide a fantastic product. They have a decent and competitive price with everybody else who's out there.

Elbert Construction did a great job from start to finish. They worked well with our insurance company, helped us file the claim and working through the final details with them. They patiently answered all of our questions and were quick to do so. The roof appears to have been completed very well and very quickly, despite it being not a simple roof. It was handled professionally, and with minimal impact on our family.

Start-Horribly as sales rep never returned called for 2-3 months after getting down-payment. They called home office and the supervisor of residential called back in 1 hour and got job done with 1-2 weeks and got job done with 1-2 weeks and personally did on site supervisor job. A's after Todd the sup. took over job.

It went very well from meeting the salesman/estimate to the completion of the job. Very satisfied with their professionalism and quality of work.

The crew showed up & went to work. They protected all plants, etc., tore off old roof - tossed in dumpster, inspected sheathing & started roofing. Total clean-up after. They painted the exhaust pipe - they were great.

Matt sent an email responding to my shutter install inquiry immediately. I had difficulty locating someone who would install shutters. Most siding companies only focus on siding. His email made it easy to set up a time to meet at the house and discuss details. I was concerned this would be a job too small but he made me feel like my business was important. He was attentive and ensured I had estimates on delivery time and an estimate on the time of installation. He gave me confidence that he would oversee the job and staying home during install was not necessary as he would call if there were any questions or issues. After the install he sent me a picture of the house so I could see what it looked like with the shutters. This was great as I do not get home until after dark and so would not have seen my house during the day until the weekend. I could not have picked a better partner for my project and feel very lucky to have found Exterior Home Improvement Inc on Angie's list.

Planning with Matt Waters from EHI went smoothly and he was very knowledgeable of what needed to be done and how to achieve the best outcome. The EHI contract was very detailed and received promptly. Their bid was significantly less than other competitive bids. We were very confident that they would do an excellent job. The start and end dates were kept as agreed upon. EHI took off all the old T1 11 siding panels, put up new OSB underlayment, Green Guard house wrap, and then installed new siding and trim. We elected to have pre-primed plank siding and trim, and because this work was done in December, the exterior will not be painted until early spring. The siding tear off and installation, and window replacement were well coordinated. We were amazed at how fast and efficient the window installers worked. The work site was thoroughly cleaned up at the end of each work day. We experienced no bothersome inconveniences, and all the workers were very courteous and respectful of us and each other. We recommend EHI to others without any reservation.

When I noticed the loose siding I called EHI to have the repairs performed. They called back that same day, had someone out to the house the next day to check the damages and to order the material. I called back a few days later because the siding became more loose and was banging on the side of the house. I was concerned that it would cause damage since the winds have been so strong these past few weeks here in Indiana. I'm sure the repairman was very busy with other jobs yet he still came out to take down the loose siding the very next morning. He came out at 5 AM, in the dark, raining and windy to go up on the roof to get that piece of siding down. WOW. This is a very customer service focused company. It's why I always call them when I have any exterior needs for my home. I wish they did interior work as well.

The starting time slipped due to very rainy summer weather. The sales rep followed up with me very well. Very happy with the quality of the work done. The job foreman fixed my sticking front storm door for free. We had a complaint about the finish work on the wood trim on the windows. It was still rough feeling. It was fixed promptly with a second coat of clearcoat. We are very happy with our new Sunrise windows. We chose Sunrise sliders with inside woodgrain to match our existing trim. Really like the style, look and features of this product and the work done. Thank you Ben and Hillary!

The project went extremely well. I really like that they pay attention to detail. All the windows look great! Hillary did a fantastic job - his craftsmanship especially showed where the windows were adjacent to the stone exterior. A very professional job! I would certainly recommend Exterior Home Improvement.

Roof tear off & replacement went well. Covered roof with tarp during short rain (2 hrs) A lapse in time (2 months) before siding & window screens replaced.

We were in a hurry to fix a few a few minor siding issues that were mentioned on our home inspection report. Elbert Construction understood our urgency and came out same day to review and quote the repair. I can't say enough good things about Don who saw the job through from beginning to end. He color matched the replacement siding well, and went above and beyond with regards to the repairs requested. I would not hesitate to call this provider for any future siding or roofing needs.

I was absolutely thrilled with the professionalism and speed of the crew. The sales rep was knowledgeable and honest. I would definitely hire EHI again. Overall a grade A rating. I ave them a C for Responsiveness because communication could have been better. The the contract was signed in July but the work did not start until November. This in itself was not a big deal because we were not in a rush. However, I called a week prior to the start date to confirm the schedule and only then did I find out it would be pushed back. This happened three times. Each time I initiated the conversation. I expect more timely and proactive communication of delays.

After weeks of dry weather, they managed to tough it out in rainy and windy weather, and in spite of this they were very efficient in getting the old siding off, and taken away. They informed me of the problems with interior studs once the siding was off and explained how they were going to marry new studs next to the old studs. The only reason the garage was still standing was because the interior was held together by the tongue and groove siding! The original studs had rotted over time due to moisture which accumulated due to grade and drainage issues. They recommended what steps should be taken with landscapers to fix the situation. They worked in muddy, and confining areas between fences and neighboring buildings and the result looks terrific. In preparation for the next step, they have gotten matching paint swatches, and have discussed all the painting options. Because the garage's original construction is not perfect and alignment has been a challenge, they worked to apply the clapboards in a way that makes it look perfect.
