Description of Work: I bought a big deal on Angies list to inspect the house for possible foundation problems and also get a quote for fixing a leak. Mark came on time, and was polite, he was able to root cause problems pretty quickly, and also pointed out several problems around the foundation of the house. He sent me an email with a quote, however, the quote was pretty simplified, and ignored a problem I was concerned about, I sent him an email asking questions about the quote several days ago, and never heard any reply back, which makes me pretty disappointed, I was expecting a detailed professional quote and got a very simplified word table, and if you are expecting me to spend several thousand dollars to do the work, at least answer my questions...

Description of Work: I purchased the Big Deal on Sunday 4/21. Mike Bird of Advanced Restoration and Waterproofing called me at 7:00 Monday morning and arranged to be here at 11:00. He arrived promptly. I showed him the problem - water seeping through the cracks of my concrete block basement wall and a broken sump pump drain line. He explained what needed to be done to correct the problem and gave me a quote for doing so.

Description of Work: We had them do a review of the crawl space of the house, drainage around the foundation, and provide a report to us of possible changes we could make to get better drainage. Was very satisfied with the service, and would use them again.

Description of Work: We had called Mike due to a water problem in our basement..after Mike presented several solutions, we decided to have an outdoor drainage system installed. His crew was very professional and very hard working. We did have one small issue on the project which was corrected the following day. We are very satisfied with the work that was done and will call him back for another project.

Description of Work: I paid for the review of my basement/drainage issues. All they seemed to want to do was sell their system and dry out my basement. They did not evaluate my drainage situation and what the external factors that contributed to my dampness issues. I paid $50.00, for the evaluation and frankly all i got was a review and an estimate for over $7000.00, in repairs.

Description of Work: ARW gave me the best estimate and began work in my crawl space immediately. They got the materials and were on time and finished as scheduled.They had to lay new concrete pillars and floor beams in the crawl due to terminte damage. Mike noticed mold and took care of this as part of his strong work ethic in doing it right the first time.They took pride in the cleaning of the area and once completed made sure the moisture barrier was sufficient to meet code.All of his workers were dedicated and they all worked as a team.I would recommend ARW for any restoration and water proofing. Description of Work: Noservice was performed because after the inspection the company did not contact me again. I know we have some issues because they were pointed out to me but the techinican said he would email me an estimate and that's the last I heard from him. I do find this a little surprising since overall he was very detailed with his explanations of the problems.

Description of Work: Luke came out because I purchased the $49 groupon for the inspection as we had some mold in our basement and we wanted to find out the source of the water causing the mold. Teri who made the appointment was very kind and accomadating, we were even able to get scheduled for a Sunday. He was here around an hour and looked at our whole foundation from the outside and inside. Thoroughly explained our problem, then wrote out a quote to fix the job. Very professional and knowledgable the whole way through. We haven't decided yet if we will do the work because of finances, but if we do we will definitely have Advanced Restoration do it. Thanks!
