Fawbush-Fenwick Hardwood Floors Inc.

I am late providing this review and for that I apologize to Fawbush-Fenwick because they deserved my highest praise! I needed my 60 year old hardwood floors refinished throughout the living room, hallway, and three bedrooms. There were two places in particular that were badly stained from years of pets, plus some deep gouges. On top of that I had attempted to refinish two of the bedrooms myself and just made a mess of it so they had to undo my "work." They were friendly, professional, punctual and kept me apprised of their progress every step of the way (I was living in a different city when the work was being done). The results were way beyond my highest expectations. And probably my favorite part about doing business with them was their enthusiasm for their work! They are passionate about the work they do and have every right to be proud! The pictures I am attaching are not the greatest but hopefully you can see the difference.

They did great work. The floors look amazing. They came when they said they would, they did the work quickly and did a great job cleaning up when they were done. Everything went as they said it would. I highly recommend.

We have a few companies that we would like to recommend. First one: Fawbush and Fenwick Hardwood floors (812.944.7452 or 502.445.2099) After calling SEVERAL flooring places to get an estimate on our floors, we were finally able to get a couple of companies to come out (it took 3 different sets of phone calls and over 6 months). In the end we used Angie’s list and called Fawbush and Fenwick Hardwood floors (812.944.7452 or 502.445.2099). They called us back the SAME day and set up an appointment to check out our floors. They came out at the end of the week and gave us an estimate and talked us through what needed to be done (some of the boards needed to be replaced). Based on their knowledge and EXCELLENT communication, we scheduled an appointment with them about 3 to 4 weeks out. They arrived when they said they would and more importantly, were so proud of the work they were doing (and have done). Their knowledge of the wood particularly in an old home and their ability to blend in a new board with the old boards was amazing. In addition, they were able to tell us about the history of our floors (the oak at least on the 2nd floor was not likely original to the house. They think it was installed 10 to 15 years after the house was built). Anyway, they were amazing and thorough. I would HIGHLY recommend them and plan to use them again in the future. It was a great experience. I called them right after we bought the house and were preparing to move in. They gave us an estimate the very next day. They were able to work us in the same weekend. The price was very reasonable. Everyone thinks our floors look great, including myself.
