White's Electrical LLC

It has taken me a long time to write this review, because while I LOVE giving good reviews, I really dislike giving bad ones. We were having problems with a few of our electrical outlets not working - a few inside the house, and most of the outside ones. We decided to use the Angie's List coupon for White's Electric. The men who came out were very nice and professional, and looked over our home's wiring. They let us know that many things were not up to code, and the whole house needed to be rewired quickly. We set up an appointment, and they showed up - on time, again, very courteous, extremely nice people. They finished everything in one day. We thought everything was great, and no worries. The very next week, the outside outlets started going out again. They sent a technician (at a cost of $100 for the trip) to press a reset button. They also told me that any trips they made to check on things would be $100, and that pressing this button should solve my problems... It does not. Three years later, we are back where we started. One of the same outlets in the house is not working - again, and MOST of the outside outlets don't work, even with pressing the reset button. I don't have the $100 to keep calling them to come out to check the work that they did. I am not satisfied, and would not recommend this company.

The first year I didn’t need them and the second year they didn’t work. I called them to come fix it, but they can't go on the roof when it's covered in snow or if it's raining. Appointments keep getting cancelled. It seems like there is no effort on their part to resolve the issue.

Michael came out on time and found the problem and fixed it within 30 minutes. He wasn't sure if the work done last fall might have caused the problem, so there was no charge. He explained what had happened and what he had to do to fix it. I really appreciate his professionalism and promptness.

It went pretty well. They actually mislabeled a few things so there was a little glitch there but we got it fixed.

The service went well. We had problems with the basement lights not turning on. They repaired the lights in the basement. My wife dealt with the technician and she was pleased and said he was professional. Scheduling was not a problem.

I bought the Angie's Big deal for $1500 for a 200 amp upgrade. It actually ended up costing more than that; however, I expected it would based on the discloser provided in the Big Deal advertisement. More work needed to be done plus I purchased a whole house power surge protector. Overall I am happy with the work that was done. The only problem was that it took three visits over a long period of time for someone to correct an issue with a live wire that was left over after the installation. The first two attempts were not done correctly. But the owner quickly got involved and made sure the work was done correctly the last time. I appreciated his responsiveness and based on that I would recommend this company and plan to use them in the future.

They were easy to work with. They are handy. The technician was good and scheduling was fine.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine. There were no additional charges. They really didn't do that much but they answered the call and they showed up for the appointment so it was satisfactory.

There were some issues with a part on it not working. We had to wait for the part to come in to be replaced. It took a while before the generator was working but it has all been resolved.

I think it was fine, I don't remember any issues. I also don't remember being so great that I would write down and recommend them. It was some kind of average, they did what they said they'd do and I guess that's good.

The guy did the inspection, he said the company would call us on a possible contract for our whole house generator, that never happened. He also mentioned as he was leaving that if we wanted to wait he was going out on his own and we would be receiving new contact information for him not to be confused. We don't trust anything he said.

My experience with them was great. They were friendly and they did the job in a timely manner. The workers they sent were really nice. The quality of their work was good. I transferred service to Whites Electrical LLC because of the review I read from Angie's List.

It was fine. They were nice folks. They came out accordingly and got everything that they supposed to. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. Some of the landscape lighting worked and others didn't. The consensus was that it would be very expensive as they would have to replace the whole system because they couldn't tell where the short was. They were on time for their appointment and answered all the questions that I had. He was only there for about 15 or 20 mins and so it was expensive for the answer that I received. He seemed to know what he was talking about.

Very well. I ended up having a second one installed as well.

It was a very pleasant experience. They were quick and did a good job. They installed couple of ceiling fans and everything worked fine.They charged $75 a fan, which was reasonable. They cleaned up after themselves and I was happy with them.

I had used their services previously and they did a good job. They called immediately to schedule. They came on time to the appointment. They did a good job with the work. It is certainly a good improvement from what we had.

Overall the experience was great! Mike the technician was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and was very thorough.

Nice work. We had purchased a Big Deal and received two hours of work. Our wood floors have a very thick subfloor and cutting through it took some heavy work. Finished work looks nice.

Everything went very well. The electrician was professional, arrived on time, and gave helpful advice on where the outlets would be best positioned. Furthermore, it was easy to get in touch for scheduling, and we had no problems with the quality of the work.

It went ok, but on the day that was originally scheduled for the consultation, I took off the afternoon from work and waited until finally calling to find out he had had overlooked the appointment and apologized and would be out the next day. The guy showed then as planned. He did not see as knowledgable as I would expect. For example I think it is common to have an outlet that turns on/off with a switch - he advised me that my bathroom outlet did not work and I had to explain the switch had to be on. He then had me assist with determining which circuit was for the kitchen so he shut off the power to a couple circuits which was fine except I did notice until hours after he left that he never turned them back on - this meant my refrigerator was off for that entire time until I flipped it on myself later. The quote was around 4k for a good amount of work. It seemed fair but I ended up going with someone else and having only part of the original statement of work completed.
