Everything went smooth from start to finish. Steve was very helpful in his advise as to what needed to be accomplished. We knew what to expect as there were no surprises. Steve contacted me a few days before the start date to explain the dumpster location. I was present when the dumpster was delivered and insructed the driver to plce in a different position than what Steve and I had discussed. When Steve arrived on the job that morning he called me at once to make sure I was ok with where the dumpster had been placed. Great follow up before and after completion. The foreman on the project was excellent and knowledgeable. They worked late every night and were still working when I arrived home. He took the time to talk about what was being done and was very helpful. The quality of the work was excellent. The house looks new now. Steve also recommended a painter who we used. We are very happy with the paint job and appreciate Steve's recommendation. I highly reccomend Exterior Home Improvement. I would hire them again.

We selected them from Angie’s list. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the service which we received. Everyone I contacted took three days to get back to me. But they sent someone out to my place within two business day. From the time I signed the contract, it was just two and half weeks that my roof was replaced. With other roofers it takes many months to get on your roof. No one came to look at the roof. I want to get kudos to them. They did upgrades to the roof, which others weren’t willing to do. They went above and beyond instead of just doing the job. I would use them absolutely in the future.

WOW! We needed a feasibility analysis for replacing the front porch windows in our 86-year-old home. Paul Spacco called before he came, arrived promptly and laid out for us all of our possible options. It turned out that there were too many complications involved to make it a logical decision for us. There was no pressure, only honest, knowledgeable answers to our questions. Paul is clearly rightfully proud of his product (we've used Pella in other homes) and is a great ambassador for his company and, we're sure, an excellent salesman. We strongly recommend Paul and EHI, Inc. to anyone interested in quality and the ability to make an informed decision.

Steve Smalley, the president of the company, was our point of contact for this latest job. Steve was extremely courteous and responsive to our request and came out very quickly to measure and provide a quote. Having used their company before Steve had the previous information with him from our last job which made us feel comfortable knowing we could get the same type of windows and ensure that the estimate provided previously was within range of the latest quote. The team was able to complete the job in one day vs the 2-3 that they had estimated so we were extremely pleased! The installation was done very well. Steve Smalley came out the next day to review the job and ensure we were happy with the results. We had a few minor touch ups that were needed and Steve immediately called and arranged for one of the installation team members to come by the next day to complete those items. We even had a ripped screen on one of the windows and he took the screen with him and was able to get it fixed overnight and had it replaced the next day. I also noted a small gash in one of the handles on a smaller window and after review with the installation team member I indicated not to worry about it. Well, Steve surprised us this week with a replacement window (bottom sash) to take care of the gash. Steve wanted to ensure we were completely satisfied! This is the type of service that I like to see from a company. I would absolutely refer Exterior Home Improvement to my neighbors and friends.

Everything went well with the job. They completed the work in less than one day. When I left for work they were tearing it off, when I came home, they were gone and I had a new roof! I had eight different estimates and Elbert Construction was by far the best, not just the lowest price, but in professionalism and making me feel comfortable with the work I needed to have done. Some of the contractors caused me to feel uncomfortable about doing this type of work with their company. I didn't get that with Elbert Construction. My decision was a matter of trust (price of the roof was nice too). I didn't get a feeling of trust when going over the estimate with the other seven companies, but I did with TJ Elbert. TJ, the owner, did a great job explaining what needed done, how it would be done. He recommended putting in a ridge vent. We also talked about any hidden issues they might find once the roof was torn off. The home I had them work on was a HUD and it did have a leak in the roof. The crew found a problem with the wood around my chimney. Instead of just covering up the issue with new shingles, they fixed the problem after contacting me. I was expecting a huge additional cost for this repair. It was minimal. They replaced up to half of the trim wood on my chimney. The crew hand nailed the dimensional shingles per my request. They did a great job cleaning up after the job too. I have only found three nails in my flower beds, and a couple of small pieces of the old shingles. If you need a new roof, you can't go wrong contacting Elbert Construction. I wouldn't call anyone else to work on my roof.

We met Steve Cunningham at the Flower and Patio show. We set up an appointment for Mr.Steve Cunningham to come to our home and meet with us, he called us the day before to set a time . He arrived right on time and was very professional and knowledgeable with the products we were looking into.. We were very happy with Mr. Cunningham's presentation and the products he offered. Mr Cunningham, kept in touch with us, and anytime we needed to ask him something or had questions, he promptly returned our calls, in a timely manner. The weather was so hot, I don't know how the roofers stood the heat, but they were there everyday till it was completed. We are very pleased with our new roof and with Exterior Home Improvements . I would not hesitate to suggest to any of our family or friends to use Exterior Home Improvements and Mr. Steve Cunningham, we will definitely call them again for any home repairs in the future.

Exterior Home Improvement had installed French doors and an entry door for us. We were so satisfied with that job, we included them in getting estimates for new siding. They were very helpful by explaining the different choices they offered and included things we had not thought of. The price submitted was fair and well with in our budget and included a new garage door, painted to match the siding, and new garage door opener. After an extended period of weather delays, Exterior Home Improvement began installing. The installer was very professional and was an exceptional craftsman. He explained what he was doing, answered our questions and checked with us each day on our satisfaction. Additionally the salesman checked with us on a nearly daily basis. The work done was fantastic. The original trim had many angles. The installer carefully matched the existing design which turned out better than we expected. They were very thorough in cleaning up and carrying away debris. The overall experience was very good. The Exterior Home Improvement salesman and installer addressed and adjusted all our concerns.

I needed a quote to have some minor siding repair done. The guy came to my house on time sized the job up sounded great. Called me a few days later explaining the strategy of how he was going to quote me. Two weeks have passed, never heard from him since. Called another company out. They quoted me the same day. The work was scheduled to be done a week later.

I called to get an estimate in April. In May I called and commited to the project and was told there would be a lag in scheduling due to other jobs. I told them I needed to move up in the queue and they worked with me to get me on the scehdule sooner than anticipated. They showed up and perfomed as promised.

April 2010. Sales representative Rick showed up and promptly, looked at our current entry door system took brief measurements and discussed with us what we wanted. He provided us with some catalogs for the different door products they could install. We left the meeting with the understanding he would provide at least two quotes a quote for Masonite entry system and a quote for a Therma-Tru door entry sytem. Rick provided us with a quote for Masonite entry door systems, two styles on April 23, 2010, about a week after our meeting. While waiting for the quote I had reviewed the catalogs, did research online and stopped by another store in town that had sample doors out in the sales area. I decided that I did not like the Masonite entry door systems (call it personal choice). I called Rick back several times from April to May as my schedule allowed trying to get a quote on a Therma-Tru door entry system. I was not able to obtain a quote for anything other than the Masonite door. My last contact with this company was May 20th and was an email suggesting that the Masonite door was really the best choice for the money we could buy. While that may have been true, I did not like any of the Masonite entry door systems. I found it odd that they provided me with a catalog for a door system they could install but would not provide a quote from that catalog. I got quotes from other companies in town and had a Non-Masonite entry system installed. They did no work for us so quality of work etc cannot be commented on. I was not able to get a quote on a product that I wanted so I can?t compare price to my other quotes. I will say the entry system we purchased is very nice and we did spend more to purchase what I feel was a better product than Masonite.

Had great meeting and they provided valuable input. After our initial meeting, they didn't respond to emails. About a month later they called to follow up and by that time I had already moved forward with another contractor. Said they hadn't received my emails. Odd situation.

He came out for an estimate and originally quoted $350, but the next I spoke with him - less than 2 hours later - it increase $495. I would have hired him if the original estimate did not increase.

The overall experience was excellent. They were timely and prompt, had no surprises with these folks!

The experience with them was fine and we have used them many times. The estimates are accurate and the people who come out to do the work are respectful. They clean up and we have had good experiences. We have used them several times and we keep going back. We have had them do good things and had good experiences. They did the siding, windows, decks and roof. They do anything that is exterior. They are not the least expensive but they are not the most expensive either.

the whole process was great. I talked with 4 vendors about replacing the windows. I selected this company for their responsiveness and a feeling that they took pride in their work. Since these were futon windows, I ordered the windows and doors. Once they arrived, they met with me to schedule the visit and discuss the process. The crew arrived as promised, cleaned up after themselves every day, and were very professional.

The contractor called back, several times, saying he didn't understand what happened, why I cancelled the appt, and if I was still interested he was available. Not sure what part of "I'm no longer interested" he didn't understand. He even called again (about the 4th time) the morning of our originally scheduled appt to say he was still available. Still not interested, especially after the repeated calls. I ended up having the work done by someone with no drama, who matched the siding perfectly, got it locally the same day he needed to do the repair, and I didn't even have to special order or buy a whole box.

I did a great deal of research on fiberglass windows and decided on Marvin Windows. The window experience was actually pain free. I was afraid it would be like buying a car but it wasn't. Steve Smalley, the owner, was very professional and personable. He explained the windows, the process of installation and priced them at a cost I felt was reaonable. While the fiberglass windows are more expensive than good wood windows, the cost wasn't that much more so I decided to go with the fiberglass. The low maintenance factor was a key factor. It took about six weeks for the windows to be manufactured and shipped to Exterior Home Improvement. They called when the windows came in and scheduled an installation date. The day of installation came and the installers arrived as promised. In a day and half they had the new 9 windows installed and operating perfectly. The installers, Hillary, Terry and Alex were very professional, polite and conscientious. Their work was excellent and when they were finished they cleaned up totally. Hillary even helped my wife carry in the groceries. They were really nice people and I really like the new windows.

We decided to have our back porch enclosed and make it a three season room. Exterior Home Improvement priced the work reasonably using high quality material (Marvin Fiberglass Windows and sliding patio door), hardy plank siding, and porcelein tile flooring. We were fortunate to get Hillary, Terry and Alex , the same workers that installed our windows earlier, because they are very talented and professional. Steve, the owner, of the company was very helpful in the design and even checked on progress of the project to make sure everything was going well. Even though we changed a few things at the last minute,, the crew took it in stride and did an outstanding job. We now have a beautiful addition to our home thanks to Exterior Home Improvement.

The morning of the appointment, the agent called to state he could not make it by the noon appointment, and he needed to push it back to 3 pm. When he arrived, he was very professional in conducting business at the time and proceeded to look at the work to be done and was presented with another company's written estimate per our insurance carrier's directions as they had already approved it. The Elbert agent stated that estimate was within their figuring and they would get back to us within a few days with their written estimate and contract. . He even took a piece of shingle so they could match it as close to the roof as possible. I offered my email and he stated he would email me a written quote with a day or two. When I asked the agent how long between the contract and the actual work being done, I was advised that the work could be done within a week of us signing. Needless to say, as of today, July 8, we have not received a quote or further contact that there was a problem via email, telephone, or regular mail.

The installation for the doors took approximately 3 days, and that was with the extra dry walling that was needed to fix the problems our builder made.

The job went well, completed tear out and installation.

We purchased 23 new windows to replace our old wood windows. Overall the installation job went very smooth, the workers cleaned up each day. The job took approximately 5 working days. They stayed with the job from start to finish.

Start to finish went smooth, the job was complete within 7 days of the start day. Considering the rain we had during the last 8 weeks, the job was complete within a reasonable time frame.
