ANIMAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS INC

Cory came out the day I called and found that the racoon had damaged the attic fan on the roof and gained entry there. He set up a trap and blocked everything off so that no animal could enter and if it was still in the attic it would be trapped trying to exit. As it happened, the racoon had left for the day and I heard it two days later trying to return! I let Cory know when the insurance adjuster was to come, and Cory met him to be sure everything would be accounted for. As soon as I had the go-ahead from the insurance agent, I called Cory to do the repair work. He and his crew were here two days later, cleaning out all the attic insulation, disinfecting the attic, blowing in new insulation, and replacing the attic fan. Excellent and friendly crew. They made sure to keep everything clean both inside at attic entry and outside in the yard.

Prior to coming out the company gave pricing for services: $185 service call-inspection/trap set up (less 10 per cent as Angies List customer), $65 each animal removed Cory and crew came out and determined there was indeed a raccoon down in the chimney. They placed a humane trap on the chimney and explained that they would be back to check the trap the next day or I should call if a raccoon was caught in the trap. As it turned out there were two raccoons captured. Cory indicated that to prevent future invasions, I needed to replace the chimney cap plus repair crown coat to chimney crown due to water damage. The pricing for these services was not cost compared. Cory was excellent about follow up and checking/resetting the traps. Work done quickly.

Cory quickly found where the squirrel was getting in and put a trap over it for one week. He installed some metal plates at the end of our gutters, because the squirrels were using them to get up under the roof decking. We haven't heard any sounds from our attic since the trap was installed, even though no animals were actually caught.

Not well, the critter was never caught, months went by before the trap was picked up. I was surprised when I received a bill for $185. Very poor service, the trap was never rebaited. I checked the trap every day as I was told, which was right outside my door to make sure the animal wouldn't suffer if it was caught. When I called regarding the bill I received the man I talked to was very rude, it became a he said she said, I said I would pay $65 but not anymore...... I remember that was the price being quoted. The price would've been more if they had got an animal but they didn't. I felt very threatened and bullied, not a good feeling for a sr citizen. Nothing was ever written down, unfortunately, most businesses I have dealt with give you a quote on paper and then a final bill for services rendered. I'm a widow, 72 years old and I rely on Angie's list for many things. This is the first time I've ever had a problem.

It was done quickly and efficiently with clean up all done in two days.

It went WONDERFULLY! Cory was extremely knowledgeable, professional, personable, and reassuring. The service was spot-on and the repairs were better than expected. I would call him again in a heartbeat if ever we have a similar situation. The amount paid was very reasonable for setting the trap in a very difficult area and repairing the animal's entry point (we had attempted the repair a few years ago--obviously not as effectively!).

Everything went extremely smoothly, I contacted Animal Management Systems after hearing and seeing a squirrel in my attic. I had an inspection scheduled within a couple days and Cory was out to perform an inspection and find the point of entry for the squirrel. He set up a couple traps to capture anything trying to enter/exit the attic (for humane removal/relocation), and set up a time to install attic gutters to prevent another animal from chewing its way in. The Cory and his team got the work finished in just a few hours, and did everything along the way to keep us informed and happy. I will definitely come back to Animal Management Systems if any other problems ever arise.

My husband and I had started hearing noises in the walls and in the attic: noises that would be exciting in a Victorian haunted house, much less exciting in our circa 1990 home that we're confident is poltergeist-free. We checked Angie's List for reviews and called Animal Management Systems. Cory went above and beyond from the start by coming out and setting traps in the middle of truly horrendous weather. I would never expect anyone to work outdoors in those conditions, but I sure appreciate the effort. He and Jason located several entry points and determined our problem was fox squirrels. After setting some initial traps to make sure everything was out and removing one long-since-mummified squirrel from the attic (thoroughly fascinating if you like science and aren't particularly squeamish), the guys repaired the damage and installed drip edging to help deter further squirrelly breaking-and-entering. They even repaired a spot that had been previously repaired by a different contractor but inadequately caulked. It's been eight months, and I'm happy to report that my house is still quiet and squirrel-free. As we live on a wooded lot, I'm sure the quiet won't last forever, but I'll definitely call Animal Management Systems the next time we have bushy-tailed uninvited guests.

Working with Cory and his team was a pleasure! :) They were responsive and courteous. Within the first 24 hours they had captured most of the chipmunks and moles. And they came back in less than a week to repair the places that the red squirrel had been using to enter my crawl space.

Excellent experience. Cory called the day before my appointment to let me know what time he would be by. He & Zach arrived on time as scheduled. Cory determined that it wasn't moles causing my problem, but a raccoon! Cory was nice enough not to charge me a service call. I will definitely be calling this company the next time I have an issue!

WOW... AMAZING !! They did what other similar services said they would, but didn't ; they got rid of my yard varmints and garden destroyers !! I am an extremely happy and beyond thrilled... I'm not kidding, my mulch beds went from the wild kingdom to absolute peace and quite (no more chewing on plants, eating bulbs or digging holes). They set the traps for 10 days and came back 3-4 times during that period to remove any captures and place new traps. Way to go Team Cory !!

The sealing of our home to prevent rodents entering seems to have worked. However, the bird nest prevention has not worked at all...the problem is actually worse. The birds are building nests on the ledges that Animal Management installed (see photos). On May 20, 2016, I contacted "Cory" at Animal Management, leaving a message for Cory to return my call; at 1:09PM Cory returned my call...I explained the situation, with the end result Cory stating he would stop by next week to determine the problem/solution. Cory did not show. On June 3, 2016, I again called Cory, leaving a message. Cory returned my call the same day...Cory denied that he committed to visiting our home last week, however, stated he was very busy and would make it out this week; Cory also stated because there were now eggs in the nests, he would not be able to remove the nests (which I completely understood and agreed). At this point in the discussion Cory stated there would be a charge to further fix the problem..I became very angry and advised Cory under NO circumstances would I agree to pay any further funds for a job that was clearly not done correctly the first time; Cory tried to tell me the previous quote/job was to specifically remove and prevent "Sparrows nests" and nothing else. I made it clear this was completely inaccurate, and in fact, the quote was for $885 snd stated nothing about Sparrows nests; the quote and invoice stated, " Bird proofing / inside ledges, custom fabricate slopes for 4 columns (material 1" X 6" cedar smooth side exposed, caulk, prime & paint material installed, clean off bird waste from tops of columns porch area." This is EXACTLY what is stated in the quote. A second quote was provided on May 22nd for the amount of $250, stating the following: "Animals Removed - Nest of sparrows $65," so I was charged an additional amount to remove the sparrow nest. Further, upon completion of the job I received an invoice on June 10, 2015 stating the following: "BIRD PROOFING/INSIDE LEDGES **SEE CARBON WORK ORDER** (the carbon work order details are in the above statement). The conversation was heated, however, Cory stated he would come to our home the week of June 6, 2016 and advise. More to come.

I called late in afternoon when I noticed chipmunks entering the crawl space. They came out the next day to set up the traps. Returned two days later to remove the traps and block the entry points. One entry point sealed by installing a metal piece over the hole and other entry point blocked by using a zip tie to better secure the wire mesh already in the space. I was pleased with how quick the problem was solved.

They were very professional and knowledgeable. In addition to my problem with mice, they checked the entire house, finding a birds nest in the attic that had been accumulating for a few years, a birds nest in a side vent and indications of bat droppings in the front gable. I would absolutely use Animal Management Systems in the future - they did an outstanding job!

The provider was very professional and on time even though he was also doing an interview with Angie's List the day of the work. I called him at 9 AM and he was able to get to my house and remove the raccoon the day of the call.

Corry and crew from AMS arrived promptly for the scheduled inspection of the house to identify animal sounds in our attic. His inspection was thorough and professional. Based on the inspection, he placed poison to correct the immediate problem of mice in my attic and recommended long term correction action be sealing up access points for rodents in the exterior of my house. We selected a caulk color that closely matched the house trim. Cory and crew arrived a week or so later as scheduled to complete the exterior work. Again, the crew was very professional, diligent and completed the work in a quality manner.

Cory and his crew were timely, professional and thorough. He went above and beyond, explaining how the animals had gotten in and removing the small tree the animals were likely using as a "ladder" to enter my home. He was gracious when the neighbors turned out to see the mother raccoon and her babies too! Cory even came back a day later when we reported scratching at the temporary patch and removed another nest in our attic with more babies. Cory coached us in what to look for in spring when the raccoons will be looking to nest again. Even though we offered to pay for the tree removal and the second call, Cory graciously threw that in at no additional charge. When the work was completed, everything was clean and in its' proper place. Should we ever suspect another animal in our home, we will definitely call Cory! Note: The grand total above included all of the services provided including animal removal and repairs.

Per our agreement I would remove some of the boards on the outside deck that covered the area where the raccoons were entering the house to provide his workers with access to the area so they could install the barrier. The workers were scheduled to come in a couple of days to dig down below grade next to the house and install a welded wire barrier to prevent access. They would then backfill where the dirt was removed to finish the installation. Similar work had been done by them previously on an adjoining area but the coons just found an untreated area that I had decided not to cover with a barrier at that time and gained access that way. Upon removal of the deck boards, however, I discovered a very different environment under the deck than what we had expected and based our plans around. Unlike the area just outside the deck, the area under the deck was anywhere from 1-2 feet below grade so there would be no digging required to get down and install the barrier, and dirt would need to be brought in to backfill up to grade after the wire barrier was installed. Also, due to the extra clearance below the overhang area that was the problem, I felt that I could create an effective barrier by another method by installing some solid wood over the opening under the area where the entrance was made. I called Cory with the news that the area under the deck was not what we expected and asked if I could renegotiate the contract to do the remaining work myself. He was very agreeable to that, agreed that my approach would work, and said any time someone could do the work themselves and save some money he was all for it. His original willingness to let me take up the deck boards and repair the deck itself was an indication of his willingness to work with his customers, and his willingness to renegotiate our contract to cover just the call and consultation at a very reasonable rate was further evidence of an outstanding attitude towards working with his customers. Based on two experiences with Cory and his company I highly recommend him and would definitely call him if I have any further problems with animals. In my conversations with hiim it is very clear that he is very experienced and really knows his business. He has also been very fair with me during our transactions and appears to want to develop a reputation that will generate repeat business.

I contacted Stephanie McClung via telephone after several nights of not sleeping because I was hearing creaking noises in the attic, and an occasional scratching noise. She was quite helpful via telephone, yet they were very busy and could not get to me for a day or two. I would definitely call them again, but as it turned out, I got another local animal control company to come the next morning, and it turned out to be only a couple of mice, after a thorough investigation of the attic, roof, and crawl. Problem has been resolved with a few days of Decon. (Spot on ceiling was not animal urine as I had feared, but my son had thrown a sticky item up there and peeled it off, leaving a mark and didn't mention it! Creaking is because my house is meat-locker cool and it is miserably hot outside, I think). So happy it wasn't a worse problem! I would definitely call this company again if I did have a major issue and hope I never do.

i'm just really pleased with his prompt responsiveness. He is very knowledgeable and genuinely cares about getting the job done.

Corey is excellent. Very informative, cost conscious, knows his business and has a great sense of humor. Trapping went well and the fence is perfect. Corey fixed my deck and did a great job cleaning up. I even found my landscaping in better condition than I left it for Corey. I recommend him for any removal/trapping of forest critters. This is also a family owned business which I think is wonderful too. Great price and magnificent work. Recommend him any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

I contacted Animal Management Systems to remove a possum or possums I believed were living under a dog pen in my backyard attached to a single car garage. I was given the price to set traps and cost for animal removal if applicable. Mr. McClung set the traps within a couple of days of my call. After a week nothing was caught and coming home one night I noticed the traps had been turned so that no animal could get under the dog pen. He called me the next day to tell me that nothing was trapped and that he had turned the traps so no animals could get under the dog pen. He said he would be able to put a barrier in that would last for about 5 years to keep any animals from digging under the dog pen in the future. I thought the price was reasonable and he did the job within a couple of days. He dug around the dog pen and buried what I believe is called 'carpenter cloth' a type of heavy wire around the dog pen and firmly attached the top of the wire to the bottom of the pen, put the dirt back neatly and replanted the few plants I had growing around it. I thought it was a great job and there was no mess left behind. Mr. McClung was very professional and was prompt in returning my phone calls. He only charged for setting the traps and putting in the barrier as I was initially quoted when I contacted the company. I would definitely use this company again without a doubt.

We are very happy with the results. Cory is very prompt and professional and is knowledgeable about his work. We will definitely call him again if we have more animal issues.

Cory and his team were great. They removed a raccoon from inside our roof (approx. $200) and then repaired both holes in the roof that the raccoon had chewed for entry ($400). Very quick and efficient -- and pleasant to work with.
