Description of Work: We thought we had a leak in plumbing but turned out to be a leaky 'natural disaster' container .. Plumber very nice. No services required but we were charged $5 for 'materials'? We knew it would run $20 every 15 minutes & & 25 for service call but the other 5 surprised us .. Actually now that I think about it, he probably was into the 2nd 20 minute increment .. Very happy with service

Description of Work: Put in new bathtub and taps. Took a chunk out of my counter top, broke a piece on front of new tub and just glued it back on. Very poor installation job. |Did a better job on master bath installing walk-in shower but would not use them again.

Description of Work: The have done a lot of work for me but the last was a Smith heat pump water heater.I had been looking at them V a tankless water heater. When my old water went out they replaced it the next day. They did a fine job and it has worked great. they have in the past fixed leaks and replaced my water softner.

Description of Work: Called on Christmas Eve about sewage backing up. I decided to wait to have them come out until after the holiday. They called first thing Monday morning, showed up when they said they would and diagnosed the problem. I ended up having several crews come out by the time all was said and done. Every person on site was friendly and professional. The owner even cleaned my hair traps in the bathroom sink and tub when he noticed they drained slowly. I ended up needing a new sewer system.

 + -1 moreOriginally, called them to change filters in our reverse osmosis system and to repair a faucet. The plumber showed up on time and changed the filters, but claimed he was unable to fix the faucet aftr he looked at it. Later I found that the RO connections were leaking and that the system was not working properly. The plumber came back a second time and fixed the leaks, but he said that he didn't know how to get the RO system working. Later, the head of the company was called in to review the system. He succeeded in partially returning some function, but the system still discharged waste water constantly instead of as needed. I later found out that the original plumber had removed a flow control device without repalcing it when he repaired leaks. The company head also tried to fix the faucet that baffled the original plumber. Although he was cooperative and seemingly successful, I later found out that the hot and cold lever positions were reversed. Of couse, the total bill for these "services" were extremely high.

 + -1 moreWe built our house in 1994. Our builder sent us to Bayer for our plumbing fixutures and labor. We didn't know there were problems with the work until we started remodeling our house in September of 2009. While installing new flooring, it was discovered that we had water damage to the sub floors in the toilet area of all three bathrooms. In all three bathrooms the toilets had not been installed properly and had been leaking into the sub floor. Needless to say, we were not pleased to find out that we had to rip out the rotten flooring and replace the sub floors. Unfortunately in Indiana, contractors are only liable for 10 years after the work is done. Consequently, we have no recourse to recover the cost of fixing the damage caused by the faulty work.
Description of Work: We purchased plumbing fixtures from Bayer and had them perform all of the plumbing work on our house during its construction in 1994.
