Description of Work: After signing up for the painting service with Angie's representative I called Tony to schedule a day for painting. We agreed to schedule the paint job for Sept. 22, 2014 at 9:00 am. Painters were not at my house at 9:00 am so I called Tony. He said that they should be on their way and that he would call me back to see where they were. He did not call me back. I called him around 10:00. He said they were 15 minutes from Indy. Painters arrived around 10:30am. They explained the job description and were not correct. They had a job order for 2 men at $60.00 an hour. I told them that that was not what I had signed up for. One of the painters called Tony and had him on speaker phone. It was confirmed by Tony that I had signed up for the $399.00 for 16 hrs of painting or repairs. They understood the order but because it was now about 11:00 am Tony, the painters and I agreed to start the painting and repairs the next day Sept. 23, 2014. The painters proceeded to walk around the house making mental notes of what repairs and what needed to be painted. They took a gallon can of paint that I had purchased previously to match the paint as they were buying another gallon. They also took the bottom trim of one of the windows to match the wood for replacement of that window and other repairs. Painters no showed on Sept 23. I called Tony on Sept 24 at 8:45 am and he told me that the painters had gone to another paint job but that they would be at my house on Saturday, Sept 27, 2014. They no showed on Sat. Sept. 27, 2014. I called him at 6pm and he told me that his painter had been involved in MVA and that he would have some other painter at my house on Wed. Oct.1, 2014. I told him that I needed my paint job completed by Wednesday and that if he could not do this that he needed to tell me so that I could get another paint contractor. He said he would complete job on Wed. Oct. 1, 2014. I text him with my address and I stated what I had told him on the phone about getting the job done on Wed. On Tuesday Sept 30 I text him reminding him that the painters had my window trim and the gallon of paint. I also reminded him to make sure that the painters had all the equipment needed to complete the painting and repair job. He text back stating that he would. Painters no show on Wed Oct.1, 2014 and again no call from Tony. Tony never called me to explain the no shows I always had to call him. ***The membership is in my fiance name (member name removed) but the visa card that I used is in my name (name removed). Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for a handyman for the day.

Description of Work: Through Angie's List Big Deal purchased four hours of handyman time which was stated to include electrical work. However, I spoke to the provider and learned that the electrical work I needed was not included in the offer. I understood how that could happen and set up a time for the provider to come and give me a quote for what the work would cost. The provider was a no-call no show. I contacted Angie's List about a refund of the Big Deal purchase price and the representative cheerfully agreed to credit my account, though it has been two weeks and that has not yet occurred.

Description of Work: I didn't exactly know what I needed done in my bathroom, I just knew it was a mess from a previous owner. I gave him a call and he came out the following day to check it out. I needed new flooring, new cabinets, a new shower/bath and a wall fixed. He was very respectful with me not knowing anything about what was going on, so he explained everything detail for detail. Before the process and during the remodel he kept me informed of what was going on and what needed to be done. Him and his workers were very respectful of me and my home. I thought I was going to have to pay an arm and a leg for this remodel but it was not outrageous at all! I would recommend Tony The ToolMan to anyone.

Description of Work: Remove toilet; replace toilet wax ring; tear out old bathroom vinyl and scrape up old glue; install new bathroon vinyl; re-seat toilet; repair drywall and screw holes; prep wall to hang new wire shelving; paint outdoor vinyl shutters

Description of Work: Tony the tool man worked on a bathroom located at my grandparents. It was partially gutted he finished it the rest of the way. Then remodeled the whole thing. Running into many issues he worked through them. The joist on the floor were messed up so he had to fix that,then the bathtub was way too big or the bathroom and had been sitting for many years; he made it for. He even added a place to put the soap with beautiful stain glass all around the shower and even in the door way. In such a small area he made a bathroom for for a king.

Description of Work: Water Main broke underneath my bathroom floor, inwhich we were looking to remodle anyways. After calling the water company to get the water shut off I knew there was someone we could call at 2:30am. I found Tony the Tool Man's number on Manta.com and decided to give him a call. He answered immediately, and assured me he would be there to look at the issue at once. About an hour later Mr. Tillberry (owner) showed up at my door and immediately took control of the issue. Assuring me he would fix it immediately. After explaining we were looking to remodle the bathroom anyways he gave us a very detailed and exceptional estimate. He started immediately that morning. Dedicating his time and efforts we recieved a beautifully remodled bathroom in 4 days. He was very attentive and answered any questions we had. He even guarenteed his work. We both are very happy with how the emergency was handled and the remodle was finished. Will be using him again for future remodle or emergency services.
