Description of Work: I bought a house in Muncie. I live out of state and was having popcorn finish removed from ceilings by a local person I knew. I hired Joel to help me complete other things in the house, painting and doors ordered, we went through the house and he suggested a lot of work, I ended up emailing him a list room by room of what I wanted done. I also told him I was on a tight budget. And needed an estimate. When I arrived to the house, the ceilings were painted, and there were six guys, a couple guys were painting beams that I had email specifically that I wanted sable brown, they were white...walls in the same room were cream colored and a closet in the same room was left dark stained, not painted...and as I went around to each room, it got worse, doors were missing and not ordered, he lied to me about ordering them, in my master I have no idea where my original doors are and he never ordered the ones he said he ordered. In another room that I said to leave the closet alone in, he ripped out the shelves and doors are also gone, I am now left with a rough opening and no doors. It has now been a few months and I'm stuck with this mess. He sent a final dollar amount I owe but refuses to send invoices. Or detailed invoices. He told me he was going to repair and fix things and when I fly into town, nothing had been done. When I did meet with him he would go from room to room and say well I made that decision because I didn't want to bother you. Or I did this because it matched the stairs..he was asked to match our wood floor to the work he was doing to the stairs...he decided on his own to use red oak because it matched the spindles...that was a surprise...and wrong, some trim in rooms were painted white and the trim around the doors were left dark brown stained...fixtures were removed from ceilings and hung in my garage I don't even know what light switches go to what...

Description of Work: Scherrer Construction updated our bathrooms and kitchen.

Description of Work: They did a remodel on a kitchen and two bathrooms for us.

Description of Work: I used Scherrer Construction Inc to do remodel my house. They did the work in 3 phases. In phase 1 they extended my kitchen by adding it to another room. They put new flooring and gave me a new kitchen. Phase 2 wad toilet and bathroom remodeling. Some changes in y daughter’s room. In phase 3 they worked downstairs.

Description of Work: They did home remodeling including an addition on our home.
