Aaron's Extreme Clean

I bought the Angie"s List coupon for this company. I was completely annoyed with the responsiveness and with the fact that the coupon stated "entire house"....The extra ducts added up to a considerable extra cost that I feel simply wasn't addressed well by either Angie's List or Mark. Mark argued with me about the price and his count always came to a different count than mine. I think he is sincerely trying but needs to get his act together. AND open a better line of communication with Angie's List.

Did a very good job. Some of the spots came back lightly, but this was the first cleaning in 10 years

Charged more for additional services than we had anticipated. Very quick in-and-out with little communication and no particular care to the job. While carpet was cleaner when he left than when he arrived, it was not as clean as had been expected. In fairness to the contractor, the carpet is fairly old and will never look "new" again; however, it didn't get nearly as clean as we had thought would be the case. Overall, it seemed that the goal of the visit for the contractor was to do just enough to justify getting paid, and then to get out as quickly as possible and on to the next job.

It was a while ago that I had this service performed, but I just don't remember feeling like I got the best deal or the service was the best. I would not use this provider again, although the man who came was very nice.

It went pretty well. There was a noticeable difference to the quality of air in the the house. The only thing that I didn't like was that some of the vents in the ceiling weren't attached properly after the cleaning, and there were finger and hand prints on my ceiling where the vents are.

The service rep was punctual and professional. He thoroughly cleaned each duct and vent in the home. I had recently moved to this home and this was the first time having carpets cleaned here. The carpets are off-white in color. I was a little disappointed in how quickly the small pre-treated "spots" reappeared. However, I did not pay for the carpet protector he had recommended. Overall I was pleased with the service.

The cleaner was very likeable and professional. He treated our items respectfully, moved big items as needs and asked that we move any valuable items. The carpets got clean but I was slightly disappointed in the overall improvements. The high traffic areas still seemed a bit matted and dingy and I was hoping for that "brand new" look and feel. Other than the high traffic areas teh carpet looked great.

I found out when the truck drove up to my place promptly as I expected that this was a one-man operation and he really went to work and got the job done. He made a special effort to get grease and an area that had been flooded attended to, As he got to the lower level he noted I had a certain swivel chair that was looking a bit worn and forlorn (from constant use) and offered to clean it as well and gave me a very reasonable price. I accepted that and it really brought the dhair back to life. I appreciated that. I would certainly use this company again. He was prompt, thorough, and professional.

Did ok. Was not able to get out as much of the traffic area stains as I had hoped.

It started off slow, I bought one of the Angie's list special packages, three rooms for $79.00. After calling him several times I got him to come out....Of course had to bribe saying I would have him do some extra stuff do to the distance to my house. He came out did a great job. The only thing is he only did one side of my couch cushion. I like to flip them but when I did wow...the other side was still a mess. The price was about what you would pay without the Angie's list deal once everything was said and done.

Mark had the flu and had to reschedule the first appointment. When he came on the rescheduled date, he was on time and professional. I explained that I wanted additional square footage and spot-treatment added to my Angie's List Big Deal and he accommodated my request. He asked what the stains were and I explained that they were pet stains. He attempted to remove the stains in various ways, none of which worked. In fact, the stains became darker and had a gooey, toothpaste-like substance coming up. He asked if I had used anything to get the stains up myself. I had previously used a general, over-the-counter carpet cleaner and followed the directions. He eventually gave up trying to get the stains out. I hoped the carpet would look better after it dried, but it did not improve. A few days later, I used my own Hoover Steam Vac Plus machine and Hoover brand carpet cleaner and was able to get the stains out myself. I'm not faulting him on not being able to get the stains out. Some stains are extra difficult. I was just happy that I had a Hoover Steam Vac Plus and was able to get them out myself. The overall cleaning job in the other rooms was satisfactory.

In a word: Wow. Our carpet is 18 years old and heavily abused, yet Mark Mason made it look almost new. Some stains didn't come out -- I knew they wouldn't, and Mark warned me, too -- but many of them did come out. Mark pre-treated the stains before using his roto-headed cleaning equipment. Moreover, the whole carpet was indeed deeply cleaned; it smells good and even feels good to my feet. I figured on having to replace the carpet soon, but I had to have it cleaned in the meantime. Now I'm going to wait on replacing the flooring, because the carpet is no longer a big problem. I highly recommend Aaron's Extreme Clean and Mark Mason.

I initially contacted Aaron's Extreme Clean after reading hundreds of carpet cleaning reviews on Angie's List. Mark responded to my email inquiry within 24 hours. I set up carpet cleaning for two living areas (the carpet was about a year and a half old) for approximately one week later between 12:00 am and 2:00 pm. At 11:30 am, Mark called to let me know that he just finished a job about an hour away and would be running about 30 minutes behind. It was wonderfully refreshing to have a business person actually contact me AHEAD OF TIME to let me know that the schedule had fluctuated. Mark wanted to make sure I knew what was going on so that I could plan accordingly and get other tasks done that I had planned. I greatly appreciated him being considerate of my time. Once Mark arrived, he went through the house and dicussed what he believed would work best with my carpet and in my home. We discussed some pet stain (puppy potty training) removal and some high traffic dirt areas. Mark thoroughly explained his pet stain removal process (carpet pad extraction), how it works and even went as far as to let me know that he would be happy for me to watch the process. Mark spent the next hour or more cleaning my two rooms. When he was done, the carpets looked amazing as well as having added stain protection on them. Mark went through the rooms to ensure that I was pleased with my carpet and his service. I was thrilled with the service!! My carpets came out looking great (and that can be hard with 3 dogs, including a St. Bernard). I have previously used other services to clean my carpet and have not been as pleased as with Aaron's Extreme Clean. Although carpet cleaners might use the same type of equipment, it is the person operating the equipment, and their experience in the field, that makes all of the difference. Not only was Mark courteous of my time, he was also very informative and clearly had years of experience in the business (since 1998). I will definitely use Aaron's Extreme Clean again in the future.

It went really well. He is a one man show at least I didn't ever deal with anyone other than Mark. We learned his name is not Aaron- a nice guy. He was not up uptight as a lot of big companies are.. more laid back I guess. He was fast and I felt the floors and chair were clean.. however they were not heavily soiled. We had some dried yogurt from our two year old in our bathroom, and that came up like 98% along with some sauce in the living room that once he left came up with just a little wipe. I have had our floors cleaned before from another company and perhaps they were more clean but I feel Aaron's did a good job with a great price. The floors dried very quickly so if you need someone clean your floors quickly before company call Aaron's. I guess I can't give a review on a floor that is stained and heavily soiled, hope I don't find out.

He arrived promptly and asked about any trouble spots that could be pre treated. He was efficient and courteous. The carpets didn't look new but they looked great for their age and wear.

Was prompt, delivered services promised for price promised. Process used allowed for accelerated drying which was a plus.

To begin with Mark showed up an hour late! I had printed out the coupon from Angie's List which stated "$199 for entire house air duct cleaning including 14 vents, 1 main return and 1 main trunk". I explicitly told Mark that I would be using this coupon when I scheduled the job. This coupon is extremely misleading! In counting the vents in my house I had 14, HOWEVER, Mark charged me $399 saying that I had 14 vents AND 14 returns ~ thus equaling 28 ducts! Had the coupon stated 7 vents and 7 returns people would realize that "entire house" only applied to a very small ranch house!! Upon pointing out this discrepancy to Mark he refused to honor the wording as stated in the coupon. I feel taken and will NEVER use this company again! I feel they are very dishonest.

I had the carpets in my rental house cleaned by Aaron's Extreme Clean. They did a good job and made the carpets look great. A day or two after they cleaned the carpets I noticed one of the spots they had treated was stating to show. The owner/ operator (Mark), came back out at no additional cost and treated the areas again. Carpet looks and smells great now. He really takes pride in his work. If you are concerned about using a company other than one of the big named ones.... DON'T!!! He has all of the experience and tools of the larger companies... with the added benefit of small business pride and customer focus.

This company is fantastic! After the coupon they gave me a good price on the additional area to be cleaned. They went over the whole process before they started the work and made sure I understood. The work didn't take as long as I thought it would and they got some areas clean that I never ever thought would look that good again. They cleaned up quickly and even emailed me a receipt. Mark and his crew are fantastic hard-working guys and I definitely will be using them again!
