The guy was here on time, was very pleasant, ... and did a thorough job of inspecting and cleaning the chimney. Thanks again!" and "He did an outside inspection prior to coming in, and noticed tree limbs hanging over the top of the chimney. I'm glad he pointed them out because I'd probably have never seen 'em!..."
Description of Work: I had a friend looking for someone to perform a chimney inspection and cleaning at the house they just purchased. I recommended Becks based on my experiences with them.

 + -1 moreBirds were making nests in our chimney. Beck's came out twice before they could place the covers because the birds are protected by law and they had to be gone before the covers could be placed. They did not charge for the first 2 calls. Finally, the birds were gone and the covers were put on. We allowed them to come on their own schedule with occurred within 1 week of the call. The covers were placed and we were sent an invoice. Great service and great value.

I got a reminder call the day before my appointment and the person (Dave) who performed the chimney sweep was there on time and very courteous. He cleaned my chimney and checked everything out and let me know when I needed to have this service performed again. He was very careful and put down cloth so nothing would get on my carpet. He was also very nice! I thought they provided great service!

 + -1 moreGreat experience. We purchased our house earlier this year and we did not have a chimney inspection done at the time of our regular home inspection. We called to have Mr. Beck inspect our chimney before using it and he found no problems. There was a $75 call charge but he saved us from spending $ for a chimney sweep that we didn't need. Thank you!

Description of Work: It has been a very long time since I used Beck's but they are great. I don't remember the price but I do remember they were very responsive, nice and professional. I have recommended them to several people and everyone had a positive experience with this company. I very rarely use my fireplace but when I do start using it again I will definately have Beck's out here 1st.

 + 1 moreI used to use their services all the time. They have always been great with us. I don?t use them anymore since I switched from a wood burner to gas. They were really good when Gene Beck was there, but I don?t know if he still owns the company or not. Their price was right in line with everybody else. If I had the wood burner, then I would have used them in the future too.

 + 0 moreIt was easy to schedule, the price was as expected and the work was done professionally. I have used them before and will use them again in the future.
Description of Work: He did some light tuck ointing and sealed the chimney roof joint. Also repaired the pan flashin and relaced the storm collar. All things to keep water out. He also cleaned our dryer vent while he was here.
