I was not aware that this company had a new owner when I set up the in-home estimate - which also meant that I was not aware that the company sub-contracts. Mr. Lehman was professional; there was not a feeling of "high pressure" sales, although there are manufacturers that the owner prefers over others. I chose moderately priced windows which included an additional 10% for custom color on outside. The installer brought two inexperienced (although one was very hard working) young helpers with him. They had a difficult time removing 2 windows and damaged the vinyl siding during this process. The caulking (due to outside temperature) was left incomplete and what was caulked, was totally unacceptable. Caulk was left on the "custom" color of the window, gaps and the shutters were not secured to the house. I had to call and complain instead of the owner speaking up first and offering to compensate for the damage. The trim around the damaged windows were replaced by the contractor, so now I am left with trim that does not match the other windows. The following Spring, the owner sent out yet another sub-contractor to fix the shutters and re-caulk. This contractor used caulk that did not match the windows and also left splattered caulk on the windows. After another complaint, the owner came out and re-caulked the windows himself and further secured the shutters. This took a total of 7 months to resolve.

They picked up the doors and I have been waiting 3 weeks for them to replace the plastic wheels on my doors with metal ones. I called them after 3 weeks to find out where the doors were and they informed me they were waiting for the metal wheels to come in. It has now been over 2 months and I still don't have my doors. Since they could not get the metal wheels we agreed that they'd make me 2 new doors but I have yet to receive those either.
