 + 0 moreAdam had encountered the same problem numerous times at units in my neighborhood so he knew exactly what was wrong and how to fix it. He arrived with everything he needed and was finished within an hour. He was friendly and courteous. The charge for the repair was less than I expected.
Description of Work: Diagnosed and repaired problem with gas water heater. Replaced pressure release valve and overpressure tank.

Description of Work: My sump pump failed during spring storms. Called around and Adam was the only one to call me back. Came at 8 o clock at night. Was completely prepared very professional and installed a new sump pump. Would definitely use again. Highly recommend.

 + -1 moreHe was very good and his prices were reasonable. He did a good job. Everybody told me it was a two men job, but he ended up doing it by himself. He was very prompt. He was very punctual. His price was very good. He was professional and a friendly guy. He did all the plumbing with PVC. The guy's name was Adam. He was in and out in two hours. It was done very well.
Description of Work: Adams Plumbing Services Inc installed a new 40 gallons of electric water heater. He also put in a fan, so it helps with the flow in the water heater.

 + -1 moreIt was great service and shocked the price was not higher especially for a weekend.
Description of Work: I needed a plumber fast because the water was seeping in from the basement floor when we used the washer and flushed the toilet. I called Adams Plumbing and left a message of what was happening. He called me back (on a Saturday) w/i 15 minutes and told me he thought it was the main sewer and didn't do that kind of work but Vic's Drain Cleaning in Hammond IN (219.844.6810) would be able to help. I called Vic's and Bonnie answered. She told me she didn't know how the jobs were coming along for Vic but she would try to get him to come see me. He showed up 2 hours later fixed the sewer for $125 which is what Adam thought he would charge. I was so relieved!!!! And by the way, this was on a Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would recommend Adam for being honest and Vic for a great service.

 + -1 moreI called Adam early on Monday morning (8:00 AM) and he answered the phone immediately. He was able to come by that afternoon and fix the valve so that the dishwasher could be installed. He was courteous and efficient. He looked at the issue, had the tools to fix the job and did it very fast. I could not ask for better service. Adam returned to look at my water heater two days later, I thought it was the coil but he realized it needed a good vaccuuming in the vent. He was able to relight it and also told me how to contact the company should this happen again. He could have told me I need a new coupler, but he was honest and noted that it was not necesary. Again, same day service with a smile.
Description of Work: I had ordered an new diswasher and it could not be installed by the store because my shut off valve was broken under my sink. I also have him back two days later when my hot water heater would not light.

 + -1 moreAdam was booked as we placed our online order for the Toto toilet. Once we were in receipt of the toilet we confirmed with Adam an install date. Adam came promptly and themes toilet was installed and the old one was taken away by Adam. The complete exchange of the toilets was just over an hour.
Description of Work: Installed a Toto toilet that we purchased. Adam is the most meticulous plumber that we've had the experience to work in our house. He removed our old toilet and replaced a part that was not functioning.

The next time we called we were having a problem where all our drains were clogged and I called and told him my husband would get off work by 3:30 and he met him at the house.

 + -1 moreWe called and left a message that we would like a estimate, left our phone number. He returned our call, came out and gave us the estimate. Which was $200 less then the plumber we always used in the past. The plumber we used in the past when I showed him where I wanted it told me no can't put it there, when he saw I was not happy suddenly changed to ok we can do it. Adams came out did the job never said anything about location. He was very Professional, He even gave us a freeze resistant faucet. Thanks Angies list we saved $200 and got a freeze resistant faucet.

Description of Work: Our family has used Adam's Plumbing for the last 3-4 years. He has done small jobs as well as large jobs. Last May, he installed a new toilet and a new water filter device. Adam will sit with you and explain the various options and he will allow you to make the decision with the information he has provided. He is conscientious, dependable and hard working. He will respond to calls usually the same day. He even completed work in my son's bathroom that another contractor did not complete.

 + -1 moreAdam of Adam's Plumbing was recommended by a coworker who is a commercial plumber. Adam was responsive to phone messages and arrived on site when he was scheduled. His estimate was 20% below the other 2 estimates received. His invoice matched his estimate. There were no changes. He split the billing in proportion to the amount of work roughly 75% upon completion of rough-in and the remainder upon completion of trimming out. I supplied all of the fixtures, Adam supplied pipe, connection hoses, etc. Adam verified all options were what I desired and checked with his suppliers for special parts such as an extended length wrench for the fireplace gas shut-off. He was always cheery and professional to work with.
Description of Work: Rough-in and trim for shower, toilet, sink, washer and dryer, and gas fireplace connections in residential addition. Replaced kitchen faucet. Tested back-up sump pump battery. Walked through with city plumbing inspector.
