Scheduled an estimate. C&D never showed up, never contacted me, and never responded to my request for follow-up.

For some reason he told me he was coming 5+ times and never showed up. Sometimes he emailed and sometimes he didn't. I finally gave up on him as he stopped responding to emails. So 10 + emails, 4+ phone calls and no show.

The owner responded immediately for an estimate in spite of his busy schedule. He got my project scheduled in two weeks. Harry, the owner was on site both days of my project. We went over exactly where I wanted the fence and the gates. Harry, his right hand man John, his crew Steve and Brandon started work right away. It was extremely hot and humid and they worked steady until quitting time. The first day they had all the holes dug for the posts, the posts set and the horizontal boards up. My backyard is pretty big and they were finished on the second day. The fence looks great. The walk through gate and drive through gate look great and work great. I have had many compliments on the fence and it was finished just yesterday. The crew was very polite, very professional and worked very hard. They cleaned up and were gone. Harry came back the next day to show me how to work the gates and we walked the fence line to check everything out. Looks awesome!!! Harry assured me that if I had any problems at all that he would take care of them. FYI the price was very reasonable and lower than other local fence installers. I had other estimates but chose C & D for the price and the many years of experience. I also checked out a few fences they had installed. Thank you C & D Fence Co. For my beautiful fence. : )

They didn't show up the first time they were scheduled and I had to call to check in on them after an hour but couldn't get an answer. They did show up on time the 2nd time and fixed my fence but didn't know what was included in the deal and didn't go above and beyond in any way.

At first it was delightful seeing the fence go up but he wouldn't use the fence companies gates, preferring to design his own. For one set, that probably was necessary due to the spacing between the house and neighbor's yard. Unfortunately, when he built his own fence, he had his own ideas for design and did not follow the proper scallop design we had chosen for our fence. The Longevity fence company itself had photos but he refused (note, I say refused) to so it according to the photo. Within one day, we also discovered that the "lock" he used would just flip open with a breeze blowing and since we put up this costly fence to keep our dog inside, that wasn't going to be at all satisfactory. His answer to that was to put some horribly awkward, ugly, farm-style gadget on it that cannot be easily manipulated and totally destroys the look of the fence. His attitude about correcting his work was absolutely the most unprofessional attitude we have ever encountered. Unfortunately, by the time he put on the horrible unit and pretended to correct the gates (which he still did not do as per the design of the fence and Longevity's own photo) we had already paid him. If not, we would have stopped payment. In fact, his lousy work and lack of professionalism is exactly why I chose to join Angie's list, albeit a year late. I don't want anyone else to pay so much for such lousy work. We have no money left and cannot hire anyone to correct this mess and it hurts every time I have to open the gate and see the lousy workmanship. I'm stuck with it. I hope nobody else winds up in that boat.

I called them in April and Harry Dawson came out to give me an estimate. He helped me make some final decisions about placement of gates and the type of aesthetics that would work best for me. He also drew a map and took measurements. We exchanged contact information and he emailed an estimate to me. I didn't receive the first email because the email address they used was incorrect. After we agreed on a price, he gave me a week that they would be able to do the job but not a specific day. They didn't come the week he had indicated and I emailed them. A few days later, he called me and set a day and time for the following week. It was then that he told me I would have to be present so that I could show the workers where to put the fence. I had to make arrangements to be off work at the last minute which was somewhat stressful. I knew he had taken measurements and had drawn a map so I felt this step was unnecessary, but I took the day off and spent 5 minutes with the foreman. Three men showed up and they worked very hard. It was hot but they worked for three days. We did have some clean up that I thought they would have taken care of and some random tools and equipment. There were pieces of vinyl scattered around the yard. The dirt that was excessed from the holes was our responsibility and we leveled it out. All this being said, I would have them do another fence for us. They may not be the most organized or neatest company around, but they did a good job at a very reasonable price.

I sent request for quote on replacing our fence. Heard from C&D Fence Co. on 6/25/13. Said they'd be at our house 6 p.m. Friday, June 28 to look at it. NO CALL-NO SHOW.

This was the worst chain link fencing job I have ever seen. The work was so bad I am unable to correct it myself, to make it right. Enough said lousy job.

It turned out really well. The price was very reasonable. They did a great job with the work. They provide great customer service and work very well with their clients.

Called for estimate on Friday and received it on Monday. Fence installed on following Friday.
