Did an okay job on the install. After approximately a month, we started having a few minor issues. Called and left messages for a month. Finally got a hateful return phone call saying that the electrical issue we are having is our fault and that we needed to hire our own electrician. Then the owner hung the phone up on me. .

We hired the company to do the seasonal cleanup on our A/C. Strangely, the Rose Air technician could not find the old filters installed in the furnace. Since I was at work at the time, my wife got him on the phone with me, so I could tell him where the filters are. He apologized and started to blame the age of the furnace for his inability to find the filters (it was the first such an excuse in 13 years I had this furnace serviced by various HVAC companies). Later during the visit, the technician also found rust on my heat exchanger and suggested doing CO test (another $50) to make sure there were no cracks in it. Even though my heat exchanger was recently replaced, I agreed to do the test. The test showed low-level presence of CO, which supposedly was an indication of some cracks. The technician suggested replacing the furnace and gave us few estimates. With that he left. The rest of the day and all night the furnace stayed off as he left it. On the next morning I wanted to turn it on, since there was drop in temperature outside. To my surprise, the furnace would not come on, so I called Rose Air and complained. The same technician showed up again. He found a bad circuit board, which needed to be replaced. He denied any responsibility for the circuit board going bad even though it was working up until his first visit. Still, he offered a 50% discount on the replacement board, but at that point I was ready to replace the whole furnace (considering the need to replace the heat exchanger as well). After I told him that we would be willing to replace the whole furnace, the technician requested the full payment in advance. He sited his impression that we did not have a full trust in him and his company. Actually, his inability to find filters and the circuit board going bad for no apparent cause were good enough reasons for us to become suspicious. In response, I said that we would be willing to pay 50% of the price in the beginning of the installation and 50% upon completion. The technician agreed and left my house in order to go to his office to pick up the paperwork and the new furnace (by the way - he left our old furnace partially disassembled). Soon after he left, the office manager called me and once again asked for the payment in full. She said that there was a "lack of trust" between us, so they wanted to be paid in advance. After I declined such demands and mentioned that there were good reasons for us to be suspicious, and no reasons for them to be suspicious of us, the office manager said that they would not be willing to do any more work for us. They also declined to come back to put back the old furnace, since it was in a partially disassembled state - simply unbelievable!
