I think they are the best and I use them for everything! They did a new service electrical line from the pole to the house, they added an outlet to the back patio, and they did a total check of my exterior outlets and replaced those that needed replaced. They seem to be very competent and they seemed to have a lot of seasoned electricians.

Service was great - they provided a quick estimate on the phone after asking several questions about the job. They were able to come out the following week and installed both fans as expected. They were very friendly, knowledable and cleaned up after the work and gave us an estimate for some other work we are considering having done in the garage. Would definitely use them again in the future.

He was very professional and on time for the appointment. He was very knowledgable. I had no problems with scheduling and he was here for about 2 hours to complete the work.

The work was done beautifully. The electrician was very friendly and extremely informative. He explained the things he could and could not do with our request based on the structure of the home. We are very happy with the finished product!

Aaron's technician Jim Carpenter was exceptional. Response time was quick. He arrived in a timely manner and was very kind and professional. He explained things to me in a way that was easy to understand, and with confidence. He noted that the the piece between the ceiling and the fan was for a regular light fixture, not a heavy ceiling fan. He offered the option of replacing it for the sturdier one made for ceiling fans, and explained the price increase for that additional work. He worked at a nice pace and finished within 2.5 hours. This included going up into our unfinished attic to install the proper ceiling support. The fan looks and works great, and runs much more smoothly.

On the day of service 2 electricians came to the house and began work replacing outlets and switches. Several switches had been improperly installed by other providers and Aaron's corrected the problems. All switches and outlets were tested after installation. Both technicians were extremely professional and answered all of my questions. I would definitely hire Aaron's again.

I've been using Aaron's electric for several years. They are checking and replacing all my electrical outlets and switches. While working at my home they showed me the poor condition of my breaker box and I had them replace it. They explain what they are doing and make suggestions to keep my home safe. The standard for this company is quality work with no short cuts. There is no pressure, but after working with them for several years they know I want a safe home. They are bringing this 40 year old house up to code.

My initial call was to install two new outlets for a freezer and refrigerator in our basement. After speaking with Jim about what I needed to have done, the technicians arrived within two days to give an estimate. It was discovered that our home's breaker box was not only outdated but not up to code with potential safety hazards. The technicians were honest, and very informative about the reasons for their recommendations, which bottom line was *safety*. They were professional, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable about what needed to be taken care of and how it needed to be done. The process was explained to me without any pressure, but also very upfront about their recommendations. Needless to say, we scheduled them right away. The entire process from phone call to work being completed was less than 10 days. The crew was so professional, courteous, and kind to my kids that I feel confident in recommending them to anyone. After a contract was signed, along with a deposit, a city permit was filed and the work was done on two separate days. The first day we were not able to be home, and the technicians were kind enough to do their work cleanly and efficiently and close the house behind them. I felt 100% comfortable with the staff to take care of what they needed without me being there. The majority of the work was done so efficiently that we had power by the afternoon. I cannot recommend this company enough. I feel that Jim and his crew strive for excellence, and are honest, hardworking people that truly care about their customers and are highly skilled at what they do. We would have never thought to replace our breaker box, and now we are extremely grateful that we did so. We will definitely use this company in the future.

Woke up to a chirping smoke detector in our bedroom on Saturday morning. Upon researching, realized that all smoke detectors were over ten years old and needed to be replaced. Contacted Jim of Aaron's Electric. He gave me the option of coming out that day, for a slightly higher rate, or coming the following week. since I valued sleep, I chose Saturday. He kept us informed of his estimated arrival time. He was prompt, courteous and informative.

I called Jim (owner) and left a message. He called me back within an hour and was as friendly as could be. I told him about my job and he was able to give me an estimate over the phone. We then made an appointment for the work for later in the week. He called me about 30 minutes prior to the job to let me know he was running ahead of schedule and asked if he could come early. What a pleasant surprise! Jim showed up with his helper. They were both very professional, calm and respectful. They covered my hardwood floors prior to bringing in their big ladder. They got right to work. Once Jim hung the chandelier in my nearly 18 foot ceiling he asked me if it was at the right height for me before he secured it. I wasn't sure and Jim and his helper were so patient in helping me decided. We moved it a little bit each time before finalizing the placement. This was an important decision and they were very helpful in making the decision with their experience and opinions. When he was done he installed a dimmer for me. I didn't ask about a dimmer when I made the appointment. However, it was no problem for Jim to take a little extra time to put it in. When the job was complete they cleaned up the new chandelier box. They even brought in a hand vac and cleaned up after themselves. First rate company that I will use again and have already referred to my friends! If you are looking for a patient, experienced and respectful electrician Jim is your guy!

I thought he was very professional. He came on a holiday weekend so I was very grateful for that. He seemed to be very thorough and completed the work as promised and explained fully everything that needed to be done and how he was resolving it. The work was fairly expensive.

Jim was very thorough and I felt really good because it was like getting an inspection plus the work. He took pictures to show me the damage in the junction box. He noticed that there was a wire going to the water heater that was not inside conduit. Several of the ground wires were not grounded correctly. The one that shorted out was not grounded or it would have tripped the circuit breaker. The wiring to the den is 15 amp wire that went into a 20 amp circuit breaker, and Jim put in a 15 amp circuit breaker. There was an outlet put into the floor that was not properly wired. I would recommend Jim for any electrical work or house electrical inspections.

I called Mr. Carpenter regarding a lighting problem in our master bedroom and bath. When I plugged into an outlet in the master bedroom, the lights in the master bath went out. Mr. Carpenter scheduled an appointment for the next day. He explained the charges and told me the name of the person that would be making the repair. The next day Mr. Carpenter called to inform me that an electrician would be at the house shortly. Brent, the electrician, was fabulous. He quickly explained what he thought had happened, took apart two outlets which verified what he had suspected, then replaced the faulty outlet. I asked him to check two switches on our lower level and replace one of the outlets. Brent worked quickly and explained everything along the way. My husband and I were very grateful for the excellent service we received from this company.

Professional guys who explained everything they were going to do. I have heard from others that the dry wall behind cabinets gets torn off and they are left open as it is behind cabinets. I did not want it that way and did mention it to them. They cut the dry wall as a rectangular piece and removed it. Then they did the work and replaced the dry wall neatly screwed to the studs. The GFI outlets replaced are of good quality. They did quote me $695 including $100 for replacing the fan receiver. But, I decided against doing anything to the fan but they ended up adding the $100 to moving a GFI plug. I am unhappy from the price standpoint. Quality of work is excellent. They used High Quality parts. Took great care to avoid unnecessary work or opening up the drywall.

The technicians responded to the initial phone call within 20 minutes. They arrived on time, and were prepared and professional in their troubleshooting of the issue. They not only solved the problem, but also provided insight as to what the root of the issue may be, and offered additional assistance in the future if the issue should come up again.

It went perfect, they were efficient, showed up on time, fixed any holes, and cleaned up after they left. We have used them about 4 or 5 times for any electric thing. They are happy to answer any questions over the phone at any time.

Called to ask about checking a plug that appeared to have burn marks. They came out, took a look at it and sure enough, it needed to be replaced. Got it taken care of and we trust them completely to take care of us.

I have recommended them to others. They are not cheap, but they are very good. They are just really very good, professional electricians.

Aaron's is a perfect example of the kind of vendor you hope to find through Angie's List. Sensing my extreme need to restore power to half my house, they dispatched Brent within the hour (another vendor was going to schedule me in about a week). Brent is very quick, knowledgeable (he is the third generation electrician in his family and had years of commercial electrician experience before joining Aaron's Electric). When I wanted an explanation of what had happened, he did a good job of helping me understand. He also cleaned up after himself. He wrote up a detailed estimate of what would be needed to replace the service panel, and was careful not to include the time for doing this on the clock for the call. The new service panel looks neat and tidy with each of the breakers carefully labeled, the result of a painstaking process involving three men. My wife and I now feel safer knowing that Aaron's Electric has brought our older home up to code.

They were on time and did what I asked them to do.
