The technician arrived promptly, and announced who he was and who he was with. The technician and his assistant immediately started winterizing the irrigation system, which only took a matter of minutes. I appreciated the fact that I was billed afterwards via US mail rather than paying at the time of service. The company automatically added an Angie's List discount without me saying a word. Overall, it was a prompt, quick, thorough experience. I plan on using this company every season.

About a $1,000 more than other companys and less warranty on equipment and labor. They were great about responding to initial email and the slowest of other companies to provide quote. They were the only company to follow up after the quote.

It went well. They walked around the yard with me and looked at the existing irrigation system. Where I needed changes and need up grades, they gave me quotes.

They came out and were able to determine the problem. I have yet to see any leakage since. He checked the settings of the heads, as well.

The provider was very professional, thorough & answered all my questions. He even took extra time to show me how to program advanced settings.

I hope Custom Touch Irrigation was fine. They said everything was fine that I eventually will need a new pump within a year. They performed fine.

I used Angie's List to solicit quotes from 3 top-rated irrigation companies. Custom Touch Irrigation stood out because Rich Williams listened carefully to the challenges I've had with keeping certain sections of my lawn adequately watered. He then designed a custom system to meet those challenges. This included creating a separate zone to water a ~4-foot wide stretch of grass with street and sidewalk on either side. This portion of my lawn dries out quickly, so by creating a separate zone, I will be able to apply extra water to this zone without overwatering other portions of my lawn. I have another 2-foot wide strip of grass alongside my driveway that also dries out quickly. Another company told me all they could do would be to install sprayers but more than half of the water would land on my driveway. Rich recommended an underground drip system that was an upcharge but it is totally working. He also recommended a Weathermatic irrigation controller than automatically adjusts the amount of irrigation based on the weather. Rich did a fantastic job explaining everything. Their quote was slightly higher than the other company that I liked but I feel the extra expense was worth it, given the customization. CTI's office staff (Amanda) worked well with me on scheduling the work. The wait time to have the installation done was a bit longer than they originally thought (about 4 weeks instead of 3 weeks) but I understand this is always variable due to weather, etc. Once scheduled, they were very punctual and they completed this large project in one very long day (finishing up about 7 pm). The staff was very professional and cleaned up the yard well when the work was done. Its been a month since the project was completed and my lawn is beautifully green. The grass is growing into the tracks where they dug up the lawn. The only problem I have now is that the moles love my lawn! Overall, I was very satisfied with CTI's work.

I have no idea if the sprinkler heads are adjusted to provide adequate coverageor if the run time provides enough water delivery. We have a very small lot with only 4 zones and the technician did run all 4 zones. I expected a better evaluation about the run times, I still have a large area in the front yard that does not seem to be doing well. He did recommend moving a sprinkler head and possibly adding another one, but did not provide details. He also dug and straightened a sprinker head near the street that was severly leaning. The technician seemed very knowledgable and professional and I am changing my opening and closing over to Custom Touch Irrigation, but I was a little disappointed in what I got for my money on the Big Deal.

The technician was punctual and helpful. He suggested capping off one of the irrigation heads where we were accumulating too much water in the yard. He suggested eventually replacing a couple of other heads that are very old in our yard but told us that it was not necessary to do at this time. He was very knowledgeable, helpful, polite, and not pushing to sell us anything or increase our cost in any way. We felt that $55.00 for a sprinkler tune-up and water consultation was very reasonable. We would absolutely use them again and plan to do so when we winterize our system in a few weeks.

They were quick to get the extra work scheduled. The cost was appropriate for the work being completed. They were on time and very professional. They tried to limit the amount of damage to our yard, and placed the sod back in place when completed. Within a couple weeks of installation the area that was lacking water, is not back looking green again. The staff was very friendly and prompt in completing this work. The technician was very polite as well as professional Our year to year experience with the provider has been excellent, and I would highly recommend this vendor.

They did a great job. Would definitely recommend them. We use them each year to turn on, off, and service our irrigation system. Highly recommend.

I called the company about two weeks ago because a landscaping service had cracked at least one irrigation pipe. About four hours after the scheduled appointment time on Tue, 8/27/2013, Travis from Custom Touch Irrigation rang the doorbell. I wouldn?t have known that it was Travis unless I had asked him. He didn?t seem too eager to introduce himself. He then spent about 20 minutes fixing the leaky pipe. As we walked across the bone-dry front lawn, I pointed out a puddle elsewhere and asked whether this could also be a leaky pipe. His response was: ?Oh, that has nothing to do with me.? We then spent another 20 minutes discussing the existing system and micro-drip irrigation, which I had used in Pittsburgh. (I just moved to Indianapolis.) He promised he would have someone get in touch with me to quote a completely new system (which never happened), since he thought the existing one was too old. Two days later, I got the bill in the mail: $95. I called the office and asked why the charge was so high. The friendly lady told me that it was 40 minutes of work time, travel charges and parts. (Later, my wife told me that the company told her that it does not charge for consultations, which is what part of the visit was. But, Travis seemed to consider any and all time spent on the property as ?work.?) On Saturday, with the puddle in the front lawn unchanged, I got a shovel and dug for 20 minutes. By then, I had unearthed the leak between two connecting pipes. I saw the water dripping out from the leak and within a day I had a very small pond. I called the company back, related the whole story, including how Travis blew me off. The lady was very understanding and said they would send someone to repair the leak. On Tuesday, 9/10/2013, Jed came to the house while I was at work, replaced a broken sprinkler head in a section that I have not been using, and called my wife that the leak wasn?t really in the front lawn, but elsewhere. He also had taken it on himself to shovel all the dirt back into the small pond. After the pond (predictably) did not disappear, I called the company today, related the story and asked that they come out and fix the leak in the front lawn at no charge. After checking with Julie in billing, Karen called back and said they would waive the travel charges, but that I still would have to pay for time and materials. I then politely declined any further service and got another irrigation company. I think the ladies in the office are great, and billing is highly efficient. (I already have the second bill: $84.) However, it is not the ladies in the office who come to fix your problem. It is employees who don?t pay attention to the evidence at hand, ignore what the customer says, and don?t really bother to investigate the root cause(s) for a leak. I know that you don?t need a PhD to work for an irrigation company, but you need to have a little bit more sense than nature gave cabbage.

Tech was in time, office called ahead, prepared and efficient. Each of the s Sprinkling heads were tested and adjusted as needed.

Service provider was prompt and punctual. He identified all deficiencies and provided solutions that were not expensive.

I considered (3) lawn irrigation companies for this job. From the onset the sales coordinator (Mark), office personnel, and field installation supervisor (Nick) were very professional, and extremely responsive to questions and other inquiries. Mark would respond to questions during late evening, and was very prompt on sending proposal and returning calls. Nick seemed very knowledgable about the product, and exudes high professionalism (and concern for the customer). Beyond seeking installation of a complete lawn irrigation system, I was also seeking a provider that could be counted on to continue in business and provide best in class service (after installation). I'm extremely pleased with the selection of Custom Touch, and will utilize them for spring irrigation turn-on and winterization. The installation was performed on one of the hottest days of the year, and the crew provided a professional service and limited damage to yard. Nick, installation supervisor, is extremely knowelegable and exudese high professionalism. Installation went well. I would select Custom Touch Irrigation again, and plan on using them for all service and maintance to the lawn irrigation system.

It went great. They installed the system without messing up the existing lawn. They also avoided the invisible fence. The only bad thing was that I'd originally ordered the system the prior fall, but they had so many orders that they were not able to get to mine until spring, but it was worth the wait. They arrived when they said they would and brought plenty of manpower to complete the job in one day. They took the time to explain how to set and change the timers. I have used them again since the for winter shut down and spring startup of the system. I would recommend them to anyone. They are a little more expensive than some of the other quotes I got (I check with 3 other places) but I they were worth it.

They've been great - they're prompt, friendly, show up when they're supposed to. They've made suggestions for improvements in our system set up and simplified the programming so that we can understand and adjust it. We're very pleased with them and definitely plan to continue using them.

We purchased a big deal for a sprinkler tune up ($49). However, we had a problem with a zone sticking on. The problem was that the value box was completely hidden under about 2 feet of dirt! They had to come out several times to find the value box and then needed to replace two values. I was happy that they didn't charge more in addition to the $49. This was a difficult job and I appreciate that they didn't give up. My sprinkler system in over 20 year old and needs constant maintenance.

They are wonderful and outstanding. They have been prompt, reliable amenable. Their price is reasonable. They really know what they are doing. They are accessible. They are prompt to respond if we call them. They have a good office staff. My husband has gone up there and they have been able to provide for him replacement parts that he felt he was able to do the repair on. They were willing to discuss that with him. The owner is excellent to work with. He is professional and very much a gentleman.

VERY responsive to my calls and the service people are always very professional. They do the job more quickly than I could have imagined, moved 3 sprinkler heads before I even knew they made it to the backyard! I highly recommend Rich Williams and his crew.

I previously used another irrigation company but as a result of my purchase on Angie's List, I have now switched to Custom Touch due to their outstanding customer service, honesty and responsiveness. They are very price competitive. I would strongly recommend them.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out very well. I used them twice. The first time was 8/7/13 for the Big Deal and then again on 8/22/13. I've also talked to them on the phone about coming out next year. I had them do some other work as well. They quoted me to move the heads and I let them do that work. They were reasonable. It was an additional $175. I will use them next year to blow out the system. I was very pleased with the service.
