I am thoroughly impressed with Sam Dougherty's knowledge, attention to detail and enthusiasm. Customer service is right on point with quick responses and prompt arrival. I had no idea how to proceed with protecting my new deck. Not only did Sam tell me the best course of action he explained why. Additionally he told me how to maintain the deck to keep it looking good. I'm a senior and have had lots of work done on my previous properties. I can say without hesitation that I've never had a contractor provide such detailed information and excellent quality work. I highly recommend Dougherty Painting and Power Washing.

We had a paint job performed last summer on our very very large home which was in need of a repaint job. My wife and I have only the highest accolades for the work relationship, communication, and quality of materials used. Professional is the word that exudes thorough our complete experience with this company. We have had many many compliments on the exterior paint job from our friends and family. It has been a year now and the job has held up and continues to please us. Several friends have asked us who painted our house and we always are more than happy to tell them of our experience. We highly recommend them for even a difficult house or painting project. As I mentioned before, our house was not simple, It has two full floors with full attic and basement and it is very large and high, making this a job indeed. We had several other painters that had checked the job out and ran away in fear. However, this was no problem whatsoever for this company. They are good workers and professionals that are great at what they do!

Sam was very professional and courteous. He maintained excellent communication throughout the entire project and was always on time. The work performed was of high quality and the work site was kept very clean after each workday as well as after the job was completed. I would highly recommend his painting services to others and wouldn't hesitate to have him come back for additional work if needed in the future. Would like to post before and after pictures of his work if possible, but might not be able to through the site. My deck was re-stained with a solid color from a red/brown to an ash-grey/brown color. The coverage was excellent and the previous stain cannot be seen.

He worked so hard. He is so neat and considerate and takes such pains to ensure he does a good job. I appreciated that he worked around weather and kept in touch with us and called us at least 10 times, careful to be sure he had the right stain color and was careful around our plants.
