QUALITY EXCAVATING

The work appeared initially to be done OK, however they were rushed since they had other jobs to do. The dam on the pond ended up slumping nearly 2 feet and the pond had horrible leaks because of the way they constructed the dams. They didn't construct a secondary overflow. They didn't properly install the first overflow causing it to sink and lower my pond almost a foot. I had notified the company of the issues several times and even got them to come out - I was even willing to pay to fix it. However, they never responded several times via phone or email over the course of 2 months. I ended up using another company which has more experience digging ponds and they identified many flaws which will cause this pond to be a money pit for years to come. The simple lack of responsiveness is a reason to look elsewhere for service. Between this and another 2 projects - I have nearly $50,000 I've given this company in the past 2 years. You would think customer service would be important to them. I can understand one or two non-responsivenesss when people are busy but this was at least 5 or 6 times. before I finally gave up and called another company who was able to come out and fix the major problems within a week. I guess I should have used the other company from the beginning.
