Description of Work: They moved an old chain link fence and gate and installed a new decorative aluminum fence and gate. When I called to make the appointment I was given a website to consult about the styles of aluminum fence available so that I was somewhat prepared when I met with the person preparing the quote. He gave detailed explanations of what would be done and why and showed me a sample of the fence. The two men who installed the fence were very efficient and careful. Everyone I dealt with from start to finish was punctual and professional at all times. It was a good experience.

+ -1 moreWe contacted Mikes for our original installation in may and were told that due to already scheduled jobs, our job would be about 4 weeks out, which we agreed to. About 11/2 weeks later, they called and said that a job had cancelled and they could install ours the upcoming Saturday which was 2 weeks ahead of schedule! We were pleasantly surprised! They were scheduled for 8:00 a.m. and arrived at 7:30 and promptly started the job. The 2 man crew were very professional and obviously knew their trade well. The installation went smoothly and quickly and we are extremely happy with the results.
Description of Work: After original installation, we had storm damage which was repaired by Mikes Fencing in July. They replaced some of the chain link as well as some top railing.

+ -1 moreVERY pleased with my new fence. They discussed with me what I wanted and what I needed. Ended up with a 6' board to board privacy fence which matches the stockade type fence on the other side of my log cabin but is strong enough to hold my dog, when I get her.

+ 0 moreThey created a custom over-size gate that had a complicated attachment and as well as a significant slope at the bottom. The estimator considered a number of design factors that were involved in the job from the outset. When the gate was created there was a minor issue and before they even presented their final work to us, they took steps to correct the problem. I was very impressed with the very pro-active approach. They did a top-notch job!
Description of Work: They created a fifteen foot chain-link fence with a major slope at the bottom. There were issues with how the gate would attach and how it would be supported.

Description of Work: Mike's installed our black chain link fence in 1992 and we were extremely happy with the results. This time we needed a section temporarily removed so heavy excavation equipment could get into the back yard. They took a section down a few days before the start date and left additional fencing to cover the opening, but it could easily be rolled back to let the equipment in. They checked back during the construction to reinstall the opening. The day the equipment was removed, they came and fixed the fence and tensioned the wires on it. The next day we got a bunch of snow, so the timing was perfect. We've had this fence for 20 years and it still looks great. A year or two ago a large branch fell on the fence, damaging the top rail. I picked up a replacement at Mike's and fixed it myself. They cut the length in half with fitting ends so I could get it home and then connected the two pieces together to get the single length. Every time we've dealt with Mike's they have exceeded our expectations. Very highly recommended.

+ -1 moreMike's Fencing was able to advance the installation date by a couple of days, so we were pleased. The installers arrived on time, verified with us the correct position of the fence and began the work. The entire installation took around 6 hours. There were no problems to speak of. The workers were professional and courteous. The end result is a great looking and secure fence for our three dogs. Although Mike's Fencing wasn't the lowest quote we received, they were VERY responsive. I spoke with Katelyn several times for arrangements and payment. Every time I called, someone picked up the phone. I can't say that about the other contractors we contacted. Overall A+
Description of Work: In the summer of 2009 we decided to have a fence built in the back yard for the security of our dogs. There are several fence contractors in our area, however Mike's Fencing was recommended by a relative. I contacted them and spoke with Craig(?) about a site survey and a quote. After we hung up, Craig appeared on our doorstep in 30 minutes! The quote was midway between the three quotes we received from other contractors. At our request, Mike's Fencing provided references of their work based on the type of fence we wanted. We were happy with what we saw, so we booked a date for installation.
