+ -1 morePaul was great to work with and got back to me the same day I called him. He was able to give me a ball park range on pricing over the phone once I explained the project. The day of the project, he communicated ahead of time that he was running behind schedule prior to arrival which was appreciated. After looking at the tub he came back with a job price of $550 which is very competitive given the state of this tub. Upon removing some of the old coating on the bottom he noticed there were a ton of divots. He offered to repair them and keep the price at his original quote. I chipped in a little extra cash to make it worth the extra effort. After a couple hours of filling, sanding, prep and coating it was all done and looks incredible. This tub was in very rough shape so I'm amazed by how good it turned out. I would absolutely recommend them and hire him again if ever needed.

+ -1 moreVery professional. Arrived on time. Built a protective "booth" of plastic sheeting to contain any overspray. First, he grooved out the cracks in the concrete sink and filled them to prevent future leaks and then glazed the sink white. Those old sinks are very functional, but sort of ugly. It's actually attractive now - and it doesn't leak any more!
Description of Work: Glaze a concrete laundry sink to prevent leaking. We had an old concrete laundry sink in our basement that we could not use due to it's leaking. It had a number of cracks in the bottom of the sink and that's where it was leaking from. We really wanted to save the old sink, rather than replace it with one of the new, plastic ones. They have a lot of character and charm, not to mention the large capacity and two separate compartments. We contacted a number of companies, but Quality Reglazing was the only one interested in helping us.

I had to change the date because I realized tile work had to be finished before he came, and he was very accommodating. Paul arrived on time, gave a thorough explanation of the work needed, and sought my input as needed. He completed the job in one day and the work was excellent. He cleaned up after himself quite nicely. The price was on the higher end of the range because of the poor condition of the tub and I was not surprised by this, but it was less expensive than replacing the tub. I found this service based on Angie's List recommendations and a confirmation from the person who did my tile work (who I also found on Angie's List.) My old tub looks brand new and I would definitely use this service again and highly recommend.

Quality Reglazing offers the following services: We reglaze or spray on very durable finishes on bathtubs, wall surrounds, ceramic tile*, sinks, vanity tops and cabinets.

Minor repairs, and replacement of tile in small areas when we are going to refinish the tile.
We specialize in repairing fiberglass bathtubs and shower units and can permanently fix structural cracks in the bottom of bathtubs tub or showers.
For structural cracks on the bottom of a fiberglass tub, we strengthen the support under the bottom and install a fiberglass panel over the bottom and match the color of the tub over the bottom of the tub and install a slip resistant surface.

Step-Thru Tub Conversion for Handicap Accessibility,
We cut a 20 inch wide section from front apron of your existing tub and custom fit panels on the open area and Reglaze that area to match your tub. Nothing hangs over the side and it looks like your tub was made that way. (See pictures)
The height to step into the tub is usually about 6 inches. It turned your bathtub into a step in shower. Safety bar installation is available at the time we install the Tub conversion, it’s usually a one day process.
The cut out piece can be reinstalled which will turn the step in shower back into a tub which will hold water.
We do not replace bathtubs, tile, kitchen countertops or bathroom fixtures. We only refinish or reglaze existing items in your home.
