Description of Work: We had the walls in a kitchen, family room and several hallways repainted along with approximately 1800 sq. ft. of ceiling. This included numerous recessed lighting trims removed and spray painted. Scaffolding was needed for one of the ceilings. In addition, they repainted our gutters and downspouts. We had one room faux painted by Mrs. Funkhouser who was assisted by her daughter and Mr. Funkhouser. The quality and detail of the painting was of the highest level. Many drywall flaws were repaired prior to painting which left the drywall looking brand new. Caulking was done along all of the baseboards and window casings prior to painting giving it clean, sharp transitions. No drips or spills occurred and they were careful to cover surrounding areas many of which did not have the contents entirely removed. |The finished faux painting is incredible. Mrs. Funkhouser worked with us to pick out the faux scheme and color hues. She brings actual examples of her work on large sample boards thus making it easier to visualize the finished product. It took 5 days to complete an 11 by 13 room which helps explain the cost of doing quality faux. She is not only a good painter but an artist as well. |Because the painters do such extensive drywall prep be prepared to experience the dusting issues that go with this process. While they take precautions during cleanup it does not contain all of it. If you're looking for a quick, slap-on paint job these folks are not for you. If you're particular and want quality you will want these people. I will definitely have them back for future work and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Description of Work: They arrived on time, hooked up a hepa filter vacuum, cleaned every branch of duct work back to the furnace, taking special care to make sure that pneumatic hoses do not scuff the fresh paint work. After all vents were cleaned, a sanitizing solution was flushed through the system, and were air returns were thoroughly cleaned. All the vents were cleaned and replaced. Kevin checked for mold and other contaminants inside the furnace with a scope and replaced the filter wit the one I had purchased. Any debris that fell off the vents was cleaned. The crew was friendly and professional. We would definitely use them again and can recommend their services.
