Beck's was great to work with. They were very friendly and very professional. They replaced a chimney cap and checked to see if the chimney needed any repair work or caulking. They were very responsive and were very quick to respond. They also did a quick inspection from inside to ensure everything was in proper order.

On time and professional. Cleaned up well and did a nice job. They said I should have my chimney cap inspected and I was a bit dissappointed that they didn't have a 40ft ladder on hand to do it themselves, but other than that I have no complaints.

Wow! They were incredibly fast and incredibly clean. Gene and his assistant worked together well and had our needs solved in no time flat. The rate is reasonable for the work performed, and we got lots of good advice on chimney care and possible conversion of our gas fireplace to gas-ignition wood burning. We'll continue to use Beck's whenever the need arises.

He came on time, fitted in to my schedule with one day notice, did not make a mess with cleaning the chimney and provided a quote if or when the chimney cap fails in order to speed replacement when needed. He even picked up the paper from the driveway. Nice people.

The job is thorough and done right. The day they finished the tuck pointing it rained. They came back to inspect their work and repair the pocks made by the hail and rain. I'm glad we don't have to have this done very often, but in the future Beck's is who we will call.

Work performed was competently done. They were on time, on estimate, and very easy to work with.

Response was prompt. He came when he said he would, was very clean both in this work, and in past chimney cleaning. Price seemed high but I accepted the estimate and the charge matched the estimate.

One thing struck me in particular about this company, I was floored on how much they charged per hour. They completed one day at a extreme cost and my feelings are they charge way to much per hour. I was happy with the quality of the work but they charge so much per hour. I think they pay themselves too much per hour. I felt think they have compensated themselves far too highly for the work. I thought they would work for about 40 hours but it only ended up being about 16-32 hours.

In March the company called to remind us of the needed repair which they said they could do as soon as we got a few days of nice, warm weather. They came out a few weeks later, after first calling to check that the time was ok with us. They arrived promptly, did the work and were finished within an hour. We plan to use the company for routine inspections and cleanings.

I was very happy with the service I received. Mr. Beck and his assistant were a little early (which was ok) and they had their process down like clockwork to make sure they worked efficiently and neatly. They left no mess at all. Mr. Beck also went over some of my fireplace's features with me so that I could understand what they were for (such as the fresh air intake and the fireplace being wired for a blower) and he went over ways to start a fire while minimizing the smoke that comes back into the house until the chimney warms up. He was very nice and helpful and professional.
