SCHEESSELE & SONS CONSTRUCTION

I contacted Scheessele & Sons prior to closing on my Evansville home, in hopes of getting an estimate for works that would be needed immediately after closing. I spoke at length with Damien Scheessele and gave him the address of the property i was buying and the phone number of my realtor to arrange a viewing of the house. I heard nothing back from Damien, and my realtor was never contacted. I called Scheessele again and left a detailed message asking to be contacted. I waited a couple weeks and called again , and spoke with a nice young lady. I gave her a detailed account of my previous contact with Damien and the subsequent lack of reply, and she assured me that she would pass my info along to someone. I have heard nothing back from Scheessele. I am currently searching for a company actually interested in taking on a 50-80k renovation job.

They're excellent but their prices are very high. Their design services are limited. The quality of their work, from what I've seen from their portfolio is unquestionable, but if you're on a budget, they might not be the best option. They make high quality, high end work. If you have a healthy budget, Scheessele and Sons are an excellent choice because they specialize in the high end construction and remodeling business, but if you're on a budget, they are probably not the correct choice for you because they really cater to high end.

These guys have worked for us for years and I love them dearly esp. Rich, Larry and Jerry. Trust them plus they do a great job.

Consistently came in over budget without addressing all concerns requested. could not reach an understing of cost drivers to re-work the project and get back into the original budget or find compromises. Very creative team with good ideas, but better suited when budget is not critical and a more hands-off approach to planning is desired. Otherwise, very respectful of my home, considerate, and easy to deal with.

Scheessele and Sons did an excellent job. They used top of the line material and completed job in time frame we had agreed on. They were very professional, knowledgeable, honest, and easy to work with. I will continue doing business with this company and referring them to family and friends.
