 + -1 moreGreat business and people to deal with. My furnace was having issues running nonstop without properly heating my home in single-degree January weather. Text their number and Sean (the owner) was on the phone with me minutes later. He told me a simple thing I could check that immediately fixed the issue in minutes. I was ready to pay a service call and repair fees but his integrity saved me a good deal of money. Integrity such as this is rare in businesses today and speaks volumes about their business. I highly recommend A Perfect Climate.

Description of Work: I was told by another Angie's List provider that I needed a new heat exchanger. I bought the system 10 years ago from that provider, did all the maintenance. My warranty ran out in July & the part was very expensive. The air conditioner broke every year so I figured it would next year so I was looking at a completely new system. Sean from A perfect Climate came as Angie's List said it's wise to get a second opinion. So glad I did! He showed me the part with a video camera while he was checking & surprise there was the start of a crack but not many cracks as we were told. He saved me at least $9k in getting a system I didn't need. He came out on Saturday after I spent the first cold night of the season with no heat because the other provider said to leave it off. He was professional, explained everything to me, told me what to look for in case I ran into more issues. I am so happy a friend recommended them. I wasn't looking forward to that kind of unexpected expense so late in the year. Thanks so much to A Perfect Climate for their honesty with someone who knows nothing about HVAC systems, I highly recommend them!

He always gives you an estimate of when to expect him, and actually shows up when he says he will. I feel like that is rare in the service industry. He's very skilled, polite and charges reasonable prices. I would (and have) recommend him highly to anyone.

Description of Work: They diagnosed replaced the control wire to my A/C condenser from the furnace. Another contractor had accently cut it while drilling through my wall. It was not until a hot day that I noticed the A/C unit was not working.

However, after calling PC we were pleasantly surprised. He was out to the house within hours and fixed the problem within an hour at a minimal cost to us. It was a belated Christmas gift which was much appreciated!!

 + -1 moreEarly this spring, A Perfect Climate Heating & Cooling installed a new HVAC system and ductwork in our home. We experienced awesome service, as detailed in my previous report on this company. Last week, Sean Bryk, the owner, came to inspect the unit, and to perform any required maintenance. He replaced the air filter, tested the thermostat, inspected both the interior and exterior equipment, and asked if I had any questions or concerns. He spent approximately one hour to complete these items, left me with two additional filters - the really good ones (16x25x5), and made sure that I was satisfied with our new HVAC prior to leaving. Sean Bryk is an A+ owner/operator, and I would recommend A Perfect Climate Heating & Cooling to anyone in the market for HVAC products or services.
Description of Work: A Perfect Climate Heating & Cooling inspected our HVAC unit and performed required maintenance. The air filter was replaced, the thermostat was tested, the interior and exterior equipment was inspected, and all of my questions were addressed.

 + 0 moreIt was outstanding. Initially we had Sean come by because we our electric starter went out and we had no heat. He checked things over, put a new starter in but found some relatively dangerous band-aids the previous owners had done to the system. He offered ideas and solutions and we agreed to upgrade our 20+ year old furnace and air conditioner. It went great and we are very pleased with his work, his prices and his honesty. This guys is great and we will not only continue to use him, but we will tell every friend and family member to consider him!
Description of Work: Sean came out to replace our furnace and air conditioner. He also roughed some additional duct work for a future project and cleaned up some questionable piping we had running from our water heater to our furnace. He and his worker were in and out in primarily one day, but came back on day two to make sure all was well.

 + -1 moreShawn showed up and did the work he needed to do. I was impressed with everything from start to fininsh. My only issue came from my wife. She stated that there was some inapproriate language used by Shawn. There were a couple of issues and one that was caused by him and he cursed loud enough my wide heard and she felt it was completely inapproperiate and unprofessional. I never heard that, but she did. He did good work and stood behind his work.
Description of Work: We were selling our home and needed a repair to our furnace. Shawn had done an estimate for us on teh home we bought. I thought I'd try him and see how good he did and see if we would use him on the big job. He did a good job repairing the heating coil issues we were having and cleaning the system.
