Advanced Restoration & Waterproofing

Description of Work: Came and did a quick inspection and a lot of explanation. I appreciated the explanation, though thought the inspection itself seemed rather cursory. Still, inspector seemed to grasp the state of things quickly. Provided an estimate for work done. I had requested an estimate for demo-ing and replacing a porch ahead of time as well, and he informed me that the owner would have to come out and look at it, so only demo-ing was quoted and not replacement. This could have been taken into account when the inspection was scheduled, another visit will have to be scheduled for this now. Also, the work suggested was beyond my financial means, but no alternatives were offered. This is not necessarily a bad thing if the entire service is absolutely necessary, but leaves me without options for the time being.

Description of Work: Advanced Restoration & Waterproofing got into my crawl space and drained water out. They also were going to use water vapor insulation.

Description of Work: prompt professional work. Mike Bird was knowledgeable and responsive to questions or phone calls. quality of work was very good and accurate to the time line estimated. very pleased.

Description of Work: They installed a new backup sump pump and installed a new pipe to reroute both primary and backup pumps from the pits across the basement ceiling and out the opposite side of the house and out 15 feet or so to a drainage ditch. The work crew arrived when scheduled and completed the work within the four hour window estimated. Though we haven't had a heavy rain yet to test the system, all seems to be well done and in good order. There was one glitch. In reviewing the job after the install, we discovered one of our CFL lightbulbs had been broken and had not been cleaned up. We called Mike, who immediately apologized. He explained that an oversight like this is not common and not acceptable to him and offered to come over and clean it up himself (on a Friday evening). We told him we would clean it up,but thanked him for his attentiveness. I have no doubt this was a rare occurrence and not typical. I recommend Mike and his team and would hire them again.

Description of Work: Followed up on a special offer for an assessment of my foundation and crawl space. I could not have asked for a more professional and responsive organization. There was a glitch in the scheduling but they were right on it and immediately resolved the problem. I will have some follow up work done through them. (A family member, who is an engineer, came from out of state for a visit and supported everything they told me, including the optimum improvement options.) So they were further validated by someone who knows much more than I do.!!! My hat is off to them!
