I was very happy with Rick's professionalism and his excellent service. When he visited my home, we toured the entire yard. He listened to all of my concerns and talked to me about some issues that I hadn't caught. He provided a very detailed written estimate and performed all of the work according to that estimate.

It was a pleasure working with Mr. Patrick. He was very knowledgeable and explained how the different trees needed to be pruned. There were a lot of trees around our house and in the yard that needed to be pruned and we're very happy with how it all looks. I would call him again if we needed more work done. I also have a small child and I really appreciated how considerate Mr. Patrick was about working around our schedule. After he was done I realized that there was another small tree I wanted taken down and he said he could do that before he left, which I also appreciated.

He did a great job, and we are very happy with the outcome. He was polite from the first time (conversation on the phone to schedule his estimate) till the end (when he came out to work at our yard), always punctual, and has a great professionalism. He is very knowledgeable and always answered my questions with sincerity, and I could totally trust him that he knows what he is doing. I especially liked that he really cares about trees, and that he is always willing to share his knowledge. Overall, he worked very efficiently and effectively (he works alone but he is a very hard worker and doesn't waste any time when he is at work - so he accomplished a lot in a short period of time). I recommend him to anyone who is looking for a real, trustworthy arborist. (But please note that since he works solo, he doesn't do cutting down big trees that requires a bigger machines and more workers. But if your need is pruning smaller to medium-height trees and cutting down small trees or big shrubs, he is a perfect fit.)

He performed the service ahead of schedule. He was very understanding when I forgot to mail is payment. He was very polite on the phone, accommodating and did an excellent job. He cleaned up the mess and was helpful in suggesting what to plant in the future.

We were very happy! This was not a big job but Mr. Patrick is genuine in doing his best regardless of the size of the job. He has shown himself to be not only a very professional person to do business with but also a man of character and integrity. I have worked with other tree services that were good but Mr. Patrick goes beyond good. He does CARE about your trees, his customers, and being a good businessman and individual. It is gratifying to have businesses such as this in our community!

Rick showed up on time, was ready to get to work, and completed the work promptly. He is very knowledgeable in matters concerning trees, and he provided information that will helpus make decisions in the future regarding replacement trees. In fact, we will very likely hire him to consult on the work and perhaps oversee the tree installation.

Rick was called about a month ago... and he stated he was booked up for 4-6 weeks out. He called the day before he came out to confirm we still wanted his service. He showed up on time and even called about 20 minutes out. Arrived, trimmed everything that was over-grown and cleaned up and chipped everything he took off. Did a nice job... it looks so much better.

Rick works alone and is very diligent. He worked most of the day when it was extremely hot & humid, but stuck with it til the job was done. He is competent with his pruning skills and is also a very nice person. I would not hesitate to call him again for other tree jobs.

Contacted me quickly after I requested information and a quote on Angie's List. He was able to come out in a few days to access the work and give a quote. Did a great job and cleaned up after he was done too. Would recommend to friends, family and anyone on Angie's List.

I liked Rick very, very much. He was there the next morning after I called up, and we had a great personal talk after he had surveyed my dogwood tree problem (four of them next to the courtyard in my back yard are on their last legs). He told me that he would cut one tree down, trim the dead branches on the other trees, and trim other trees that are on my property. Rick is a certified arborist (very rare) who knows his trees. Rather than doing some expensive fertilizing of the dying trees, he saved me a lot of money by telling me that the tree-life of dogwoods is about forty years. The trees had been planted exactly 40 years ago! Rick told me that there were a few other customers in line ahead of me, so I'd have to wait. I assumed that the waiting period would be a month or so, but in fact he did not come back and do the work for three months! That was not a big deal for me, but I thought that it was strange that he was not more specific in warning me of such a long wait time. Or, as his jobs turned out to be larger than he'd expected, that he didn't call to tell me that there would be a delay before he could get to my trees. It was probably my fault that I didn't check with Rick on this, but when he told me that he would bring one tree down, I'd thought that he meant he would also remove the stump. It didn't happen, and my son and his friend spent a good long while on that project. I would not want to wait as long the next time, if I should need tree service in the future.

Rick came to my place to discuss what needed to be done. He recommended a specific way of pruning the Bradford Pear tree in my front yard, surveyed the tree branches to be chipped, as well as the trunk sections to be hauled away in the backyard. He wrote up an estimate for me of $280, which I accepted, and we agreed he would call the day before he wanted to do the job, as he was waiting for the ground in the back yard to dry out sufficiently so his equipment would not tear up the lawn. He called about a week later to tell me the time was right, and he completed the job the next day while I was at work. All was done as we had agreed, and the tree, chip pile, and yard all looked great! Rick knows his trees, is a very pleasant guy to work with, and does a super job! From previous experience, if the job is larger than he can handle himself, he can refer you to the right people at the right price. He's my #1 tree man!

In September 2011, Rick removed two trees (a tulip-poplar and a black walnut) from our front yard and removed six Rose of Sharon bushes from around the house. My husband and I were totally impressed with the price charged, Rick's promptness in completing the work, the thorough and excellent job he performed, and the exceptional clean-up of all debris. Also important to us was how personable he was and his willingness to chat and answer questions. When he was done with the work, I asked him about another tree on our property that did not look healthy. Rick explained the problem and pruned the tree without charging anything for the extra work. Based on his wonderful performance, there was no question who I would call for the current job. I left a message on his voice mail on Thursday, March 14. He not only returned my call the same day, but came to the house that day to give me an estimate. When I said I would like him to do the job, he indicated he could come out sometime the following week and that he would call to arrange a time. On Monday, March 18 he called to set up Tuesday, March 19 for the work and on Tuesday morning he called before coming out. Rick was exactly as I had remembered him. He obviously cares about his customers, is willing to share his vast knowledge of trees, and is an all-around nice man. This is in addition to doing excellent work and leaving the yard in great shape. His clean-up was so thorough that he not only cleaned up debris from the lawn, but also used a leaf blower on the street to remove seed pods and debris. I cannot say enough good things about the quality and pleasantness of the service Rick provides. When he left, I felt as if I was saying goodbye to a friend instead of "hired help." You cannot go wrong by hiring Rick.

He was careful, clean, and left everything immaculate. He had earlier taken down a huge tree, and he came with enough help to take care of a big job. He did an excellent job. He was here when he said he would be here, and he did what he said he would do. I have had tree people on and off, and his charges were very acceptable.

It all went very well, and I went with the tree service that he recommended.

Rick is a busy guy and was worth the wait on scheduling. He spent time walking our yard and discussing what needed to be pruned and how. His knowledge was impressive his care in doing the work drew favorable comments even from neighbors. One neighbor commented that "if everyone had the work ethic of that guy, the economy would be in great shape." He worked at our home for about three days and worked non-stop other than a break for lunch each day. All of the work was done by him personally. We wished we'd been there to watch him take down the Black Cherry tree and do some of the pruning. His professionalism and quality of work far surpassed any tree work we've had done in years past. Our highest recommendation is easy to give. Thank you Rick, for the wonderful service and at such a reasonable price. You won't go wrong if you contact Rick. I never wrote a check that was so worth the cost!

Rick is a capable, affordable professional who is selective on which jobs he will accept. I needed removal of a dying 60 ft. spruce tree. He referred me to one of his former associates who promptly, carefully and politely did the work on time and under budget.

Rick gave me the lowest quote and I am very pleased with his service. He was prompt and professional.

We are very pleased with the service Rick provided. He always responded to our phone calls in a timely fashion. He came out promptly and gave us an estimate and explained that he was very busy due to the recent storms/tornado and that it would be awhile before he could get to us. To our surprise, he was able to come earlier than expected to perform the work. He did a great job! He made sure we understood exactly what he planned to do after listening to what our expectations were. Great communication! He arrived when he said he would. The job took almost two days to complete. He had originally planned to do the work in two days but on the first day he arrived, he asked if he could skip the next day because one of his customers had an emergency and he wanted to accomodate that customer. That was fine with us. It's nice to know that he takes care of his customers when they have an emergency! He came back and completed the job when he said he was going to. He also was very informative and explained to us why he was doing what he was doing to the trees he was pruning. All in all, a great experience with an excellent arborist!

I didn?t use their services because I thought they were too expensive. It was way out of line. They quoted me $185 an hour to remove brush. The owner came out and checked out what I wanted done. Later, he gave me an estimate. He was professional. He was not pushy. He did not follow up on the quote. He was supposed to be an arborist, with that particular knowledge. I didn?t need him for that service. I needed him to remove brush, which he also does. For that kind of service in my area, I felt his quote was outrageous. It was not okay for what he was going to do for me. I will not consider him in the future, unless I have a requirement for his specific skills that only he could provide.
