Over a period of about a year and a half, this company managed to collect approximately $8000.00 from me while doing very little for that payment. I had been in need of pond renovation, and happened to encounter this company at a home and garden show, advertising just such a service. I must admit, they did a good job with the initial cleanup, although I had to call them repeatedly due to their failure to show up for appointments. This arranging/no show/re-arranging went on for some weeks, but when they finally drained the pond, they really did get all the algae and weeds out with vigorous power washing. It looked quite pristine, really, but then everything took a turn for the worse with additional projects (replacing waterfall pumps, re-structuring the raceways of each waterfall). First of all, I should point out that they do not have any invoices of any sort, everything happens by verbal agreement. Secondly, they have no email or functioning website. Thirdly, if you call, everything goes straight to voicemail and they will return your call. These signs alone should have been some warning. In dribs and drabs, they would show up periodically over months, and explain that the project was a bit more involved than originally thought, and they would require another amount of money ($1500, $2000, $500--this happened repeatedly). They did redo the raceway of one waterfall, but they never did do the other, even though I paid for it. I paid in two consecutive years for a full 12 months of maintenance, to keep my pond from again becoming weedy, but if they ever did anything, I never saw any evidence of it, as weeds continued to spring up and spread just as before, while they did nothing to clear them out. They replaced one of the waterfall pumps with a much more feeble one that completely failed to keep up. When I complained, they said they would replace it with a different one but they never did. They kept pushing for other projects--landscaping, hardscaping--but I never saw any evidence that they could handle even what I had already paid them for, so I was hesitant. When I finally balked at the price of moving some stepping stones and mulching, we agreed to a lower price, and then they did a very mediocre job which was not in keeping with the agreement, and I haven't heard from them since. They still owe me work that I paid for and they never completed. As of right now, my pond is as weedy as it originally was and neither waterfall works. This is what you get for $8000.00 from this company.
