As always, Greg did a great job. Every year since he installed the landscaping, he has come back to do refresh work. He is very responsive, incredibly polite and considerate, and his work is fantastic! I will continue to use Greg for my landscaping needs!
Description of Work: Greg did a refresh of my landscaping with new mulch and trimming where needed.

Very responsive to text messaging. Good communicator. Nice job on lawn. Good service. Remembered to shut my double gate after cutting. End of season clean up and final mowing mid-November 2015.
Description of Work: Mowed lawn, edged and weed-eater'd, blew away clippings once a week in early summer, as needed in late summer/fall. Normal sized lot - $40.00 per week.

Greg did an excellent job landscaping my yard. He met with me in early April to consult on what I wanted. I was not sure what I could afford, so I asked him to provide an itemized estimate with options, which I really appreciated. His estimate was exactly what I had budgeted and I thought very reasonable. After the estimate, he said it might take 4-6 weeks to complete the work due to weather and another job ahead of mine. But I was extremely pleased that he was able to complete the work only two weeks after the estimate, much earlier than anticipated. While he was working in my yard, he was incredibly quiet. I work from home, so I was pleasantly surprised. He was so quiet that I did not even realize he had shown up and my dog did not even bark. I thought that was incredibly considerate of him. The finished work improved my yard 100%. Everything was nicely sculpted and really accented my house nicely. I also asked for him to provide me a little space in the landscaping so I could add my own touches since I like to do yard work, which he did. His choice of plants was perfect and the overall work is beautiful. Greg was extremely professional and polite throughout the entire process. I thought he under-promised and over-delivered, which provided a great overall experience. He also provided guidance on how to care for the new landscaping, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend Greg and will definitely continue to use him for the next phase of work in my yard.

For three months they strung me along telling me they would come and work on my yard. They never came. Everytime I emailed them, they gave an excuse and assured me they would be out soon. That never happened.
Description of Work: No services were performed because they wouldn't come to my house.

Response from Bones Lawn
Our company was contacted by the (member name removed)in mid-December to clean their gutters and to get a price for leaf clean-up. The price for the gutters was agreed upon and WE DID SHOW UP within the week of the work being agreed upon and papers signed. We cleaned their gutters and they were very pleased with our service. The price for the leaf clean-up was out of the (member name removed) price range, so I contacted (member name removed) with a cheaper alternative of mulching their leaves rather than removing them. They decided to go with the mulching of the leaves. We let them know that as soon as the weather cooperated, we would be out to do the job. It was late December and the area was experiencing copious amounts rain and wintery mixes. It was explained to (member name removed) that there needed to be a period of dry weather so that the leaves could dry out before the job could be performed. After a few weeks of unfavorable weather, it was explained to the(member name removed) that the leaves could be mulched wet, but that it would leave the yard in a state that is unacceptable to company standards. Most leaf clean-up jobs are performed in October-November when the weather is more favorable and the ground is drier. December, January, and February are usually "wet" months and make it difficult to perform services such as mulching of leaves due to the possibility of rutting the yard and inadequately mulching the leaves. With the extremely large amount of leaves that were on their property, there needed to be adequate drying out time for an acceptable outcome. There was NO STRINGING ALONG FOR THREE MONTHS and NO EXCUSES. We exchanged emails for roughly ONE MONTH from mid-December through January. The contact between both parties drifted off because there had not been any favorable weather. After no further contact was made and since no documents had been signed, I assumed that the (member name removed) either found another company who would perform the service in unfavorable conditions or did the leaf clean-up themselves. I apologize if the (member name removed) felt as if they were being strung along, but we would not have offered them a cheaper alternative and worked within their budget if we had no intention of performing the services requested. They did a great job. He did an awesome job on the powerseeding. He was on time and he gave an estimate. He sent pictures of what he would like to do to the lawn as an estimate and he followed up. He followed up with a thank you for using his services and offered his service for next year. He was very polite, fast and efficient. We called quite a few places before we committed to him. He was a little more expensive than some but we liked what he offered to do. We were satisfied with everything. He was half of some of the bigger companies.
Description of Work: We used Bones Lawns to mow the lawn, weed and he did the leaves. He powerseeded the lawn. He did three trips of leaf removal. He did everything landscaping wise.
