It went fine and it was pretty much a good deal. They suggested additional work and provided a quote but we decided that we weren't ready to do that and they did not continue to push so that was nice. They were very prompt and everything was fine.

Installed gorilla bars against a basement wall and two French drains in flower beds. Very punctual, no extra charge when they discovered more mold than they expected and had to tear out significant dry wall and treat. Excellent communication. Because they were the only provider in the area, I did not get other bids.

The technician was using his GPS and couldn’t find my address. He ended up having the wrong zip code. He called me and was hour late to my appointment. The gentleman came and completed the inspection just as I purchased. He was very courteous, nice, thorough, and did his job when he was here. He explained that he would write it up and would get back to me within a couple of days. However, it took him about five weeks to get the estimate back to me. When I got the estimate, it was absolutely outrageous in price, and I was dissatisfied with his follow through. After talking with the representative from Angie's List, she informed me that she would have him call me and it never happened.

Unfortunately, we were unable to have the service performed at this time but do plan on calling them in the future when the tome is right.

This big deal is a rip-off. Wish we hadn't have spent the money. This should have been a free estimate. The representative was definitely not pushy, but we really didn't feel like he knew what he was talking about. We tried a different route which we were much more satisfied with.

I purchased an Angie's List Deal and they came out and inspected my basement. Excellent inspection. They gave me a proposal for work to be done but I chose not to do it at the time.

We called to set up the appointment and had a minor issue with scheduling. We had to modify the appointment time because he was having issues with his phone which he needed to work properly in order to do the assessment. They came through the house inside and out and looked at everything. They provided us with an estimate and written report to fix the water problem in the basement which is another $8000. They left a comprehensive report of what all needed to be done and why along with recommendations. We scheduled the service with them as a standby which is an additional 10% savings.

The technician that came to the house was very nice but his objective was sell his waterproofing system instead of the actual assessment. His presentation was a canned speech and did not really tell me anything.

Service was excellent all the way! Marty came to my house for an estimate, he understood my needs very well: get the water issue fixed in my crawlspace before closing that was in 10 days. I wasn't sure the buyers would go to closing though so he told me about the 5y warranty for the pump and the 25y "dry crawlspace" limited warranty that would surely help me sell the house if I'd lose the current buyers. They also took care of the mold with a 1 year warranty at the same time and that saved me a lot of money. All that convinced me to sign with them rather than with another company. A couple days later Janet called me, it was on Saturday and she was heading to my house with the crew - I didn't know and I was happy they would do the job so quickly. The crew worked all day and did a good job. The system they were using to protect the floor/stairs wasn't efficient so Janet told them to remove their shoes. They didn't plug the pump because I was supposed to provide the electrical cord but I didn't have any so they called their manager and they provided an electrical cord of theirs (good because I didn't want to go to the crawlspace myself to plug in the cord later). Mike, the manager, sent me an invoice right away. I made sure it stated the warranty. Everything went fine. I highly recommend Advanced Restoration and Waterproofing. Great customer service I would say.

We purchased a big deal on Angie's list for basement inspection with a specific emphasis on a musty smell coming from crawl and small leak coming from the basement wall/floor. He was extremely professional and pointed out that the smell was a result of the vapor barrier exposing the gravel floor of the crawl space but noted no other issue with the crawl space. The small leak at the floor under the window well was attributed to a crack in the wall. The prescribed work would include excavating to the base of the basement at the window well, sealing and wrapping the crack and refilling the excavated area. He also indicated that the drain pipe in the window well was clogged and that two other drains in the yard were clogged. To fix the leak, the cost was approximately $3,500. He did indicate that if we authorized the work, they would also look into the drain issue. After a conversation with my husband, we determined that this seemed like an extensive process without knowing for sure what the issue was. There wasn't a conversation with ARW about opening up the interior wall to see if there was, in fact, a crack or if the clogged drain pipes were at fault. It is a very small leak and this seemed like an extensive solution to what might be a small issue. We continue to explore our options. In any event, we feel that this deal was really more of a sales call than an actual inspection.

I paid for a service that I never received. It's been a whole year and have yet to hear from this company. I need to work on getting my money back. Update: I was contacted by the operating manager of this company and he apologized for the mistake. He rectified the situation and I am very satisfied with the end results. I already had my project completed but would definitely consider this company for any future opportunities.

They provided an estimate for the drainage work that needs to be done at our home. They will begin the work in a few weeks. Courteous, prompt and informative. We look forward to the drainage issues being resolved. Thank you!

The workers turned up when we expected them .. it was the next day. They did a very good job. They removed the damp insulation and put down a vapor barrier. The mold was treated. The crawl space now looks perfect. They replaced the downspouts with extensions buried 15 feet from the gutter. Mulch was added to raise the areas. Everywhere was left very tidy. A great team, I highly recommend them.

Mike and company placed seven piers to stabilize settling in a corner of our house. They also enlarged and created a locked cover for the crawl space access. In the attic they fortified the roof to code. |I can't overstate the regard I have for Mike and Company. Mike took all the time necessary to answer questions, even as they occurred to me after the initial appraisal. I had estimators from four reputable companies and Mike was the most thoughtful and thorough and made suggestions that I believe were based on honest concern about the integrity of the structure. |The work was completed promptly and the work site was cleaned up. One of the advantages of using the Stabil Loc piering system is that they were able to work inside the crawl space instead of outside, so there was less disruption. This system was one of the reasons I chose ARW; it puts the foundation load directly over the pier. |I would advise anyone with potential foundation problems to give Mike and ARW a chance.

Two days, professional crew, we had 2 inches of rain on Halloween and basement was dry. I did not get any other bids, so I do not know how competitive price was. Only problem is I did not receive any printed books on sump pumps, maintenance, etc. but maybe they were not necessary.

Mike was thorough with his inspection and listened well to my description of the situation and my questions. He was straightforward and honest and told me that I could take care of the problem myself and he told me how to do it. It was fun, but I ended up saving thousands of dollars and appreciated not having to rip out my walls as many other companies recommended.

When very well, very professional and knowledgeable. I have complete confidence that they would do a great job.

It was not so hot. They were supposed to inspect my basement but they didn't. I could not get a hold of them. I couldn't get an appointment. They were late. He didn't even inspect the whole basement. I wouldn't recommend them. I wouldn't use them in the future.

work will be started soon. first contact was with Marty Manzier and he was very nice and also informative. I hope that the rest of the staff is as nice. I have heard that they are and am looking forward to meeting them. I am an elderly lady and depend on the honesty of others and felt that Marty was very honest with me.

It was an Angie's List Big deal that we purchased. They did a very good job. They are very professional. Some of the problem was to correct how the work was done in the first place when we built this house. I got the idea that this wasn't the first time he saw anything like this. He was able to formulate a plan. He was really professional. The pricing seemed fair but I've never had this type of work done before. He was definitely responsive. He will be the guy we use when we do the work.

Installed waterproof shielding against outside foundation wall. They also installed a water catching drain system and attached it to an existing buried gutter downspout drain. Tuck point work on inside garage concrete block restored appearance. The repair fixed the problem. The cleanup of the outside area was a bit unfinished because they had to dig in several spots to locate the underground gutter downspout drain. When they replaced the soil and sod over the holes, it wasn't exactly level so I had to redo it.

I met with the boss of the company and he looked over the land where I am located. He didn't look at the basement or foundation of the house because of the "BIG" water issues I face in the land and surrounding property. He gave me some advice on where to start with the problem and told me to ask for a refund since he didn't do a report for my basement and foundation. I have to deal with "bigger issues" before we can even begin on the basement and/or foundation. I was very happy with the company (didn't like the news) but I feel he was very trustworthy and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him and when I am to the point will contact his company to use.

The service was fine. I don't know if I would recommend them based on the estimate done. For the price, it's not a good deal if you don't go with the company for their work. If we decide to go with the company, it's an 'A', the $50 is very much part of the value of it and you would also get a $100 off if you decide to use them to do the work. We haven't made a decision yet on which company but overall it was a really great experience. If we decide not to go with them, maybe it was expensive. They did an excellent estimate, it is like the most comprehensive one we've gotten so far.
