Shroyer could not come on site for at least 6 weeks, so we had to go to their office with water samples. They were extremely helpful in advising us and our pool was beautiful for our big Labor Day party.

Family owned business. Very professional. Reasonably priced. Prompt service. Have used them prior to this year to replace liner and maintenance on pool.

I have used Shroyers for opening and closing my outdoor inground pool for 20 years. They are reliable and do excellent work. Last summer they replaced the liner and the results were flawless. Our indoor pool equipment was leaking last winter, and they repaired the leak. Pools are a luxury, especially in Indiana where the weather is so variable, so I am always surprised when consumers are looking for a bargain with pool company service. I want it done right the first time and expect to pay a fair price. I would never make a choice based on the lowest bid. My advice would be to plan in advance for opening and closing ( I open May 1 and close October 1 every year). I leave the closing/opening equipment out the night before, put the dogs up, and they have NEVER missed. Be very clear about your expectations and ask for their advice. They are good people, Tom, Vicki, Missy, and crew . . a family business. One thing I love about them: they know my name when I go into the store, and that is worth a lot to me. Additional note: very cute handmade jewelry and inexpensive tie dye dresses in store.

We had called for a quote regarding having our pool opened and was given a quote of about $250 with chemicals included in the service. When the bill arrived, the charges totaled more over $400. When we called to question why the bill was so much more than the estimate, they accused us of lying about the phone quote, rather than apologizing and explaining the charges properly. Highly unprofessional manner of handling the situation.
