Go someplace else!! Too big of a list to list all the reasons not to go here. They sent me my final plans, didn’t go over them with me prior to the start. I didn’t get the house I wanted after losing one to a fire. Communication is terrible. The dry wall crews were drinking on the job. I picked out interior and didn’t get half of what I wanted for multiple reason. They looked at my insurance policy and said they could get my money and didn’t. They don’t keep good accounting as I paid for an invoice received and they didn’t apply it right. During demolition of the old house the crew was to clean out the garage only, instead they cleaned out the whole house, getting rid of my grandma’s antique furniture I wanted, valued at $5,000 and not even an apology. No warranty for work done only manufacturer warranty, so I have to get online and print those. Too many things to mention, just go somewhere else!! Especially If you are looking at them after a house fire!!

So now here we are in September paying thousands of dollars because the roof and gutters were not done properly and have flooded my basement. Wouldn't ya know. Brad doesn't answer his phone.
Description of Work: After filing a home owners claim with my insurance company they recommended using Eagle contracting. My initial impression of Brad was very good! I contacted him and he came out and gave an estimate the same day! It all went down hill from there. After having the insurance adjuster out and receiving the funds from my insurance claim Brad became impossible to reach. When I finally did get in contact with him he made up excuses saying he had been leaving voicemails and emails and I was the one not responding. Not the case. Finally four months after the damage and initial estimate did someone come out to make the repairs. Then they didn't complete everything that was to be done. So I called brad back to find out what was going on and was told that "to the best of his knowledge" we weren't finishing the repairs and was just going to keep the remaining money from the settlement. Also not the case. We ended up just finding another contractor to finish the rest of our repairs just to be done with Eagle contracting.

We had a lot of discussions on the order in which the 1st and 2nd job should be done so that there would be little or no ripping out of work already done. He was very patient with all my questions. Once the permit was in hand the work went quickly. It was a verry good quality of work. No leaks and it looks good. I had no land scaping and it was very weedy, however the clean up could a been better. I definately hire this contractor for the next phase.

There were a few problems with the roof repair work they did. I had trouble following up with them to get it fixed. I would not call them again.

Part of Eagle Contracting's mission statement reads...and quot; to develop customer relationships through integrity, honesty and creativityand quot;. Brad's actions clash with this statement His false promises and lack of follow-through demonstrate a lack of integrity. Why would anybody trust this contracter to even start a project, let alone to a good job, when he can't even follow through on a simple quote. I hope you find this useful.
Description of Work: Part of my basement flooded, and I contacted my insurance agent who recommended Brad Griffith of Eagle Contracting. Brad came to my home and evaluated my situation. He left and came back later while I was gone, with a special instrument to detect a water leak.I didn't hear from him for five days so I contacted him for his recommendation and quote. I also asked him to come back to look at a separate area that I planned to remodel. He agreed to come back to give me a second quote on the remodeling and said he would bring the first quote on the flood damage with him. Brad arrived at my house with no quote and said he left it at home. He then said he would e-mail me both quotes in a day or two. Two weeks later I had not heard from Brad by phone or e-mail. I again called him and he said he sent a quote to my e-mail and was just about follow-up with me (sure). We verified my e-mail address and hung up. Two more weeks went by, and I never received the two quotes by e-mail or a follow-up phone call. (unbelievable!)

The job went well. Their cleanup was immaculate and they came out as soon as they said they would to stabilize the house. The work they did was well done and the only complaint I have is that they didn’t communicate a lot.
Description of Work: Our basement collapsed so we had Eagle Contracting put in a new wall and do the electric, gas, and plumbing among other things.

The actual workmanship was very good, and the craftsman were talented and professional. We had many walls repaired and painted and they turned out well. However, the contracting/scheduling of the work was very frustrating. In addition, I hired a separate flooring company to replace our damaged slate floor; I did all the scheduling, communication, and paid the upfront cost with them. Eagle wanted to add 20% of the flooring company's bill to their contracting fee saying they were a "subcontractor" of their's. Of course, I refused to allow this to happen. Without my approval and against my explicit instruction, Eagle instructed the floor installer THAT I HIRED to lay the slate PRIOR to Eagle fixing the walls and painting in the same room the slate would be laid in. In the very beginning, Eagle told me the slate floor must be laid first so it would not be damaged as they did extensive work on the two-story walls. Yet, when it worked better for Eagle's scheduling, they attempted to switch things around. Again, I had to put my foot down. I was also told not to worry about moving things out of rooms and that Eagle would make sure this got done. The day before the work was to begin, not a single thing had been covered or moved. My husband and I had to quickly schedule movers, a storage unit, and pack up our great room and dining room. Later, in spite of their assurance's that they would take care of any other moving of things, I had to take care of it.
Description of Work: This work was being done as a result of water damage that our insurance company paid for. It was the insurance company that pushed us to go with this contractor. Had I been paying out of pocket, I would have shopped around for a better price and checked references. I was happy with the quality of work in the end. However, the person that was handling the contracting dropped the ball on several occasions and things didn't get moving until I stepped in and began pushing.

I would say overall, I would hire them myself for a job, but I would keep an eye on them from time to time.
Description of Work: This company was hired by my insurance co. to restore my attic and home after a fire. They did a great job, Brad was pretty easy to deal with. They mostly contract others to do the work under Brad's authority, but they rebuilt my attic, roof, tore out and repaired walls, installed a window, painted. I would recommend them.
