Description of Work: Tuck and point chimney that needed a lot of repair. I live in an old brick house that is going to need extensive masonry work this summer and plan on using Brad Butler again for this job.

+ -1 moreThe Jay Crew bid for the project was 60% or more over what we considered to be fair market value. A friend referred us to Muncie Masonry and Concrete(formerly Billiter Masonry) and started working with A.J. who is the owner and grandson of Albert who started the business in 1952, I believe. Their quote was very near to our original budget after adding more features and masonry work. We are more than half way through the project and could not be more pleased with our choice. The owner A.J. can be reached at 765-749-1234 for questions or estimates.
Description of Work: Provided a quote as part of a J-Crew bid. It was for a custom outdoor fireplace. Jay Crew then added around 20% to their overall estimate.

+ -1 moreIt went excellent. He was on time. He actually ended up contacting me and coming a day early. He took the amount of time that he said that he would. I was particularly impressed with the way he was able to match the new brick to the existing brick.
Description of Work: They rebuilt my chimney.
