+ -1 moreSteve Schenk came out promptly to give an estimate on removing a tree that had fallen on my gazebo during a storm. He was back within days and had it removed. Debris was cleaned up and hauled away. Pricing was very fair and the workers did a great job. Will definitely use him in the future if needed.
Description of Work: Removed a large pine tree that fell during a storm and penetrated and crushed the roof of a large 30 foot wide gazebo.

Description of Work: We needed a dozen or more trees either cut down or trimmed. We'd been on a waiting list for another tree service to do the work for almost a yearand couldn't get them to come out. Called Schenk; they called back that evening and scheduled a time to come out and quote us within a few days. They scheduled us within the week and did the job.

They were very prompt with their response and were within our budget with their estimate. They came out and removed the tree without causing any further damaged to the house. They were very professional and kind. We will happily call them again with any future business.

+ -1 moreThey were very responsive, came out, evaluated the work, gave me an estimate and put the work on their schedule. Arrived mid morning, completed the work, did an excellent job, cleaned up the whole work area. Price came in within the estimate.
Description of Work: Trimmed dead limbs from two large maple trees in front yard. Shaped the trees and removed limbs hanging over house.

Description of Work: They removed five sweet gum trees in preparation for a remodeling project. They quickly tackled each tree, completing the job in the morning. They went the extra mile and trimmed other trees with dead limbs. They finished the work and asked us to pay slightly less than the bid. Fantastic job!

+ -1 moreThis tree was located at my mom's house. It was large about 4' across at the base that extended only 5' tall. Out of that base 4 trunks 2' in diameter extended another 50' approximately. The tree was very rotten on the inside. It was also only 25' from the front of my mom's house. Steve removed the tree top and placed the rest of the tree in the woods. He didn't remove the stump. My mom has lots of plants that are located strategically in the way. Nothing was damaged and no mess left behind. The tree was there and then it was gone like somebody sliced it off at the ground and flew it out of there. They did a great job. I almost forgot my mom's house was built in the mid 1800's and it would have been a tragedy if it were damaged. I trusted Schenk and Sons to the job. The reason for the b rating in punctuality is because they are pretty busy, and it took a little longer to get to us. It wasn't an emergency.
Description of Work: Steve and his crew removed a large old maple tree. They cut the tree down. Shredded all the small stuff and disposed of it off site. All of the large pieces they placed in woods per my instructions.
