Description of Work: HAD AN ANGIE'S LIST DEAL, 2HRS ELECTRICAL FOR $99.00 FOUND I NEEDED A NEW ELECTRICAL METER BOX OUTSIDE. SO THE 2 HOURS WAS KIND OF WASTED. ELECTRICIAN HAD TO GO BACK FOR THE PART, AND I ENDED UP PAYING AN ADDITIONAL $500.00.

Description of Work: We purchased a "special" ceiling fan installation from Angie's List that White's Electric had offered. They did a great job on the fan, it was installed right where we wanted it and they added a double switch in the room for us. White's Electrical also did some extra jobs for uswhile they were at the home and the additional price was very fair and reasonable. They fixed our front doorbell and also hung a table light for us. I would highly recommend White's Electrical and they would be my vendor of choice for when we need to do anything.

Description of Work: I had a few small electrical jobs: changing a switch, a very high porch light bulb, and reinstalling a remote control fan light. They did a super job and I will use them again. This is the type of deal that Angie's should be promoting!! Thanks.

Description of Work: I purchased a solar powered attic fan through Angie's list. The company contacted me to set up an appointment, but I was not home. I later contacted the company and set up an appointment, and they called a few days before the fan was to be installed and canceled the appointment, because they double booked. So we made another appointment and the service man was to be at our house on a certain day between 8-10 am. I phone the company at 9:30, because we have not seen or heard from anyone and was told the guy was getting the rest of the parts and should be at my home soon. 11 am, still have not heard or seen anyone. Call the company again, "he isn't there yet?" They guy finally shows up at almost noon, he blames the office the office blames him, just over a very unprofessional way to deal with the situation. When we asked about further discount for the inconvenience, they never called back about that either. I will never use these guys again.

Description of Work: They came on time and fixed my outside outlets and post light. They stayed to make sure everything worked ok. Very pleased.

Description of Work: Purchased bathroom light/fan through Angie's List promotion. Had no trouble arranging installation. I am not sure the fan that much better or more efficient than what I replaced, but that is my fault for assuming it would be better and not doing more research.

Description of Work: They replaced the ceiling light in my closet, worked on the ceiling fixture in my bedroom and repaired the outdoor light that was damaged when a large branch fell on it. I was very pleased with the service and will use them again.

Description of Work: Changed lighting fixtures in foyer, dining room, and 3 in kitchen. Put in 3 overhead fans in upstairs bedrooms. Came 2 separate times to do all the work. The only thing that I took issue with, was that they erected scaffolding to put in the Foyer chandelier, and didnt even ask if height was OK, (had asked at begining of appointment what height I wanted it, I said about the height of the original one). It was put in too high (to my taste). The scaffolding was already down before I had noticed the new chandelier. Upon speaking with the guy, he said when we needed more work done he could come out with scaffolding and charge me only half price, to adjust height. I was not really happy about that.

Obtained a discount for the ceiling fan installation under Angies List "Big Deal". Service technicians were very prompt, professional, and done an overall great job. I would absolutely contact this business for future work and would highly recommend them to anyone else. Great experience and great price for the work performed. Five Star Service.

Description of Work: Complete electrical panel swap out replacing the old fuse panel. Checked the wiring to the A/C unit for proper amperage and suggested way to make it more efficient and protect the unit. Cleaned up work area and labled circuits in the new panel before leaving I am happy with the work performed and would recommend this company to friends.

Description of Work: The gentlemen did an excellent job of installing a new home run electrical outlet in my basement utility room and an excellent job of cleaning up. I was just caught off guard that materials cost me $100. The installer said it was the new cost of copper. Like I said, caught off guard.Would hire them again!

Description of Work: we paid $200 extra above the $849 to get a 200 amp upgrade. White said the deal was fo a 100 amp swap out and a whole house surge protector. Our house is totally electric and needed at least 200 amps. We were happy to get this job done because water leaking into the box in the past caused some rusting of wires and connectors. We were planning to get this done and your coupon deal came just in time.

Description of Work: We purchased the Big Deal to replace our entire electrical box. The price was a GREAT deal! Sam and Nate came to install that and a whole house surge protector. They added a light and an outlet on our sunporch. They were both very professional and knowledgeable. We have had other electrical issues that affected the outlet and Sam came back to diagnose what was causing the problem. We've used White's in the past and will do so again in the future.

Description of Work: I had 4 3 way switches and lamp post light that we're not working. They came in fixed everything in less than an hour. They used switches I had purchased. Great friendly fast service. They even took the time to explain why things were not working. We will definitely use them again in the future.

Description of Work: Whole house electrical inspection. Very timely, performed service very thorough and quickly, within 1/2 an hour. Answered any questions I had as he went through the inspection and gave me an estimate of work to be done by their company.

Description of Work: We would like to report that we were disappointed in the service provided by White's Electrical, LLC in Mooresville, IN 46158 - 317-834-1922. We requested them to check on the electrical socket in a bedroom I used for ironing clothes. The light in the room flickered heavily when the iron would heat up. Larry came to the house and immediately went to the main panel box in the garage. He told me that our wires were burnt and the whole panel needed replacement. He said the panel should be replaced every 20 years. He was insistant that this was a dangerous situation. He went to the bedroom and merely checked to see if electric was active in the socket. He said that after the panel was replaced if that did not correct the flickering he would see if they could run another line to the garage. The new panel did nothing to help. Larry did not answer calls to check the work of the men as promised. We called Ashpaugh Electric, Inc. another AAA in Angie's list. They found that the previous repair men had DOUBLE TAPPED three wires which is illigal and harmful. He explained the flickering in the bedroom in a simple matter-of-fact manner. He fixed the double tappes for us. We also had him move wiring in the bathroom. He was very helpful and courteous. He said that panels did not need replacing every 20 years. He also said that they were running into installations in electric and heating where the workers were told to sell expensive unneeded repairs. We were taken advantage of by White Electric but did not want to deal with them again.
