They were very professional and efficient. They got the job done in just a few hours, and they reinstalled the drywall squares they had to cut out in the garage to run the wiring for the light. Everything was explained to me beforehand, and I was asked for my decisions on things as appropriate when a decision was needed. Very happy with Aaron's and will use again.

The two guys that came out were great! I had expected them to spend a few hours fixing all the items I had but they were in-and-out in under an hour and for considerably less than I had initially expected. They even told me that the switches (who a previous electrician told me needed replaced) did not in fact need replaced which saved me time/expense/materials. So, I would DEFINITELY recommend Aaron's Electric for any service needed!
Description of Work: I needed a light fixture replaced in my kitchen, a can light fixed in my living room, and a light fixture fixed in my attic. I thought I needed some switches replaced but the guys determined that it wasn't the switches (which saved me money).

It went well, and was fixed quicker than expected. The hourly rate seems a little steep to me, but worth it to be done with that headache

When I called this company they quoted me $135 for half an hour plus extra for additional hours to install 2 new bathroom fans. After he installed the fans, he just gave us the invoice in the amount of $528.50. He did not informed us that there will be 2 men working. He didn't provide us an itemized list of what they did. We were surprised because he first wrote in the piece of paper how much it will cost for 2 1/2 hours with 2 mean installing the bathroom fans. Did not itemized invoice.

Response from Aaron's Electric
I am very confused by this review, Something just isn't right with this one. We scheduled the job for 2 days after the initial call, we called when we were on the way, we were on time, the job went very well and the home owners were very satisfied with the work. We do charge $57.00 per hour extra if a second man is needed, and this job required 2 men. The exhaust fans this member provided are high output and are very heavy making 2 men a must for this installation. Even if one man could have done this job by himself, it would have taken at least twice as long or even longer and would have been much more expensive. I can't even imagine how many trips in and out of the attic one guy would have had to make to complete this one on his own. So the minor extra expense for the second man was well worh it. Since the member provided the materials there just wasn't much of a break down to list out on the written order but when asked my electrician did go back over the charges with this member. But really how do you score a B for quality and F's for everythng else? Maybe the price was higher than what they had expected and I could understand a lower score for price, but this member was all smiles, singing our praises saying if they ever need other electrical work they would be calling us, then the husband spoke up and said WAIT A MINUTE, you better take a look at this price first. Then there attitude went cold, they paid the bill and then proceeded to give us a review as if it was the worst experience of there lives. Im just not sure what we could have done any better for this member, and an F rating just isn't fair. But if they feel they were over charged I would be more than willing to discuss it with them to see what we can do to earn an A grade just like most every one else has given us. I ask you to please read every single review, it's pretty clear what most members think of us. Owner Jim Carpenter, Aaron's Electric Co. Angie's list super service award winner 11 straight years.

My dryer would not power on. After troubleshooting replacing parts for 3 weeks I gave up and researched an Electrical company to determine if it was a power issue instead. I called 2 Electric Companies that said they were booked for 2 weeks. Aaron's Electric was the only company I called that could send someone out next day. Jim (the owner) and I talked on the phone. He gave me rates up front. After I agreed, we set an appointment. Tom came to my house and I showed him the problem area. He determined that the dryer outlet was the issue. He showed me where one of the wires had been damaged on the inside of the outlet box. So, there was 240 going to the dryer outlet (it wasn't a fuse issue), but the outlet itself was faulty. Tom then went above and beyond. He could have simply changed the outlet box and left. But, I still would have had problems in the future. He was concerned that the plug I had on the dryer was the wrong type. He sent pictures to his owner and after discussing with him, determined that the plug also needed to be changed (we had a range oven plug for some reason). So, he also changed the plug on the dryer in order for it to work properly. Tom talked to his owner a couple of times for direction on the job. He noted that Aaron's Electric wants to get the job done right the 1st time. While I could complain about the price of the job.....I'd rather pay more for quality, courteousness, honesty and confidence of a job well done. That's what I believe Aaron's Electric provides. I would definitely hire this company again in the future.

This was my first experience with the company. It's started out well when they called and asked if they could come over a little earlier than the scheduled time. The ceiling on this room is extra-high (14') and required a very tall stepladder. Once everything was set up the two men, Jim and Tom, worked quickly and professionally. All the old parts were removed, the new 52" fan wired & installed, and the room cleaned up perfectly. Would strongly recommend.

They arrived as scheduled. Introduced themselves, evaluated job and explained what needed to be done. Skillfully hung the sconces, which required a fair amount of work since there were no existing lights. Proceeded to work on fan, other gentleman did the other 4 lights. They were considerate about cleanup, informed me every step, really impressed with them! I would definitely look no further for any electrical needs.

They arrived when they said they would, and first called to confirm they were enroute. An extensive rewire was needed, which involved running wire from our circuit breaker box up into our attic and down through a wall and crawl space to insert a three prong outlet in our kitchen. Dry wall was cut in four places. The dry wall was all neatly replaced and secured with screws. They cleaned up when they finished.
Description of Work: We purchased a new electric kitchen range and were unaware that ranges can now require more electric current than our present range did which was 10 years old. An upgrade from 40 amp to 60 amp service was needed.

We are putting a small patio in the front yard, but there was wiring for the outdoor lights running under that location. Before digging to lay the patio, the wiring needed to be rerouted around it. We also wanted to move where the transformer was, from in front of the house to the side where it is less visible from the street. Finally, to improve the patio space, we wanted to install a new AC outlet. Aaron's Electric came out to better understand the work and gave a free estimate. They were beyond professional. The quote was considerably higher than the others, but I was confident they had a perfect understanding of the work and gambled that the extra money would be worthwhile. I was not disappointed. The crew arrived on time with two trucks. The quote actually included a brand new, higher capacity transformer, so I could double my outdoor lighting in the future. The transformer also contained a digital timer and a light detector to automatically turn on at night. The wiring was rerouted and they installed the AC outlet. I was so pleased with the service that I asked for a couple more quotes on some other projects around the house before they left. The entire process was done by lunch. I am very happy.
