Ables Drywall

Showed up to give us an estimate and told us when he would be able to begin the work. Began the project when he said he would. The job had to be done in two phases so had to come back another day to finish the work. All dates and times were as he stated. Very clean and professional.

All phone communication was done in a timely matter and true to his word. Arrived when stated and did the work with ease and expertise.

I went on Angie's list and found Able's Drywall. He was able to come over the same day and when he saw that the job was pretty small, he said he could come back over later in the day to fix it up. He was punctual, friendly, and professional. The drywall still looks good a year later.

Wayne returned my call only a couple hours after I'd left a message for him and came out to give us a quote the same day. His quote for the work was lower than the other estimates we received. He was prompt, did beautiful work, was very accommodating to our busy moving schedule, and even ended up fixing another small problem that we'd forgotten to mention to him during the original estimate at no additional charge. Wayne is very pleasant and professional and was a welcome presence in our home. He cleaned his work area after finishing. While he was doing drywall repair for us and we were chatting, we discovered his other skills with tile, carpet and painting, so ended up having him give us quotes for some other minor repair work that needed done. We recommend Wayne without reservations and will hire him again for any work that is within his considerable skill set.

Overall this project went very well and very fast. I would definitely recommend this company to friends and family.

Every time has has done work for us it has gone very well.

We were in a big hurry to get all this work done for a number of reasons and Mr. Ables rearranged several things to help us out. He did a fantastic job of everything he took on, showed up exactly when he said he would every time, and delivered on everything he promised. Mr. Ables has done several smaller jobs for us in the past (drywall mostly) and always is reliable and professional. We recommend him highly and will be calling him again!

Contacted the company using the phone number listed on this site. Left a message for contact and never received a call back. Very disappointed in my experience.

He was wonderful. They did okay to get the work done. I would use them in the future.

It did not go well due to failure to reach company when I needed the service.

Wayne came over and gave me an estimate right away and he completed the job soon after. I had a roof leak; part of the living room ceiling and the plaster over the fireplace needed to be replaced. It was a messy job, but he cleaned up so well, you would never have known he was there. It was also a great price for the work. I would highly recommend Wayne.

Wayne Able is a great person to work with. His crew was fast, responsive and responsible. After meeting them, we felt comfortable letting them work in our home without our presence. The drywall was hung quickly and they stayed late several days to insure the work was finished. Despite problems with road access and flooding they completed the job quickly and as promised. Mr. Able even did extra knee wall work that was not in the original agreement for no additional charge. For the size and scope of the job, they did a good job of clean-up. Again, Wayne and his crew were friendly, honest and hard working. I would recommend them to anyone and will use them again.

I got three estimates and went with Ables. In their estimate it sounded like they would have done the job differently then the way they did it. We wanted him to smooth out the wall but instead he put up a piece of board so you can tell that the wall was damaged and we had it repaired. I am not sure if the other guys would have done the job differently so I am not angry, I am just not 100% satisfied. He did do work on two other walls and did great it was just that one wall that did not end up well.

Wayne was very punctual, courteous and fast worker. He did what he promised and showed up when he promised. The platform he made for my washer/dryer is perfect size and makes getting clothes in/out easier. Will definately use him again. It is a pleasure to work with someone that actually shows up when they say they will as we all have crazy schedules these days.

Overall, he did good. It was not perfect and we had to do some touch up before we could paint (skim coat). But , he did a good job for what we needed.

I felt the charges were quite fair, so I agreed to have Ables do the work. He not only did a good job, he even did a little extra work that wasn't in the original estimate, and didn't charge me any more for it. I would definitely hire him again.

We spent under $1,000 and we were reasonable. We liked that they were pleasant to work with and we trusted them being in our home. Their work was comparable to what we paid for. We would also tell others that they were accommodating. It seems like the job was done in a reasonable amount of time. They were late when they came and did the work.

The first time he came in it was on really short notice during Fourth of July weekend and he came out and did it right away and finished the work the same day. When I called the second time he came out in a day or two and also finished the work in one day. It wasn't perfect but it was just as good as anyone else would have done and I think he did a really great job. I am somewhat of a perfectionist.

Wayne was very likable, communicated perfectly, and performed the job very well.

He does good work. He is easy to contact and very flexible.

If I needed to get somebody again, that's who I would get.

Was really worried about drywall problems, as house was for sale. Also worried about cost - tho of course I wanted it to be perfect! It was. (sold the house - no one noticed drywall had been repaired.)

Wayne gave a good estimate and I got the feeling from him that his work would be top notch. It was. The walls which had hundreds of nail holes and imperfection came out great. He stayed on schedule for the most part. Some times the cell phone conversations seemed awkward and a little underprofessional, but I guess when you have a good reputation you can get away with it. Great job Wayne, we will use you again
