+ -1 moreRon & Barb were very helpful over the phone getting things started, telling us what to do before they came. On Friday we started waiting for them at 3pm (told they'd come around 3); they showed up at 7:30 pm. Barb didn't bring the right things with her to fix/do anything so she left, promising to come back the next day. Next day, Ron showed up, but didn't bring the right truck to do pool work, so he couldn't do anything for us that day either. They scheduled to come back that Tues. Tues comes & goes, no one shows or calls. When I called them, there was a message saying they had to leave town. I couldn't get a hold of anybody until that Thurs. Thurs. they finally came & did everything they were supposed to have done a week ago. At the end of summer they closed our pool. We had to call several times (each time they were not at a place to check the schedule & said they would call back, which didn't happen) to finally get them out. At the end of it we were glad to be done with the fiasco.
Description of Work: Our pool was sort of run down; it had not been taken care of before we bought the house with this pool. Ron and Barb started by fixing a few broken things on the pump itself, such as replacing the o-ring and the pressure gage. Then they opened our pool for the summer and showed us how to take care of pools, including how to check the chemicals and how to work the pump (they called it "pool school"). At the end of the summer, they closed our pool for the winter, kind of showing us how to do that as well.

+ -1 moreThey came out twice. The first time to help us determine what we needed done and then to actually do the work. They spent extra time giving us tips for our pool and explained what they were doing and why. We had to cancel and reschedule our appointment, and they were always pleasant.
Description of Work: Clean and close our in ground pool for the winter. They blew the pipe lines out and added chemicals to winterize. They also helped us with our pump problems.
