We experienced every homeowners worst nightmare when we hired Liz at Home in New Albany, IN to remodel our bathroom in May 2010. They tiled, cut off door frames so they are no longer flush with the floor. The tub deck wasn't strong enough and the tub wasn't level. They cut a floor joist to install the tub. They had no work permits for electrical and plumbing work and it is all sub par. The shower head and tub faucets couldn't be fastened down tight. The "hand made" cabinets we were sold were in fact machine made and looked like a kid's shop project. They failed to put in an electrical outlet I asked for so she had them cut a hole in the cabinet.

They were professional and everything was done on time. They were done two weeks ahead of schedule. Liz At Home checked on the contractors about every few days. They kept an eye on things. Liz A tHome doesn't do actual work, but they would deliver things. Steve was the main man responsible.

The designers were very thorough. They gave us new floor plan ideas to remodel the upstairs bathroom, library, and a bathroom addition downstairs. They gave us color and fabric ideas for nearly every room in the house and made suggestions for furniture styles. Our primary focus ended up being the kitchen. We decided to have them remodel the entire kitchen after seeing their great ideas. So, more great reports will follow this one I am sure. We had no idea where to begin with a house this old. We got really great ideas that fit the character of our home for a terrific price.

WE ALWAYS HAVE REALLY GOOD EXPERIENCES FROM THEM. LIZ IS REALLY NICE, WE KNOW HER PERSONALLY. I TELL HER A LITTLE BIT AND SHE TAKES WHAT I WANT AND COMES UP WITH A SCHEME.
