Sonny's Painting

Sonny did a great job painting my 2-story Craftsman home. It hadn't been maintained properly and was in rough shape; Sonny worked diligently until it was finished even though it took him longer than he thought it would and he had to order additional paint 3 times. It looks wonderful now and I'm very happy with it and I've received many comments about how great the house looks. I would definitely hire him all over again!

Sonny did an awesome job! He was extremely responsive to my questions, always prompt, assisted in moving items...I can't say enough good about his work. His work was extremely clean, and at the end of every day his tools were neatly in a corner out of the way. Sonny is an outstanding carpenter and professional. He made great suggestions and was focused on each job. I thought the combined projects might take 2 weeks. He accomplished and finished in 6 days. Sonny is trustworthy, dependable and reasonable. He's worth every penny because every job is done correctly. I have used Sonny's Painting exclusively the last ten years. He keeps clients informed on a daily bases regarding arrival and projects. He is the neatest workman and cleans up daily. Never , ever, have I had to clean up after his work and that in itself is highly valuable

Sonny offered options that I hadn't thought of and yet didn't destroy the budget. When I was unsure of materials, he met me at Menards and Lowes to select materials and review the project. He re- moved sink/vanity, drywalled, painted , installed tile, trim, new vanity/sink, linen closet His craftsmanship and professional is outstanding. The bathroom is lovely! Another job well done. In fact so we'll done, we're embarking on another bathroom

He was always prompt in returning calls and worked to finish the painting in a timeline we needed. He did amazing work! By far the best painter I have worked with! I would definitely work with him again!

Didn't hire quote was overpriced

Sonny was quick to respond to our initial inquiry. He came out to look at the house, offered helpful suggestions and submitted a reasonable bid. He accommodated our schedule. The work was top notch and he added some extras (door and trim) without additional cost. Very professional, quite helpful and no surprises. I'd recommend him for your painting needs.

Outstanding work by Sonny!!!! He is such a professional! Kept me informed the entire project so that we could make informed decisions. At the end of each day, you would never know a repairman was working. Without a doubt, the neatest painter, repairman and professional I have ever used. Painted 2 garage doors and door trim. Not one drop of paint on the ground. He's the best! I can't imagine using anyone else!!!! In fact, I'm already planning another project with Sonny.

Sonny did an excellent job. He was friendly & professional, a pleasure to work with. The job was completed in a timely manner & looks beautiful. Even patched up a wall I had previously painted for no extra charge.

He removed wallpaper in the bathroom and repaired the walls so they were very smooth for the paint. The bedroom walls needed patching and smoothing out which he did beautifully. This is not the first time we have called upon Sonny and it certainly won't be the last. He is so good at what he does! He is so careful to clean up before he leaves , and is not the least bit intrusive while doing his work each day. It was not hard to go about our regular routine while he was working. Sonny is the BEST painter we have ever had. He is a perfectionist, always on time, cleans up so you can't believe he was even there that day, does a fantastic job, AND is totally reasonable in price. We will definitely use his services again, and I strongly recommend him to anyone needed an excellent painter.

I would recommend Sonny unconditionally. He power washed our old aluminum siding first . He followed that with an impeccable paint job. He is very attentive to detail and is a perfectionist. Sonny shows up on time, and puts in a very long day of work . The only break I saw him take was at lunch, and it was very hot when he worked here. He is super mindful of taking care to keep any mess to a minimum, and always cleans up after himself. Sonny is very congenial, and is a consummate professional. I had heard horror tales about other painters which made me nervous about hiring someone. Sonny is AWESOME!he covers windows and other things on the house that you don't want paint on. I can't say enough about his painting. He is extremely knowledgeable about color and paint. We will definitely hire him again. I am a person who is normally reluctant to recommend anyone for anything, but you can not go wrong with Sonny Gimenez. He is the best!

My wife and I purchased a 120-year old house in the country which needed many repairs and walls painted before we could move-in. We had all sorts of contractors and service people walking through the house doing many types of repairs and services. Of all the people we hired, Sonny was the only contractor who did not let us down! We fired a previous painter due to low quality of work and slowness issues. I found Sonny on Angie's List and he lived up to his A rating. He moved through the house quickly leaving behind beautifully painted walls and trim. His services are not cheap, but they are reasonable for the quality and swiftness of the work performed. I would hire him again and recommend him to others without hesitation.

Sonny was very professional, courteous, and fun to be around. He was never in the way, and accommodated our schedules and activities. He work was virtually perfect. I would hire him again without any reservations. He's a good man, besides!

He was on time, started immediately and did not stop other than a 30 minute lunch. He explained everything he was going to do and even suggested colors when my wife and I were not sure what we wanted in one of the rooms. He was "right on" with his suggestion and the house look like it is straight out of a home decorating magazine! He did not spill even one drop of paint! I don't know how he did it. He was in and out and finished with the job even before the time that he had estimated. I have never experienced such a professional in any field. He is GREAT!

I called Sonny and made an appointment, he was right on time. He told me when he would come and he was always there. He never went over his estimates unless I asked for additional work. We were going to have him do one room and we ended up doing 3 because he did such a great job. We have contracted with Sonny on 3 different projects over several years: 1. Living room, hall, bathroom, and kitchen 2. Bedroom 3. Entry way and another bedroom He cleary explained options and provided guidance in regards to cost and options He was flexible in working to our schedule which is not easy. He was always accurate in the time it would take from start to finish His cleanup far exceeded my expectations, especially on the skim coat project Bottom line: Sonny is the ultimate professional!
