I had three estimates and Bullseye was the best for what we wanted. I called and spoke with Ryan Householder. He sat and talked to me and listened to all that I wanted. He gave me the estimate and he just gave me the impression that I could trust him and his company. They came out while I was at work and when I came home I was amazed at how beautiful it was. I have since got several compliments from my neighbors on how good it looks.

My double drive gate was in great disrepair, and I assumed it would need to be replaced. I asked Ryan Householder to give me several estimates, including replacing the entire fence. He gave me one other option: making several repairs and adjustments that would give me several more years with my current fence. While another bid had come in slightly lower, I was so impressed with the alternatives offered I went with Bullseye, and I couldn't be more pleased. The two-man crew was pleasant, quick and professional. They adjusted two gates, replacing two rotting boards and the old, bent hardware with new hinges, latches and cane bolts. An expanding tree in the corner of the yard had pushed out a section of the fence, so they installed a new post and relocated the panel. My neighbor first recommended Bullseye to me, and I will happily do the same in the future. It was a pleasure doing business with them!
Description of Work: Adjusted the double-driveway side gates which lead to the fenced backyard - they replaced two rotted boards and the the fence hardware, including hinges and cane bolts; Replaced the hinge and latch on a second, side gate; Relocated a corner panel on the fence to accommodate a growing tree, installing an additional post and some planks to "bump out" the fence.

Ryan came to our place on a weekend for the estimate - we couldn't find any other company willing to work around our schedule. He was very professional and did not pressure us with choice of materials to try to sell us a big ticket item. We initially wanted chain link, but ultimately chose the ornamental fence despite its increased cost as it was the best fit given our yard. The men came out in multitudes and the fence was completed in 2-3 days (they had to come one more time for additional work). There was a mix-up with one fence detail we wanted, but they came back without argument and fixed it at their expense. We ended up with more fence than we paid for. They are not the cheapest out there, but you get what you pay for. The finished product is beautiful and we had a very pleasant experience with this company. No regrets with our choice. We probably won't use them again as they did such a good job and have such a good product that I expect the fence to last for a long time without problems.
Description of Work: 6 foot ornamental fence surrounding almost 0.75 acres of backyard. 2 foot "deer extension" on top of the fence. 3 ornamental gates. Privacy panel installation. clearing of brush along one side of the fence.

We needed to fence in the backyard of our new home for our two small dogs. Ryan came out quickly after my initial phone call in August. We discussed where it was best to put the fence in relation to lot size and other fences in the neighborhood. We also discussed the different kinds of fences (even though I was pretty sure of what kind we wanted). I felt fully informed about fences when he left. I received two other estimates but decided to go with Bullseye because I just liked the friendliness of the salespeople and felt like this was the company I'd feel most comfortable working with. We had to get approval from our homeowners association before proceeding. Once we had approval, Bullseye quickly put our job on their construction schedule. Rod came out and put in the rope line to show exactly where the fence would be and made sure position was where we wanted. Installation of the fence was a two day process. They installed the posts and then came back a few days later to install the fence. I was truly amazed how quickly they worked--the fence and 3 gates were up in about 2 hours. The picket fence was stick built not pre-made panels. Our dogs are thrilled to once again have a yard to roam free in! Several neighbors have mentioned how nice the fence looks! I would highly recommend Bullseye Fence to anyone looking to put up a fence on their property.

I was moving into a new house from a small horse farm. They actually repaired some pasture fencing at my old house and added to the split rail fencing at the new house. They did a great job. Had to come back out and move the fence line after the posts had been set because of some neighbor issues but they did it without any complaint. All in all they did a great job and I would definitely use/recommend again.

We got quotes from 3 companies for a fence for our dogs. Bullseye gave the best price and were by far the most professional. Ryan came out and helped us decide how to line up the fence so it looked right (we are on a corner lot) and how big we wanted it. We are on a corner lot and it was important to us to honor the building lines as outlined by the plot plan and Ryan was very knowledgeable about how to read it. He told me that from the date we give him the go ahead, it would take 3-4 weeks for installation. He called once to follow up and I told him we hadn't decided what to do yet. Three weeks later I called and said we were ready, and as promised they began the process. I wasn't thrilled about having to wait, but understood that it's a busy season and the rain at the start of summer put them a bit behind. I was nervous about putting down a deposit before having a set date of installation or a guarantee by date - afraid once they got my money the job would be pushed back - but that was not the case at all. Two weeks from the day I gave my deposit Rod called and came out to string up the lines. He was great at helping me make decisions about exactly how I wanted the fence. Then, 3 days later, the guys showed up, on time, and dug the post holes. They put the dirt just where I wanted it and did not leave a mess. The next day (a day earlier than I expected which was great) they completed the fence. It's gorgeous and they did a great job.

The experience was good as they worked quickly and did not leave a mess. The only "complaint" I have is that the fence was supposed to be three inches off the ground and there is a section, on a slope, that the pickets are nearly in contact with the ground so I plan on going out and trimming the bottom of the fence in this one area myself since it is relatively small.
Description of Work: Removed old fence and installed new fence, both replacement and in new areas. They came and removed the old fencing, although I don't know if the dug/pulled the posts out, and replaced with all red cedar.

The guys from Bullseye were great. Everything from the estimate to planning out the project to completion went smoothly. The sales rep was more than happy to work with us when my husband asked to decrease the spacing between the boards. (Yes there was an increased price for more lumber but it was worth it to have privacy and a breeze!) I was worried about a potentially tricky situation - about 6" of a beloved tree was over the property line and this required attaching the fence to a utility pole - but there was no need for concern. About a week after installation it became apparent that an odd gap (formed because the fence is straight and the utility pole is crooked) would need to be adjusted, but all I had to do was pick up the phone and the project manager himself came out to take care of things a few days later. The crew was professional and FAST - they were able to come out a few days early and had the fence complete in two days. Wow! One crew member, seeing that I had picked up a candy wrapper (that came from the neighbors, not the crew) offered to throw it away from him. It was a small gesture, but it spoke volumes. The fence is beautiful, and my husband and I are delighted. Thanks for a great job Bullseye! If we ever need another fence, we're calling you!

Ryan was scheduled to be there at 9:30 and called about 9:20 to say that he would be about 5 mins late due to an earlier bid running late. This was a welcomed surprise as I don't think many companies would have called for only 5 mins. Ryan was professional and informative. He gave good advice on staining an existing fence. The bid was much higher than we expected but Ryan did say that we could not get the lower pricing because it was not a huge job. He was a nice guy, ultimately the price was a bit higher ($1700 total for 60 linear feet of 6 ft shadowbox) than what we felt would be fair. We will do the job ourselves for less than half the price. We had a positive experience with the company, just not a fit with our budget at this time.

They were extremely professional in all aspects. We met with salesman who covered aspects that we hadn't considered and covered our concerns. We met with the site supervisor who confirmed the specifics and called in the utility clearances. They arrived as stated an had the old fence removed within minutes with an impressive crew of eight. Each man worked in unison like a "well oiled machine." We returned a few hours later to find all posts set in concrete and in perfect alignment. After setting they returned and installed three full size 2" X 4" cedar stringers and individually installed each 6" cedar board at an alarming pace. They left no mess and I would highly recommend them for any fence work. Just see the difference in their work when you spot their Bullseye seal on a quality fence job!
Description of Work: They removed, disposed of all debris, and replaced 145' of 6' tall cedar fencing with scallop cut "Board on Board" style with French Gothic posts. They did an excellent job. They were very clean and were done in just a couple of days. We highly recommend them.

The tree which dropped the branch on our fence needed to be removed, so we had to delay work until that happened. Once the tree was removed, they did take awhile getting back to me and the email responses that I got were very brief. The work itself was fantastic though - the new fence blends in flawlessly and the gate looks awesome. Not only that, but my husband mentioned that we were wanting to get rid of the old rusty basketball pole next to our driveway, and they took it down and hauled it away for us at no charge. *two thumbs up*

We contacted the company and the sales person called to set up an appointment. He was a few minutes late for the appointment, but had called ahead to explain his delay. He was vey curteous and helpful, explaining in detail (with pictures) the various fence styles, materials and costs. He gave us plenty of information with which to make our decision and called one week later see if we were ready to proceed. He did not pressure us but assured of his willingness to assist, even return if it would be helpfull. The gentlemant who came to set the stakes to position the fence was also very polite and helpful. In fact, to our surprise he suggesed a change which saved us $120.00 from what we had already agreed to pay. The work was completed in our absence and when we returned we were extremely pleased. The fence is of very high quailty lumber, the workmanship is superb and the yard was completely cleaned up with the dirt from the post holes piled behind our shed where we had requested.
Description of Work: Installed a shadow- box privacy fence. The fence runs from the back corner of the house eleven feet to a corner post and then 120 feet to the end of our property. There is a double gate in the eleven foot section for access to the back yard.

I think the fence is good quality, and they did a pretty good job putting it in, they were prompt, and very curteous. i think the biggest problem is in communication within the company, and things could have gone better. However, they did try to make it right for me, and I appreciate that very much.
Description of Work: I had a tan color vinyl picket fence put in around my small rear yard. I was given an estimate and given advice about the type of fencing and prices available, which was helpful. They came again to do precise measurements, and to discuss the exact layout. I emphasized that I had small pets, and wanted to make sure there were no large gaps, which they said they would be able to do. They also were able to take away the extra dirt and an old wood pile in the yeard. They promptly installed the fence as scheduled. Everyone was very nice. After the fence was in though, I noticed there were large gaps around the fence posts where the dirt had settled in. Over the course of several weeks, I tried to leave messages with the office, and others about it, but it took them a long time and a lot of calls to get it filled in. Then I noticed the cat was escaping through another large gap. I had called a couple times over the course of a few weeks about that too, and I was told they would be out the next week. Three weeks later, my cat was out in the cold all night, and after a hysterical call they came out the next day and put in another vinyl piece to close the gap. It was not very pretty. I feel like they maybe needed to do a better job in the measuring or something. Also the fence caps are always blowing off, and if I had known, I would have bought heavier ones.

Excellent. We had our first appointment and they took measurements, verified what we wanted and wrote up the estimate. After accepting the estimate, they came out one more time to verify everything and lay things out. On work day one (after we scheduled the work), they came out removed the old fence and posts, then set the new posts. Two days later (they had to let the concrete cure for the posts) they installed everything else. The crew was great and did excellent work. We're quite happy to have our new fence, and I think it looks great!
Description of Work: Tore out and hauled away existing privacy fence. Installed 255' of 48" high scalloped 1x4 spaced (2" gap) Western Red Cedar on 4"x4" Eastern Red Cedar posts. This included one (1) removable section, one (1) 48" walk gate, and one (1) 8' double drive gate.

I sent them two requests through Angie's List, both using Angie's List email, and never heard back from them. Since this was surprising not to hear anything, I contacted them on phone, and they said they would look into the fact that they were not getting my emails. The only reason I gave them a call, and didn't give up on them, was due to the fact that so many people gave them great reviews. I got three quotes, and the reason I went with them was a combination of Ryan's explanation was very thorough, very professional, and gave me his phone number if I ever had any questions or concerns. He seemed to actually care of about the process of installing the fence, instead of just making a sale.
Description of Work: We had an existing fence, and needed the fence to be extended. They used some of our existing black chain link fence, and tied in their new black chain link fence, and you can not tell where the two meet. Very nicely done. They also added about 10 feet of a wooden fence, that connected to the black chain link fence.

The guys at Bullseye were very professional from start to finish; Ryan met me at my home to walk the property and listen to the scope of the project. This was a very large lot and it involved tearing down old chain link as well as clearing out some brush areas for the new wood fence. His price was reasonable and he even matched a little lower offer from another company. I am happy I went with Bullseye because once they started the work - they were outstanding. All of the crew cleaned up the grounds after they were finished and they left the property looking great. I also had a tight deadline and they were willing to squeeze me in the middle of a very busy month. Quality work and professional guys.

I called Bullseye and we set up an appointment within a couple of days. The salesman walked the yard with us and got approximate measurements to give us a quote. After deciding to go with this company, they called and set up a time for the project manager to stake where our fenceline and gates would be put in and he told us the final cost. Our measurements from our quote were only off one foot! The fence took 2 days to complete. They cemented in the posts on one day and came back the next day and completed the picket fence we ordered. They hauled away all the dirt from the post holes and made sure everything was in good shape before they left each day.
Description of Work: Bullseye put in a 4 foot picket fence with 3 gates around our backyard. They called ahead to have all power lines marked before we met with the project manager to do the final marking of where posts and gates would be placed. They gave us the option of keeping the dirt from the post holes or they would take it away at no charge. They also gave us the option to choose the size of gates we wanted. We chose 2 different sizes to accommodate a riding lawn mower if needed.

It went extremely well. The way you wish every service call would go. Fast, efficient, polite, punctual . . . . He sent a bid via e-mail the evening after he inspected it. Because it was a small job, he did not ask for a deposit. We sent back an approval on e-mail, and he came out two days later to do the work. Then he promptly went to our neighbors and fixed their fence which had been down for 2 or 3 weeks. It was the best.
Description of Work: Something had run into our chain link fence. Ryan called back quickly, came out soon after, and two days later came and fixed it in a very short time. He reset the post with concrete, put in a new top rail and chain link. Then he rehung the gate.

Terrible. I am in sales and if a prospect chooses the competitor, you do not make negative remarks towards them or the client's choice.
Description of Work: My wife and I are buying a fence and received quotes from multiple companies. Ryan Householder came out to meet my wife and I. His customer service was not fantastic and did not take the time to explain to much to us, but it was not terrible. We ended up selecting another company due to a sale they were running. Ryan called to follow-up with us and when my wife told him we went with someone else he asked who. When she told him who we chose he got a snotty tone and said "You got a good deal because their quality is crappy." My wife was very upset at his attitude and derrogative nature. She called the office and told the office manager. The manager was very sympathetic but the damage was done.

Response from BULLSEYE FENCE DESIGN INC
On the original estimate for the members, I showed up on time, measured for the fence, sat down with them to discuss fence options and gave them a written estimate for their fence project. When I followed up with a call a week later, she told me the name of the company they decided to go with because they were having a "sale". At this point, I felt she opened the door for discussion and explained to her that our competitor uses different materials and installation procedures so that she would know why their price was less. I did not use the word "crappy". I wished her the best of luck with her fence project before leaving the conversation.
