+ -1 moreShe was great to work with, can see YOUR vision and does not put you into any slots that fit her own decorating preferences. We have a more contemporary aesthetic and I think she tends more toward the traditional/eceltic herself, but you would never know her preference by the way she worked with me. It was all about what we wanted and how we wanted it to look.
Description of Work: Carol e. Smith helped me to decorate our new houseboat from top to bottom int he Spring of 2011. She helped with fabric and furniture selection, design of window treatments, bedspreads, plumbing fixtures, lighting, tile, and blinds. This was a huge project, becuase everything had to be done at once, not just added to a little at atime as would be the case with most home remodeling or decorating projects. She is great about picturing how things will look from small samples and coordinating different fabrics in different rooms. Then I had her help me with a large master suite remodel at my home. This was a complete gut job down to the joists! She helpd me again with tile, carpet, window treaments, plumbing fixtures, bedspread, furniture--EVERYTHING.
